CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)   Happy New Year!  Most of January plays to your strengths—sensible movement forward, goal-setting, grounded decision-making.  Jupiter and Saturn move in tandem for most of the month, bringing grounded leadership and wisdom. Enjoy it. The month kicks off with Venus and the North Lunar Node stimulating some processing with loved ones about communication.  Mercury in your own sign catches up to Pluto on the 5^th for a few days of deep mental work. Monitor your paranoia, and avoid social media.   Mars moves into Taurus on the 6^th, and on the 8^th, Venus enters Capricorn while Mercury enters Aquarius.  Ooh—many of the planets are now in air and earth signs, kind of a weird combination, but practical. By the

10^th Mercury and Mars get into angles with Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. You’re busy and thinking grand thoughts, feeling expansive and visionary.  Use the Capricorn new moon on the 13^th to plan and generate work.  The Saturn Mars aspects are very strong on this moon, emphasizing planning, focus, and heavy lifting in the work department.   The Capricorn Sun is conjunct Pluto that day, adding to the overall commitment  you’re feeling to move things forward in your life.  Jupiter is in the mix with Saturn and Mars, adding to the potency.  Then things get very interesting the week of the 17^th, when Jupiter makes a strong angle to Mars and Uranus in Taurus.  Watch out—your force field is bigger than you realize.  You want to stir things up, and Jupiter magnifies your impact.  The Sun enters Aquarius on  the 19^th,  adding to the pileup of celestial bodies in Aquarius. By the 24^th the Sun catches up to Saturn and they both make an angle to Uranus.  (This is the first of many contacts this year between Saturn and Uranus!) Yow!  Saturn and Uranus bring visionary structural change.  Your usual Capricorn conservatism goes out the window, and you are inclined to consider more radical solutions.  Go for it – you would never throw the proverbial baby out with the bathwater. AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  What a month!!  So many planets moving into Aquarius….  January begins with that juicy Jupiter Saturn conjunction in the early degrees of your sign.  It is a great time for you to envision the future, your future.  It is a great time to embrace your wisdom and experience, and celebrate them.  By the 5^th we have a couple of days of a paranoid little Mercury -Pluto transit.  Stay away from social media!  Mars enters Taurus on the 6^th, and Mercury enters Aquarius on the 8^th, adding to the pileup in Aquarius. The week of the 10^th Mars gets involved in the Jupiter Saturn mashup—so you are able to put plans into action.  By the  13^th, the day of the extremely productive Capricorn new moon, Mars squares Saturn and Jupiter squares Uranus.  If there ever were a new moon on which to make plans, this is it:  you are focused, strategic,

visionary, able to sort the wheat from the chaff like nobody’s business.   By the week of the 17^th Mars moves forward, more in line with Jupiter and Uranus than Saturn.  This brings some powerful, unexpected energy your way. See where it takes you! The Sun enters your own sign on the 19^th, and by the 23^rd it joins up with Saturn and they both make an angle to Uranus. PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  Ring in the new year!  Jupiter and Saturn continue to move in tandem this month, giving you the capacity to make decisions and even begin to imagine that there will be a future in which you can see people in person and hug them again.  January 5^th brings a quick-moving transit of Mercury to Pluto, and you’re thinking deeply and feeling some old angst surface.  No worries, it passes quickly.  By the 6^th Mars enters Taurus after a very long stretch in Aries and on the 8^th Venus enters Capricorn and Mercury enters Aquarius.  Earth and air, earth and air.  That’s a funny combination of elements, putting a focus on the concrete along with the visionary.  The week of the 10^th is intense, as Mars makes an angle to Saturn and Jupiter to Uranus – but they are all close enough to be operating together.  Yowza!  That is a lot of movement forward, a lot of inspired energy, a lot of work, especially on the very productive new moon in Capricorn on the 13^th.  Use this moon to generate plans and ideas– it is especially potent, especially since the Capricorn Sun and Moon also line up with Pluto.  Go ahead and move some mountains.  The week of the 17^th has Mars catch up to Uranus in Taurus and they both square Jupiter in Aquarius.  Jupiter and Uranus bring a sense of possibility, of openings–  as well as the unexpected –and Mars puts a lot of oomph into it. ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  January brings in the sea change we have been waiting for.  Jupiter and Saturn move as a pair for most of the month, bringing a sense of grounded leadership and experience.  Of course there will be blips – one such blip occurs on the 5^th and 6^th when Mercury lines up with Pluto for a couple days of paranoia.  It passes quickly. Mars enters Taurus on the 6^th after a months and months of being in Aries.  On the 8^th Venus enters Capricorn and Mercury enters Aquarius.   So much planetary energy in earth and air really puts the focus on how to make our vision more concrete.  The week of the 10^th  Mercury and Mars  make angles to Saturn and Jupiter, giving you  a great deal of mental energy. TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  This month Jupiter and Saturn continue their march forward, hand in hand.  They bring a sense of groundedness your way.  Keep in mind that as a fixed sign—especially if you’re an early Taurus- all the planets moving through Aquarius and Taurus will trigger you mightily at some point in their travels.   Jupiter and Saturn are in Aquarius and Mars enters Taurus on the 6th after an endless eon in Aries.  Mercury enters Aquarius on the 8^th.   Uranus is in your sign of Taurus.  So yes—these planets will be having an impact on you.  Additionally this month most of the planets are in earth and air signs (Venus joins the fun and enters Capricorn on the 8^th).  Earth and air are a bit odd together, but this month they are a fitting combination, inspiring you to make your vision very concrete. GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  Happy new year!  Jupiter and Saturn pair up together as they move forward in early Aquarius this month, bringing a sense of groundedness and responsibility.  All the planetary energy in air and earth signs are stimulating and grounding for you.  Mercury makes a quick pass past Pluto the 5^th and 6^th, kicking up some angst.  Remember – that angst is so last year. Don’t fret.  Mars enters Taurus on the 6^th,  Venus enters Capricorn on the 8^th  and Mercury enters Aquarius on the 8^th as well.  Like I said—earth and air, earth and air. Weird but okay. It is all sharp edges up against your watery sensitive self.  Nonetheless all this Aquarian energy is bringing you a sense that you can look forward to the future.
