SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  It’s your time, and many planets are in fixed signs—especially in your own sign of Scorpio.  Ooh la la.  But let me warn you – this month is insane, as I’m sure you can tell already, intuitive sort that you are.  If you can stand the backdrop of insanity, the first week of November has a delicious Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio, great for clarifying your values and prioritizing relationships.  Then get ready for the tumultuous full moon in Taurus and lunar eclipse on the 8th – it’s a big one!  Not only is it smack on the earth axis, a major trigger point for the world, but it also occurs on the US election day. It has the Sun, Moon, and  Mercury on the 8^th lining up exactly with Uranus and the North Lunar Node.  Saturn and Venus are within spitting distance of this pileup.  So this full moon has the potential to be liberatory, thanks to Uranus and the Node, and it will also bring surprises and shocks, and even violence. Your mission is to stay grounded and clear, and focus on values of interconnectedness. Make deep and radical commitments.  Follow your spider senses about everything.  With Mars retrograde and in a square to Neptune, you may feel thwarted and confused, or inspired as hell.    Avoid arguments at all costs, and just go dancing.  By the 10^th the Scorpio Sun gets into a very exact angle to Saturn and Uranus.  Dramatic change is afoot! Then Venus enters Sagittarius on the 16^th, followed by Mercury on the 17^th. Those two planets spend the rest of the month together, making you uncharacteristically chatty.   The Sag new moon follows on the 23^rd, right after the Sun enters that sign, bringing a sense of relief and somewhat less drama. By the last few days of November, Venus and Mercury make an opposition to Mars retrograde, so have fun with that.  It’s a highly creative aspect, and time for some breakthrough diplomacy in your own personal orbit…

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)  Well, this month is nuts—or in any case  the first half of November will really test your indomitable Sagittarian optimism.  You just have to hang on for about 2 1/2 weeks and you’ll be fine. Really.  The month begins with a quite nice Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio, putting the focus on values of interrelationship, but who can tell, since it is against a backdrop of intense Saturn Uranus polarization and Mars retrograde in your opposite sign of Gemini.  Things are very weird out there, and nothing is really going according to plan.  Tension will build and build as we approach the explosive full moon in Taurus and eclipse on November 8^th.  (Yup, it’s election day—I did notice that.)  This full moon is a trifecta of disruption since the Sun and Moon line up with Mercury, Uranus and the North Lunar Node. Saturn and Venus are close enough to get into the action too.  People will be crazy, the world will be tumultuous, etc etc, although there is an energy of liberation that is possible– liberation thanks to Uranus and transformation thanks to all the Scorpio planets.  The Uranus effect is very strong on this full moon so expect the unexpected –on crack.  And Mars retrograde squaring Neptune all month will wreak havoc with truth. Your job is to stay calm, and with Mars retrograde in Gemini, do not get into shouting matches with anyone about anything. By the 16^th Venus enters Sagittarius, followed by Mercury on the 17^th.  Whew—those two planets move in tandem for the rest of the month.  You will have a good time with this combination, being as convivial and conversational as you are. The Sun enters Sag on the 22^nd, followed by a sweet Sag new moon on the 23^rd.  Enjoy – have fun, make music, go dancing.  The end of the month puts Mars retrograde opposite Venus and Mercury, inspiring your creative soul.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  So November is simple, really. The first half is simply awful and the second half is fun.  The world is especially crazy, unpredictable and even violent right now.  Even though the first week of November has a pretty Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio – good for focusing on intimacy – tension is palpable as we head towards the Taurus full moon and eclipse on the 8^th.  Yowza!  This is an extraordinarily powerful full moon, with the Sun and Moon lining up with Uranus, Mercury, and the North lunar Node. Saturn and Venus are in the mix too. It is explosive and transformational, and it will not be easy.  At the same time Mars is retrograde in Gemini and squares Neptune all month, adding to the confusion and misinformation. Keep hold of your earthy values of sustainability and cohesion, and just weather the storm. Things get better once Venus and Mercury move into Sagittarius on the 16^th and 17^th, joined by the Sun in Sag on the 22^nd.  The New moon in sagiitarius on the 23^rd is a lunation of hopefulness, believe it or not. The Venus-Mercury conjunction which lasts through the rest of the month is about communication, connection, and shared ideas. Mars retrograde opposes Venus and mercury at the end of the month, releasing a lot of communicative and creative energy.  Use it!

