Meanwhile Mercury in early Virgo is almost at a standstill, ready to turn retrograde just past midnight, in the wee hours of the 5^th.   Yes, Mercury retrograde in Virgo might bring you some mixed signals or a crashed hard drive, and then it retrogrades back into Leo on the 14^th where it remains until turning direct on the 28^th.  Sigh. VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  Venus in Leo squares Uranus for the first few days of the month, inspiring your creativity and sense of connection in relationships.  The Leo new moon channels this pretty delightful Venus-Uranus energy, so use it to support your creative vision and expression.  Mercury in early Virgo slows way down to get ready to retrograde in the wee hours of the 5^th.  Mercury retrograde in your own sign can be vexing, especially when it’s your ruling planet, but it won’t be in Virgo for long, just til the 14^th.  Right after it retrogrades it joins up with Venus in Virgo for a few days of juicy emotional exchange. By the week of the 11th Mars in Gemini catches up to Jupiter and they both square Saturn.  Hmm.  In fact, the Jupiter Saturn square is in effect for the whole month, bringing some solid good sense your way (not that you ever lack that!) along with the passionate energy of Mars.  I like Jupiter and Saturn together—they balance each other out and create rich soil for planning and groundedness.  Mars in the picture will help you actualize your plans. Then things get even more interesting the week of the 18^th, when the Aquarius full moon on the 19th lines up with Mercury retrograde and Uranus.  Expect the unexpected!  And—expect a lot of excited and excitable mental energy. LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  What a wild time we are in!  Venus in Leo makes an angle to Uranus for the first few days of the month, bringing inspiration and excitement in relationships.  This influence is in effect on the Leo new moon on the 4^th, so use it for creative and emotional expression.  Mercury in Virgo is almost at a standstill, getting ready to turn retrograde just after midnight on the early hours of the 5^th. Yup, Mercury retrograde!  It’s that time again!  Given that Mercury rules Virgo, its retrograde could have a big influence on communication, planning, and research. But it will only be in Virgo til the 14^th, when it retrogrades back into Leo.  Right after it turns retrograde it pairs up with Venus in Virgo for a few days of pretty delightful emotional exchange.  By the week of the 11^th Mars in Gemini catches up to Jupiter and they both square Saturn in Pisces.  The Jupiter-Saturn angle carries through the month, and I like this combination for groundedness and long-term planning. SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  What a month!  It begins with Venus in Leo in an angle to Uranus, inspiring excitement and creative vision.  The Leo new moon is on the 4^th, so together with the Venus-Uranus effect, it is a powerful lunation for making art  and making love.  Keep in mind that Mercury in early Virgo turns retrograde in the wee hours of the 5^th, but it’s not so bad, really!   Mercury retrograde pairs up with Venus in Virgo on the 6^th for a few days of delightful interchange.  Mercury retrogrades back into Leo on the 14^th and that’s when you might find it more aggravating….
