CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  The month begins with a few days of a nice angle between the Lunar Nodes and the Cancer Sun, great for connections and intimacy.  Meanwhile Mars in Taurus gets into an aspect with Neptune and there is an awful lot of hand-wringing going on.  Shields up:  people are spewing their angst around and you don’t need it.  Mercury enters Leo on the 2^nd and spends a few days opposing Pluto.   This is a great combination for deep mental work or contemplation.  Then the 5^th brings a beautiful new moon in your own sign, so use it to crystallize new plans and projects, and to set intentions for relationships and for your home.  Things are pretty calm til the 11th—with the big exception of the Uranus/Pluto/Saturn angle which is causing a great deal of emotional and political stress for the planet.  By the 11^th Mars in Taurus catches up to Uranus, while Venus opposes Pluto and Mercury makes a quick angle to Neptune. What?!  The Mars Uranus effect is edgy and excitable, prone to impulsive action, while Venus and Pluto make you deep and seeking commitment. Mercury and Neptune – well, your intuition is spot on so use it to guide you through this emotional minefield.   Not a good time to make decisions about relationships.  The Capricorn full moon falls on the 21^st, and it’s the second full moon in Capricorn in a row (weird!). This is not an easy lunation for you since Capricorn is your opposite sign and you might be feeling it intensely, and because it lines up with Pluto.  You might be feeling that there’s not enough room for your self-expression, and you might throw your weight around in a very un-Cancerian way…Mercury in Leo squares Uranus at the same time, inspiring you to be uncharacteristically careless with your speech.  At the same time pay attention to even your wildest creative ideas.  The Sun enters Leo on the 22^nd, and the Pluto energy gets even more intense for a few days, so be careful of power struggles.  As the month ends Venus starts sneaking up on Uranus, inspiring connectedness and creative expression.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)  July opens with few days of Cancer Sun-Lunar Node juiciness, and you’re enjoying connecting with people you care about, even though everyone’s emotional tone verges on hysteria right now.  Mars and Neptune have everyone stirred up and in crisis mode. Mercury enters your sign of Leo on the 2^nd and opposes Pluto for a few days.  Beware of going  down rabbit holes of angst right now; instead use this combination for some deep mental work and focus.  Then it’s the delightful Cancer new moon on the 5^th, a beautiful new moon especially for generating plans for home improvement. Apart from the relentless global turmoil thanks to Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, things are kinda calm until the 11^th. Venus enters your own sign and immediately opposes Pluto for a few days of emotional intensity, while Mars in Taurus catches up to Uranus.  Oy!  You’re feeling edgy and impulsive. Try to restrain yourself from throwing things out of frustration. Use the Venus Pluto combination to ground you and focus on your commitments.  The Capricorn full moon is on the 21^st—yes, a second Capricorn full moon in a row—and it makes a big angle to Pluto while Mercury in Leo squares Uranus.  You will be wanting to speak truth to power, somehow, somewhere.  Mercury and Uranus reind you to  “use your words.”  Channel that wild and creative mental energy into something productive.  Then the Sun enters Leo on the 22^nd, still wrapped up with Pluto.  Your throwing more weight around than you realize.  Relax for the rest of the month, and enjoy Venus sneaking up to Uranus at the very end of July, inspiring romance and creativity. 

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  What an interesting month!   It begins with a sweet lineup of the Cancer Sun with the Lunar Nodes, bringing satisfying connections with loved ones. Mercury enters Leo on the 2^nd and immediately makes an angle to Pluto, so it is a good time for deep reflection. Then here comes the gorgeous Cancer new moon on the 5^th, a really good lunation for planning, especially planning for your home.  Things remain pretty calm til the 11^th – although keep in mind that “calm” doesn’t really mean calm since Uranus, Saturn, and Pluto are still knocking us around.  Venus enters Leo on the 11^th and immediately aspects Pluto while Mars in Taurus meets up with Uranus and Mercury makes a quick angle to Neptune.  This is kind of a mess.  The Mars Uranus effect is active and impulsive while Venus and Pluto are deep and focused on commitment. Mercury and Neptune are inspired and spacy. Do not attempt anything too intense under the few days of these contradictory influences !  In other words, I would avoid emotional processing and making big plans.  Just pay attention to your desires and your inspirations, and don’t necessarily act on anything just yet.  The Capricorn full moon comes on the 21^st with heavy Pluto aspects, so be careful of power struggles.  At the same time Mercury in Leo squares Uranus, so your nervous system might be a bit tweaked.  You are an idea factory under most conditions but you’ll be even more so with Mercury and Uranus. The Sun enters Leo on the 22^nd and the Pluto effect gets even more intense, making you quite willful. At the very end of the month Venus in Leo starts making an angle to Uranus, waking up your creative impulses.

