PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  Yes, Mercury is still  retrograde, just to add to the uncertainty and confusion gripping the planet… There is something about this Mercury retro in Pisces that feels like it’s been going on for several eons.  Don’t worry, it ends soon-ish, on the 9th.  And its vibe will change a bit starting on the 4th, when it inches back into Aquarius.  Venus enters Taurus also on the 4th and quite immediately catches up to Uranus for a few days of inspiration.  Enjoy it if you can—the week ahead is mighty strange, as we approach the Virgo full moon on the 9th. The full moon lines up exactly with Neptune, your ruling planet. And, Mercury turns direct on the 9th as well, adding to the mess.  Global anxiety about the coronavirus will be off the charts, and you will need to do everything – I repeat, everything—in your power to not lose your Piscean mind.  Then things calm down quite a bit for you.  By the 15th  Mars in Capricorn catches up to Jupiter, which is already sitting very close to Pluto.  This juicy combination of Jupiter and Pluto is all about planning and development.  The Jupiter-Pluto effect lasts the entire second half of the month, and Mars’ involvement lasts a good 10 days or so.  If you have ideas in the works, now is the time to turn them into plans, especially relating to those Capricorn things like land and home and money.  The Spring Equinox falls late on the 19th, and the Sun moves into Aries. Saturn moves into Aquarius on the 21st. Times -they-are-a-changing. You have more of a sense of direction and purpose. Take advantage of the new moon in Aries and all the Capricorn action to focus and take care of business.  By the 30th Mars enters Aquarius and joins up with Saturn.  It’s nose to the grindstone time!

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces, and global uncertainty and epidemic panic will grow more extreme over the next week.  Keep a cool head, and use Mercury retrograde to stay in the dreamtime because the real world is just too much of a drag right now.  Although Mercury sneaks into Aquarius on the 4th, it doesn’t turn direct til the 9th, the same day as a full moon in Virgo with a major aspect to Neptune.  Between now and the 9th everyone will be an anxious mess.  But Venus enters Taurus also on the 4th, and quite quickly joins up with Uranus.  That is a pretty combination, good for love and art and inspiration.  Things start shifting after the full moon. For one thing, Jupiter and Pluto team up in Capricorn for the last half of the month, and Mars joins in the fun for about 10 days starting on the 15th.   This deliciously earthy lineup makes it possible for you to develop fruitful plans—especially about land, real estate, commerce, and sustainability.  And—the Sun enters Aries late on the 19th, marking the Spring Equinox.  It’s your time, baby. The Aries new moon falls on the 24th, so it is a great time for you to harness that earthy Mars-Jupiter-Pluto energy.  Oh, and did I mention that Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st? Yes!  We get a small break in the Capricorn action, and let’s hope Aquarius brings us some humanistic values.   By the 30th, Mars enters Aquarius and joins up with Saturn. This aspect can feel stressful but it is an excellent combo for hard work.  Build a stone wall or something!!

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  Just hold on, you still have a few days of Mercury retrograde to get through…. (After all, how many times can a Taurus lose their keys?!)  Deep breaths, though – the next several days will be especially crazy.  Global panic about the coronavirus is running high, thanks to the upcoming full moon in Virgo on the 9th which lines up exactly with Neptune.  And Mercury turns direct on the 9th as well, just adding to impact of that full moon.  Meanwhile I do have some good news for you: your ruling planet Venus—which is so big and gorgeous in the western night sky this month–  enters Taurus on the 4th and quite immediately catches up to Uranus.  Ooh la la!  That is exciting and boundary-busting and creative and romantic all at once. Enjoy that, and ignore the global angst.  Things really shift in the middle of the month.  For one thing, Jupiter catches up to Pluto in Capricorn by the 15th and that aspect dominates the second half of March.  Mars gets into the action on the 15th for a good 10 days.  This adds up to a lot of earthy planets in the sky, together with Venus and Uranus.  Because you are you, you are engaged in taking care of the planet, of organizations, of your garden,  of your home and everyone in it, of your art.  This Mars-Jupiter -Pluto lineup is wonderful for planning and development, especially regarding earthy subjects such as work, money, land, and housing. Jupiter and Pluto have a lot to do with sustainability.  Enjoy.  The Spring Equinox comes late on the 19th when the Sun enters Aries.  Our friend Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st  bringing a whole new vibe– whew. The Aries new moon falls on the 24th and you should use it for planning. The month ends with Mars entering Aquarius on the 30th and joining up with Saturn for a few days of stress and hard work.

