AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  This is a jackpot month for you!February begins with the Aquarius Sun catching up to Jupiter for a few days, and they both make a busy angle to Mars.  You are a powerhouse of activity and completion—are we surprised?  No, not with so much energy moving in your own sign. Sun, Mars, and Jupiter bring energy and purpose, and damn, honey, you’re getting a lot done.  Just to add to the pileup of planets in Aquarius, Venus moves into Aquarius on the 1^st.  Don’t forget that Mercury—also in your sign—is moving retrograde so be sure to go with the flow instead of your to-do list.  And keep in mind that Saturn in Aquarius makes an angle to Uranus in Taurus all month long. This influence will dominate the spring, posing vision against tradition, the future against the past. But this month there is so much Aquarian energy bursting forth that you can’t be stopped from hurling yourself into the future, into new possibilities. Just be careful to not get caught up in false dichotomies.  Either/or thinking is not the way to go right now.  But back to the planetary details… The Sun and Mars move in a pretty close angle to each other for a solid week, so you are productive and active.  Don’t overdo it with those hand weights–  the Sun and Mars can surface some physical vulnerability, mostly because your physical body is moving  faster than you realize. Then on the 17^th Venus in Aquarius makes an angle to Mars in Taurus for a good solid week of shared purpose. Enjoy it. The Sun enters Pisces on the 18^th, and Mercury turns direct on the 20^th.  Jupiter moves onto the earth axis, bringing a visionary global shift.  The Virgo full moon falls on the 27^th, near months end.  This is the calmest full moon we’ve seen in a while…whew!  It will illuminate where you need to come into balance.

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  This month brings so many planets in Aquarius  that you can’t help but spend too much time in your head.. Be careful with that!  Keep in mind that the backdrop of the entire month is the Saturn Uranus square, which sets up an extreme polarity between moving forward and seeming to regress.  You are confused about the whiplash of can I be hopeful? Yes? No?  This is still a time of tremendous possibility, so go with that and avoid angst. By the 17^th Venus – yes, also in Aquarius—makes an angle to Mars for a good solid week. Thus pretty transit  is about working together in shared purpose, so it’s a good time to move forward with a collaboration. Then the Sun enters your sign of Pisces on the 18^th —  whew, finally some water!  Mercury turns around on the 20^th, back to its regular self.  Venus pulls away from its square to Mars and enters Pisces on the 25^th, just in time for the Virgo full moon on the 27^th.  Get yourself to the studio and make some art!

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  February brings us the Saturn-Uranus angle in full force – things seem like they are moving forward with all kinds of vision and possibility, and then there are the obstacles that prevent progress.  Learn to live with this tension—it will go on a few months. The month begins with the Sun and Jupiter in Aquarius in an aspect to Mars . Ooh, what a busy combination!  It’s a good time to for you to get to work and get things done.  Just don’t forget that Mercury is retrograde in Aquarius, and so miscommunication and misunderstandings could plague you for the next couple of weeks. Speaking of Mercury retrograde, it crosses paths with the Aquarius Sun on the 8^th for a couple of days, so its influence will be particularly strong and, dare I say it, annoying.  The new moon in Aquarius falls on the 11^th with a beautiful Venus Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius (yup, just about everything is in Aquarius this month.) It is a great time for visioning, grounded in values of care for the planet and all humanity.  As for all those planets in Aquarius, they conspire to keep you up in your head. You’re filled with ideas and opinions.  The Saturn Uranus square in effect this month makes for a potentially polarizing backdrop, so avoid dogma.  Then Mercury catches up to Jupiter a few days later on the 14^th, easing whatever communication difficulties you might be having. TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  Well, there is an absolute pigpile of planets in Aquarius this month, and as a fixed sign like Taurus, you all have a special relationship with each other.  So expect to experience these Aquarian energies coming at you from the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter as a nudge, or even a trigger, as those planets make angles to yours.  Aquarius is all about visionary change, so if that is your jam, you’ll be fine; just be sure to avoid struggles over ideology.  Also keep in mind that  Saturn’s angle to Uranus in Taurus is very close this month, so the tension between moving forward and the stasis of the status quo is very pronounced. GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  Well, you are likely to enjoy the pileup of planets in Aquarius this month —  Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn.  Yes, that’s a lot of provocative airy energy interacting with your Gemini self!  Aquarius attaches itself to ideas, while Gemini revels in their diversity.  You may try to dig your heels into beliefs or ideas, but be careful of digging in too hard!  Keep in mind that the Saturn-Uranus aspect is very close this month, throwing more tension into the mix about what you can believe in and what you can’t .  Can you be hopeful or does pessimism rule? CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  Well, well.  Let me just say that there is a ton of action in Aquarius this month—Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn.  That’s a lot, and Aquarius is one of two signs that tweak your watery Cancerian self like crazy (the other is Sagittarius).  It is an air sign, and fixed air at that, and it rubs you the wrong way—all sharp edges of ideas.  So expect to feel a bit agitated and flummoxed this month, at least until 3 weeks in when we get more Pisces energy. VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)   This month, you may have to take pains to stay unruffled in the face of so many planets in Aquarius, a sign that is not particularly compatible with you. LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  There are so many planets in Aquarius this month that your brain will be firing on more cylinders than you knew it had… The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn. SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)   There are so many planets in freedom-loving Aquarius this month, all triggering you and making your cabin fever worse, sorry to say. Aquarius is a fellow fixed sign, with a big relationship to your Scorpio self, stimulating and also sometimes irritating.
