AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  Although the month starts off with some pressure, it quickly gives way to you being a complete space cadet!   Enjoy it while it lasts.  The  planet Neptune is a big player this month, causing a relaxation  of boundaries.  As Mars, then Mercury, Venus, and finally the Sun each enters Pisces this month, they hang out with Neptune for a bit.  Then they move immediately into angles  to Jupiter and Chiron.  What the heck am I talking about, you wonder….. Here’s what it means: it means fun, and a lot if it, as long as you can live with your normally sharp Aquarian focus being extremely fuzzy around the edges.  By February 3rd you’ll be spaced out and having trouble getting things done, then a few days later you’re still spacey but feeling reallyAquarius good about it. You may even feel purposeful.  The new moon on the 10th is in your own sign (Happy Chinese New Year!), and it is all about intimacy and relationships and having a good time.  You’re in the midst of recommitting to long-standing relationships and kindling new ones.  The new moon facilitates commitment and setting up new structures in some relationships.  Although this is work it won’t feel like work because the other aspects emphasize going with the flow.  By the 16th, Venus in your own sign squares the North Lunar Node and you get another dose of intimacy deliciousness.  You’ll be an uncharacteristic mush between that and the Sun-Neptune conjunction.  Don’t forget that Mercury goes retrograde on the 23rd, so no big decisions, just gather information.  Pay attention to the full moon in Virgo on the 25th and how it illuminates areas in your life where you are feeling really fulfilled, and where you  want to give back.  There is also an important area of your life that needs some healing, and that will become clearer in the two weeks after this full moon.

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  Neptune, your ruling planet, is the dominant influence this month, as every personal planet comes into contact with it in quick succession throughout February. That’s kind of delicious and strange!  Get ready to be a space shot, and to have a really, really good time.  First, Mars enters Pisces and quickly transits Neptune between the 3rd and the 7th.  Forget about being able to concentrate – unless it’s on reruns of The Wire!  Meanwhile Mercury catches up to Neptune on the 6th.  This is all about dreaminess and creativity, feeling like you’re not getting anything done but in fact you are.  Remember that as soon as these planets pass by Neptune they catch up to Jupiter and Chiron.  So there is also a feeling of completion and fulfillment. Be a bit careful of overindulgence – it’s hard to maintain any kind of discipline under these influences.  The new moon in Aquarius on the Pisces10th focusses attention on relationships.  You need something that you may not be getting, and it’s time to ask for it.   By the 16th the aspects are good for making connections with people and excellent for intimacy.   You enter a period of celebration when the Sun enters your sign on the 18th when it is immediately all over Neptune and Jupiter – this is especially so if your birthday falls in the first week of Pisces.  Have a rollicking good time!   Then it’s Mercury retrograde on the 23rd in Pisces – I don’t know about you but Merc retrograde in my own sign is especially draining – so you may feel tired and very spaced out.   Pay attention to the full moon in Virgo on the 25th – it will make you aware of where you are still yearning for fulfillment in your life.   Then Venus enters your own sign and catches up to Neptune, making you all about romantic yearning.

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)   The month begins with work  stress and a sense of pressure, but you just have to give in, give up, let go and let god and all that Neptunian jazz.  Every personal planet out there enters Pisces this month and immediately lands on Neptune, making it impossible to feel like you’re getting anything done.  First, it is Mars, your ruling planet, which enters Pisces and spends time with Neptune between the 2nd and the 8th.  This is a very vague and dispersing  kind of energy, great for creative endeavors of any kind but a bit challenging if you have a to-do list to get through.  The good news is that right after hitting Neptune , Mars – and then Mercury, Sun and Venus–  will immediately make an angle to Jupiter and Chiron.  So the month will have these Arieswaves of vagueness followed by a sense of completion.  Weird, huh?  The new moon in Aquarius on the 10th highlights relationships of all kinds – the Sun and the North Lunar Node will be in the same place and Venus will be conjunct Saturn.  Spend some time reflecting on your emotional commitments; in fact, it is a good time to make some, for the week that begins on the new moon.  We get more Neptune action when the Sun enters Pisces on the 18th – expect a few days of extreme spaciness.  Then Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces on the 23rd, signaling 3 weeks of a deeply intuitive time for you.   The full moon in Virgo on the 25th will highlight an area of your life that needs healing.

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  February is dominated by the influence of Neptune, since every personal planet – Mars, Mercury, the Sun and Venus – all enter Pisces this month and immediately hang out with Neptune. Remember – Neptune is a dissolving influence and it disperses everything it comes into contact with.  At the beginning of February Mars enters Pisces and spends from the 2nd through the 8th in the same spot as Neptune.  Whatever great plans you have, they may get thrown for a loop, since your Taurusshields are down and you don’t even know it.  Expect not to have much control for a few days–  Mars and Neptune are throwing you off-kilter. Watch your immune system and your footing – no slipping on the ice, okay?  But none of this is bad because once Mars leaves Neptune it makes an angle to Jupiter and Chiron, so there is a positive outcome and you achieve some sense of fulfillment.  The new moon on the 10th raises issues of commitment and intimacy.  It’s time to get serious about a person or a project.  The 17th and 18th bring a sense of connection and feeling loved, then here comes Neptune again for a few days, so get ready to be a space shot.  This Neptunian energy is great for artistic expression, for healing, for transcending boundaries. Be careful to keep your head on straight and not be confused or disappointed by others’ actions.  Then Mercury goes retrograde on the 23rd – in Pisces.   Dreamtime on crack.   Use the full moon on the 25th to illuminate an area of your life where you’re seeking fulfillment.