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  July begins with a pretty aspect between the Sun and the Lunar Nodes, emphasizing relationships and intimacy. Mercury enters Leo on the 2^nd and opposes Pluto.  Stay away from rabbit holes of insecurity and mistrust.   Then here comes the beautiful new moon in Cancer on the 5^th. Use it to make new plans, especially about home-related things.  Apart from the endlessly stressful backdrop of Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, things are relatively calm until the 11^th.  Venus enters Leo on the 11^th, while Mars in Taurus catches up to Uranus.  Ooh, that’s a Libra push-and-pull situation if there ever were one!  Venus and Pluto make you want to commit, and Mars and Uranus make you want to grab at every new thing.  Watch out for impulsive action. Mercury makes a quick pass over Neptune at the same time, so your only way to handle this is to really slow down, go inward, and listen to your intuition.  The Capricorn full moon comes on the 21^st with major Pluto aspects, and Mercury in Leo squares Uranus.  Your brain will be on fire, and the Pluto influence, which continues for a few days after the Sun enters Leo on the 22^nd, will be intense.  You will be feeling a bit unseen, and very aware of how other people are exerting their power and influence. Stay calm, and try not to take it personally.  At the end of the month Venus starts moving close to Uranus, bringing creative and romantic inspiration. 

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  July begins with a pretty combination of the Cancer Sun and the lunar Nodes, facilitating intimacy and connection.  Mercury enters Leo on the 2^nd and right away lines up with Pluto—it’s a good time for deep and focused mental work.  Then here comes the beautiful Cancer new moon on the 5^th, great for planning and new starts in relationships and in your home.  Except for the fact that Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto are still setting the world on edge, things are kinda calm til the 11^th.  Venus enters Leo on the 11^th and immediately opposes Pluto while Mars in your opposite sign Taurus catches up with Uranus. Uh oh, that’s a lot of everything everywhere all at once!  Mars and Uranus are likely to make you impossibly willful and impulsive; Venus and Pluto will give you the heft to impose that will on everyone else.  Thank god Mercury makes a quick pass by Neptune so you’ll be a space cadet. Try try try to harness your intuition so your impulses are on track.  The Capricorn full moon is on the 21^st (yes, two Capricorn full moons in a row—what?!)  with heavy Pluto aspects.  Yes, that Scorpio will, that Scorpionic force- of -nature thing will be out of control, so be aware of your force field!  The Sun enters Leo on the 22^nd and the Pluto influence is even more exact.  If  there are Capricorns in your life, expect to go head-to-head.   Be careful of power struggles.  Hang on til the end of the month when Venus in Leo starts moving into a square to Uranus, opening up possibilities for creativity and innovation.

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)  July gets off to a good start, with the Cancer Sun in an angle to the Lunar Nodes, bringing connection with friends and intimates, although Mars and Neptune are raising the panic level for lots of people so you have to withstand a lot of handwringing. Mercury enters Leo on the 2^nd and opposes Pluto, a good opportunity for focused mental work.  Then the gorgeous Cancer new moon comes on the 5^th, great for new beginnings in relationships or in your home. Keep in mind that July is yet another month unfolding against the roller coaster influence of the Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto angle… Otherwise things are kinda okay til the 11^th.  Venus enters Leo that day and makes an angle to Pluto while Mars in Taurus catches up to Uranus.  Yikes!  Mars and Uranus bring impulsive action and excitability, and Venus and Pluto are about commitment and intense emotional transformation.  Huh.  Expect to be demanding of your partner, so watch out for your willfulness!  The Capricorn full moon is on the 21^st, and it pulls a lot of Pluto energy—more reason to be aware of  your prodigious force field.   The Sun enters Leo on the 22^nd and the angle to Pluto gets very exact.   You will want to confront power and injustice with an extra dose  of Sagittarian conviction.  You can coast for the rest of the month. At the very end of July Venus in Leo moves into a square to Uranus, inspiring creativity and innovation. 

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  Well, you get some Cancerian juiciness this month, at least!  July begins with an angle between the Cancer Sun and the North Lunar Nodes, bringing some enjoyable relationship dynamics your way.  Mercury enters Leo on the 2^nd and makes an angle to Pluto so it is a good time for some focused study or reflection.  Then the beautiful Cancer new moon comes on the 5^th. As your opposite sign, this is an important and fruitful lunation for you, especially for setting intentions in relationships and in your home. Although the world is still in a spasm of distress thanks to the angle between Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto, otherwise things remain relatively calm til around the 11^th.  At that point Venus enters Leo and opposes Pluto while Mars in Taurus pairs up with Uranus.  Yikes.