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)   The first half of November has a serious pile up of planets in fixed signs of Scorpio, Taurus, and Aquarius, aggravating the hell out of you for a couple of weeks.  Don’t worry—it gets better, but you have to get through a  rough couple of weeks.   Pray a lot—I’m serious.  Even though there is a gorgeous Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio during the first week, everyone can feel the rising pressure as we approach the momentous Taurus full moon and lunar eclipse on the 8^th.  (Yes, it’s true – election day.)  Eclipses intensify the action of the moon which in this case is explosive and full of surprises. The Sun and Moon will line up exactly with Uranus, your ruling planet, together with Mercury and the North Lunar Node, and even including Saturn and Venus.  Eek!  The world will be in a complete spasm of liberation and repression. Expect major shock waves. So you see what I mean—just pray a lot, do your work, and love up on your peeps. Once we get through that you can breathe.  By the 16^th Venus enters Sagittarius, followed on the 17^th by Mercury, and on the 22^nd by the Sun.  The 23^rd rings in a beautiful Sag new moon.  The Sagittarian energy will shift the fixed-sign intensity that has been on your Aquarian head, and the Mercury Venus conjunction takes us through the rest of the month, a fun transit of conversation and conviviality.  By the end of the month Mars retrograde in Gemini lines up in opposition so beware of argument.  It is not a time to disagree. Just dance and sing. 

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) Here is the deal:  this month brings crazy and disruptive to a whole new level but it calms down mid-month.  We all just have to weather the storm we’re in through the powerful Taurus full moon on the 8th and the major aspects in fixed signs, Saturn-Uranus polarization, and and and….  Pressure is building – I know you can feel it—and this full moon is so intense that it will make the last few months seem placid.  And it’s an eclipse!  The Scorpio Sun and Moon in Taurus will line up with Uranus on the earth axis, a major trigger point for the world, along with Mercury and the North Lunar Node.  Saturn and Venus are close enough to get in the mix.  So—explosive, check, dramatic, check, conflictual, check.  But—Uranus brings a powerful urge for liberation and all the Scorpio action is about transformation, please god.  And then, just to add more confusion, Mars retrograde in Gemini squares your planet Neptune all month long, so all you can do is roll with all the uncertainty and changes.  Keep the focus on your creative practices, and in general try to pay attention to your surroundings so you don’t trip on the stairs.  Then by mid month many planets move into Sagittarius—Venus on the 16^th, Mercury on the 17^th, the Sun on the 22^nd.  Venus and Mercury move together for the rest of the month, a pretty conjunction that should bring fun and connection, lots of conversation and joyful music.  The Sagittarius new moon falls on the 23^rd, and you’re feeling hopeful.  By the very end of the month Mercury and Venus are exactly opposite Mars retrograde in Gemini.  Make sure you avoid conflict – it is not a time for argument but for shared creative activities.

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  The first half of November brings crazytown like you cannot imagine.  Even though there is a pretty Sun Venus conjunction in Scorpio the first week, it is simply highlighting a deep polarization of values.  Pressure is building as we approach the explosive Taurus full moon and eclipse on the 8^th, which has the Sun and Moon lining up with Uranus, Mercury and the North Lunar Node quite exactly, while also pulling in Saturn and Venus.  Yup, it’s big one, full of shock and awe, made more intense because it’s an eclipse and because it falls on the earth axis, a trigger point for the world.  And it’s the midterm elections in the US!  Yikes!   Yet there is a tremendous potential for liberation and transformation, thanks to Uranus and also to all the Scorpio energy.  Mars is retrograde, so anything is possible, and it squares Neptune all month, ramping up the disinformation. Stay focused, stay prayerful, avoid conflict at all costs.  Just hang on til the middle of the month, when many planets shift into Sagittarius, releasing us all from the fixed-sign bottleneck that has had us in its grips. Venus moves into sag on the 16^th and Mercury on the 17^th, followed by the Sun on the 22^nd and a Sagittarius new moon on the 23^rd.   Whew!  Mercury and Venus move in tandem for the second half of the month, a delightful combination of conviviality and creative and expansive thinking.  By the very end of the month Mars retrograde in Gemini will be exactly opposite Mercury and Venus, so you absolutely have to go with the flow and expect plans to change.  It is not a time for struggle or argument, that’s for sure.