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  Change may be in the air, but things are still mighty weird–   anxiety producing, but in a different way.  Your ruling planet Mercury is still retrograde. We just have several more endless eons to go – actually, just a few days.  It turns direct on the 9th, the same day as the Virgo full moon. This full moon is a whopper, because it falls exactly opposite Neptune in Pisces.  The global panic about the coronavirus will reach a fever pitch – just a little joke there. Expect to be unsettled and weird at least until the 9th.  The good news is that Venus enters Taurus on the 4th and catches up to Uranus for a few days of exciting inspiration.  Just tune out the angst and focus on art or romance.  Things shift towards the middle of the month.  Jupiter spends the second half of March hanging out with Pluto in Capricorn, and Mars gets in the action on the 15th for about 10 days.  Wow—this is a big pileup of very earthy, productive energy.  It’s time to get serious about planning for change and developing new projects. This combination really favors things that have to do with land, resources, money, housing, work, sustainability.  Use the second half if the month to really dig into these things and make some changes and commitments, especially on the Aries new moon on the 24th.  Meanwhile… the Sun enters Aries on the 19th ushering in the Spring Equinox.  Saturn moves out of Capricorn and into Aquarius, bringing a whole new vibe of humanism (we hope!).  The month ends with Mars entering Aquarius on the 30th and joining up with Saturn for a few days of pressure and crankiness. But you’ll get a lot done!

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  Mmm- hmmm. This is still a weird time, just a different flavor of weird.  Mercury is retrograde until the 9th, which is also the date of the Virgo full moon, which packs a punch since it lines up exactly with Neptune in Pisces. Things will be uncertain and unsettled til then, and everyone will be anxious.  Sensitive soul that you are, you need to lay low and take care of yourself.  At least Venus enters Taurus on the 4th and meets up with Uranus; this juicy combination brings creative inspiration and vision, and perhaps some romance.  Mid-month the energies shift—for real.  Jupiter in Capricorn catches up to Pluto for the second half of the month, and let me assure you that Jupiter- Pluto feels very different from the past year of Saturn – Pluto.  Jupiter and Pluto are about planning and development. Mars in Capricorn gets into the action for about 10 days starting on the 15th, so this is a nice pileup of planets in your opposite sign of Capricorn.  Take advantage of this earthiness, and make some plans and changes about housing, money, resources, work, sustainability.  It’s a great time for that, especially on the Aries new moon on the 24th.  And, speaking of Aries—the Sun enters Aries on the 19th, ushering in the Spring Equinox.  Yay!  Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st, also ushering in the new and different.  Mars enters Aquarius on the 30th, joining up with Saturn for a few days of very hard work.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)  Well, things still feel weird,  but at least they are different!  Mercury is still retrograde and turns around on the 9th, the day of the whopping full moon in Virgo.   The run-up to this full moon will be crazy, with the public’s anxiety levels off the charts.  Blame that on Neptune, which falls in exact opposition to the full moon on the 9th.   But your life is in for some different dynamics, that’s for sure.  Venus enters Taurus on the 4th and quite quickly joins forces with Uranus for a few days of creative stimulation.  Mercury retrograde sneaks into the end of Aquarius also on the 4th.  So-  you are getting some action in your fellow fixed signs of Taurus and Aquarius, with more to come this month.  Just work hard at staying calm through the 9th, and then you can relax a bit.  Jupiter in Capricorn catches up to Pluto the second half of March, and Mars gets in the mix starting on the 15th for about 10 days.  This aspect feels quite different form the heavy Saturn Pluto influence which—believe it or not—is waning.  Jupiter, Pluto, and Mars in Capricorn will help you make decisions and plans, and develop them into something concrete , especially in the realm of work, business, resources, housing, real estate – and sustainability.  Use these energies to get something going for yourself, and the Aries new moon on the 24th will give you an extra nudge.  Ooh—by the way, the Sun enters Aries on the 19th, ushering in the Spring Equinox.  Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st, and I’m hoping that ushers in some humanistic values. Mars enters Aquarius on the 30th and pairs up with Saturn.  Expect to be aggravated !