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  Well, crazy doesn’t even begin to describe the first half of November, and of all people, you and your Scorpio friends are feeling it the most.  That is because there are so many planets in Scorpio and Taurus right now, so quite frankly, you’re tense and edgy.  How could you not be under these influences?! Good things might be happening – after all, the Scorpio Sun and Venus are moving in tandem the first week—but you’re acutely aware of the values clash happening personally and politically for you in all kinds of ways.  Meanwhile tension is building as we approach the explosive Taurus full moon and lunar eclipse on November 8^th. This full moon is momentous, as it falls on major trigger point of the earth axis and lines up with Uranus, Mercury, and the North Lunar Node. Saturn and Venus are close enough to get in the action as well.  So between now and the full moon the body politic is tense, violent, crazy.  There will be more shocking events. The polarization is off the charts, and Mars retrograde square Neptune all month adds to uncertainty and misinformation.  So you have to stay very focused on Taurean earthy matters, and do the work necessary to bring about liberation. Just put one step in front of the other (but watch where you’re going since Mars retrograde can be accident-prone) in your Taurean way and take care of business.   The Uranus effect can be liberatory and all the Scorpio energy is transformational. GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  I know I said things were going to get crazier last month, and the month before that, and even the month before that one…but the crazy of November is on a whole other level, especially the first half of the month.  Here is the deal:  pressure is building as we approach the Taurus full moon and lunar eclipse on the 8^th.  Yup, the day of the US midterm elections.  Even though the Sun and Venus in Scorpio are moving in tandem for the first week and you’re feeling lovey- dovey towards your peeps, you’re also aware of the tenuousness of life and of democracy.  So you’re tense. And this upcoming full moon is the Hurricane Katrina  of full moons, a perfect storm explosiveness, polarization, and dramatic upheaval. The Taurus full moon falls on a trigger point for the world itself, and pulls in direct influences of Uranus, Mercury and the North Lunar Node. Saturn and Venus are also in the mix.  So people will be nuts; the world is nuts; expect the unexpected.   Keep your loved ones close and stay calm., and vote.  Uranus can bring liberation and all the Scorpio energy can bring transformation—so light some candles. We will get through this.  Meanwhile Mars in Gemini has turned retrograde and squares Neptune all month, adding to the uncertainty all around.  For you – pay extra attention to unwittingly throwing your power around, and be extra careful while driving. Your energy field is weird and you might be accident prone, but it is a great combination for creative expression, so drag your journal or your guitar out of the closet.  Mid month the energy shifts as Venus and Mercury enter Sagittarius on the 16 and 17^th , followed by the Sun on the 22^nd  Venus and Mercury move in a pair for the rest of the month, wonderful for conviviality, creativity and joyful music. CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)   November is weird as hell and you need to do everything in your power to withstand the overwhelm. You’re the Cancer crab, so this is a good time to hide out in the sand. or retreat into your shell.  The first half of November is very vexing and the second half is a lot more fun.  The world is especially crazy, unpredictable and even violent right now.  Even though the first week of November has a pretty Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio – good for focusing on relationships– tension is palpable as we head towards the Taurus full moon and eclipse on the 8^th.  Yowza!  This is an extraordinarily powerful full moon, with the Sun and Moon lining up with Uranus, Mercury, and the North Lunar Node. LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) Well, you are getting walloped this month along with your Taurean, Scorpio and Aquarius friends, since November brings so much stressful action in fixed signs.   You just have to weather it until mid month when things start to ease. But right now even the pretty Scorpio Sun-Venus conjunction just crystallizes  or you the painful reality of the values clash we are living through.  Ugh.  And pressure builds as we approach the Taurus full moon and lunar eclipse on November 8^th . Yep, election day.  This full moon is very very powerful, dramatic, explosive, filled with surprises and upsets. It lines up quite exactly with Uranus, the planet of upsets, as well as Mercury and the North Lunar Node., and it also falls on a trigger point of the world.  Even Saturn and Venus get into the mix. So it’s a mess, but as always with Uranus there is the potential for liberation, and with Scorpio, that of transformation.  Prepare to be tense and yet, just do the work necessary to stay calm and support humanistic change.  And be sure to vote. By the 16^th Venus moves into fellow fire sign Sagittarius, followed by Mercury on the 17^th and the Sun on the 22^nd. Mercury nd Venus pair up for the rest of the month, a wonderful combination for communication and creative, inspired thinking. Amazing, huh? The Sagittarius new moon on the 23^rd brings some hopefulness your way.  VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) We are in a serious season of crazy right now, but you knew that.  You just have to get through the first half of November without your Virgo nerves exploding  over what’s happening in the world, and you’ll be okay.  Thing are very tense right now, and will get moreso as tension builds towards the Taurus full moon and lunar eclipse on November 8^th.  This full moon is momentous, explosive, unpredictable since it falls on a trigger point of the earth axis and lines up quite exactly with Uranus, Mercury and the North Node.  Saturn and Venus are also in the mix. The reason it feels like everything is at stake right now – life, death, democracy, basic human rights, climate – is because it is.  You need to use the Taurus energy to stay grounded and focused on real world matters, and not spin out with worry.  Remember that Uranus can bring liberation and all the Scorpio energy in the sky can bring transformation.   In addition, Mars is retrograde in Gemini , adding to the uncertainty and confusion and exaggerating the misinformation.  Focus on your creative practices, and hold tight til the planets start moving into Sagittarius mid month.