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  Oh honey. Your ruling planet Mercury is still  retrograde, and until the 4th its motion has been in Pisces, just aggravating the hell out of you.  To make matters worse – or at least more complicated—Mercury turns direct on the 9th, the same day as the Virgo full moon.  You can expect to be edgy and anxious the closer we get to that full moon, especially since it lines up in a perfect opposition to Neptune in Pisces.  The panic about the corona virus outbreak will just keep ramping up, thanks to Neptune.  Stay calm if you can, and in Virgo style, you’re developing your own anti-infection protocols. Try to enjoy the preponderance of planets in earth signs. Venus enters Taurus on the 4th and quickly catches up to Uranus for a few days of fun and creativity.  The good news this month is that the planetary energies really do start to shift.  Jupiter in Capricorn joins Pluto the second half of the month. Mars in Capricorn gets in on the action starting on the 15th.  This earthy lineup is about development and planning, especially in regard to resources, housing, land, and sustainability.  Use this period to make some plans and decisions.  The Sun enters Aries on the 19th – yay!—spring! Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st, ushering in humanistic values, or at least this astrologer hopes so.  The Aries new moon on the 24th is powerful and harnesses that Jupiter, Mars, Pluto fruitful, planful energy. Get to work!  Mars enters Aquarius on the 30th, meeting up with Saturn for some days of hard work and focus.  Tackle a big project.

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  Hmm. March starts like a hot mess but gets better in the middle and aggravating at the end.  How’s that for a summary?  Mercury is still retrograde, and will be until March 9, the day of the Virgo full moon. The full moon lines up with Neptune, ramping up everyone’s anxiety about coronavirus and everything else. Allow yourself to tune all of this out and be carried by Mercury retrograde’s dreamtime for the next few days, as well as the Venus-Uranus conjunction which is fun and creative.  After the full moon things start to shift.  Jupiter in Capricorn joins up with Pluto for the second half of the month and Mars gets in on the action starting on the 15th.  This is quite the bundle of earthy joy. Seriously!  It is a great for planning, organizing and development, especially in Capricorn matters of land, resources, housing, money, work – and sustainability. The Sun enters Aries on the 19th and here comes spring. Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st and let’s hope it brings some progressive vision.  The Aries new moon on the 24th amplifies the Mars-Jupiter-Pluto, so definitely take advantage and do some planning.  Keep in mind that Aries is your opposite sign and it should help you harness all the Capricorn stuff.   Mars enters Aquarius on the 30th and joins up with Saturn for a few days of really hard work and perhaps a really bad mood to go with it. Breathe.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  March is an interesting month, as long as you can groove with the rest of Mercury retrograde.  Mercury turns around—finally!- on the 9th, the same day as the Virgo full moon.  The run up to this full moon will be challenging, since the full moon lines up in an opposition to Neptune in Pisces, exaggerating everyone’s fear and panic.  Stay calm, and enjoy Venus, which enters your opposite sign of Taurus on the 4th and quickly catches up to Uranus for a few days of fun and creative expression, and maybe some romance thrown in.  Things shift after the full moon. Jupiter in Capricorn catches up to Pluto for the second half of the month; Mars gets involved in that aspect starting on the 15th.  These three Capricorn planets put the focus on work, resources, money, land, planning and development.  It is a good time to make some decisions about sustainability, and to plan for the future.  Spring comes on the 19th when the Sun enters Aries—yay!  Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st, also bringing in some new and different energy. Things will feel less grim.  The Aries new moon on the 24th is a great one for engaging those planning muscles. Mars enters Aquarius on the 30th and meets up with Saturn.  Avoid arguments and tackle a bear of a task.

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) Well, this month is challenging at the start but then smooths out.  You are a space cadet at the beginning of March.  Mercury is still retrograde after all, and you just want to take a nap until it is over.  It turns direct on the 9th, the same day as the Virgo full moon which has everyone wigged out and panic stricken, thanks to the full moon lining up with Neptune.  You need to ignore that and instead focus on the organizing qualities of Virgo.  It’s time for reorganizing and even home improvements—especially with Venus entering Taurus on the 4th and meeting up with Uranus.  You will do well to attend to your creative self.  The second half of the month is interesting. Jupiter in Capricorn catches up to Pluto for half of March. On the 15th Mars gets in the action for about 10 days.  This bundle of earthy energy is all about planning and development.  Get your ducks in a row, especially in relation to work, schedule, resources, money, land, and sustainability.  The Suh enters Aries on the 19th, ushering in Spring. Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st, perhaps ushering in humanitarian vision.  The Aries new moon on the 24th will be an important one in terms of resource planning. Then Mars moves into Aquarius on the 30th, joining up with Saturn for a few days of crankiness and very hard work.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  This month marks the beginning of the end of the Capricorn dominance  of the sky… and you may feel wistful about that, or perhaps flat-out relieved.  Keep in mind that Mercury is still retrograde, and remains so til the 9th, the day of a whopping Virgo moon. You have a tremendous sense of uncertainty right now, thanks to Mercury and the impending Virgo moon which lines up perfectly with Neptune. You don’t like the uncertainty at all.  Just breathe through it – it will be over soon.  Take solace in all the earthy planets—Venus enters Taurus on the 4th and joins up with Uranus for a few days of fun and romance.  The second half of the month brings more earth your way, as Jupiter in Capricorn joins up with Pluto and then Mars jumps in with them on the 15th for about 10 days.  You are literally in your element with this combination.  It is earthy and grounded, and all about planning and development, especially about land, resources, work, and sustainability. Take the second half of March to really dig into these issues for yourself. The Sun enters Aries on the 19th, bringing in the Spring Equinox. Saturn finally – and briefly— leaves your sign of Capricorn on the 21st and enters Aquarius.  Like I said, you may feel relief!  The Aries new moon falls on the 24th, and the Mars-Jupiter-Pluto energy will be really accessible on that new moon, so use it.  Then Mars also leaves Capricorn and enters Aquarius on the 30th.  It immediately moves onto Saturn for a few days of grumpiness and very hard work.  But you will be feeling a sea change as these planets leave your home sign.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  Well, this is an interesting month!  Some major planets move into your sign of Aquarius, not the least of which are Saturn and Mars later this month. The significant Capricorn dominance weakens by the end of  March, perhaps signifying more progressive, humanistic vision taking hold. We will see. But back to you.  Mercury is still retrograde, and on the 4th it moves from Pisces into Aquarius, which may aggravate the hell out of you until it turns around on the 9th.  Between Mercury retrograde and the upcoming Virgo full moon on the 9th, people are panicked and you are frustrated with their lack of rationality.  Try to stay calm- you just have to get through the full moon, which is extra weird because it lines up with Neptune.  Focus on Venus, which moves into Taurus on the 4th and meets up with Uranus for a few days of fun and creative expression.  The second half of the month is very different and very interesting. Jupiter in Capricorn joins up with Pluto for the duration and Mars gets in on it starting on the 15th for about 10 days.  This earthy combination is all about planning and development, especially concerning resources, land, work and sustainability.  It is an excellent time to be planning and making concrete decisions.  The Sun enters Aries on the 19th and ushers in spring. Saturn enters your own sign of Aquarius on the 21st, and let’s hope it ushers in a new era. The Aries new moon on the 24th will be an important one for harnessing all that Capricorn planning energy.  The Mars enters your sign of Aquarius on the 30th, joining up with Saturn for some hard work. It’s a good time to plan the revolution!