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  Forget about getting anything done the during most of the first week of February, sweetheart.  It all has to do with Neptune, and you will be riding Neptune’s waves all month long, since every personal planet comes into contact with it this month…  If you were born during the first week of Gemini this will hit you especially intensely since you’re under Neptune’s influence anyway, so really forget about it. Fuhgeddaboutit.  Here’s how it goes —  Mars enters Pisces and spends from the 2nd through the 8th with  Neptune, Mercury enters Pisces on the 5th and quickly catches up to Mars and Neptune.  Everything feels like it slips through your fingers this week – that’s just how it is.  But somehow things get done and you end up feeling good, because right after Mars leaves Neptune it comes into an angle with Jupiter and Chiron. So go have fun.  Then the new moon on Geminithe 10th will surface some feelings about commitment and intimacy. It may feel chunky for a few days but then, Venus catches up to the North Lunar Node and you feel connected and part of the world again.  Then here comes another wave of Neptunian vagueness oncve the Sun enters Neptune on the 18th.  Keep your shields up and your immunity strong because you’re a bit vulnerable.  Then Mercury goes retrograde on the 23rd in Pisces. Nice for dreaming, for going with the flow.  The full moon in Virgo on the 25th will illuminate some area of your life where you seek fulfillment, or, where you have it and don’t yet know it….

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JUL 21)  February is a bit odd with the Aquarian Sun contrasting with many planets in Pisces for a good part of the month.  Your clarity of mind will inevitably give way to Neptunian murk this month, and there ain’t nothing you can do about it.   In fact, you have to really allow yourself to be in water mode.  Every personal planet moves into Pisces this month and immediately catches up to Neptune.  It is as if you are surfing waves of vague yet powerful feelings about things, and then the wave crashes and you feel great, all focused and purposeful.  This is how it will go all month long, beginning with the Mars Neptune conjunction form the 2nd through the 8th, with Mercury getting in there too on the 5th.  Neptune is a dissolving influence, so all Cancerthese Piscean planets in combination with Neptune make you very creative and inspired, perhaps sad around the edges.  You’re under the ocean, and you like that but it’s also intense.  You have to just body surf your way through the month.  (“Catch a wave and you’re sittin’ on top of the world,” as the Beach Boys sang.)  There is a new moon in Aquarius on the 10th which is all about intimacy and relationship, and specifically about commitment.  It’s a good time to look at commitment, perhaps deepen it.  Get ready for Mercury retrograde (in Pisces, dare I say it…) which occurs on the 23rd.  You’ll have a very dreamy time. The full moon on the 25th is in Virgo and illuminates issues of fulfillment. Something  — a situation, a relationship — needs to be healed, and you will see it clearly.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21This is an utterly strange month for youI don’t mean bad, just odd.  It’s that the Sun and Venus are in Aquarius for most of the month but all the other personal planets are in Pisces – a sign that is not easy for you.  Not only are Mars, Mercury, the Sun, and Venus moving into Pisces at some point this month, but they all immediately land on Neptune, the planet that is said to rule Pisces.  So it is like Pisces on crack for you this month – water, water everywhere, and  nary a drop to drink…..  Even though Mercury doesn’t go retrograde til the 23rd, you have to kinda be in Mercury retrograde mode all month.  Pisces and the Neptunian influences are dissolving, dissipating forces, making it hard to hold onto things.  You may have trouble focusing.  Things may happen that interfere with your plans, especially at the beginning of the month when Mars and then Mercury enter Pisces and catch up to Neptune.  Your shields are down, and you don’t quite realize it.  So all you can do is go with the flow of this energy because it is fabulously creative and takes you into unexpected places.  And – once all these planets cross over Neptune they come into contact with Jupiter and Chiron, giving you some fun and a sense of fulfillment.   On February 10th there is a new moon in Aquarius which will highlight issues of commitment for you—to relationships, places, things.  It’s a good time for  looking at your commitments.  Then there are more vague and slippery Neptunian days around the 18th, before Mercury goes retrograde on the 23rd.  The full moon in Virgo on the 25th illuminates where you need fulfillment.

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  This is a HUGE month for you to let go of control and go with a sense of moving with the great watery currents of your life….. You got that?  Here it is:  almost every personal planet moves into Pisces this month, and when it does the planet immediately gets close to Neptune, Pisces’ ruler.  Let’s start with Mars who moves across Neptune from the 2nd til the 8th. Mercury gets in there on the 5th.  The Sun moves into Pisces on the 18th, and Venus at the end of the month.  Pisces is your opposite sign, so it is very important for you.  It dissolves everything you put into beautiful order and yet it has a beauty of its own. So this month you have to go with the flow of it, as it dissolves, disperses, dissipates.  That means that you will feel like you’re accomplishing nothing on that list of yours for the first week of the month. It also means that you are a bit vulnerable, and your Virgophysical immunity may be susceptible.  Be careful about the flu or about falling on the ice. But then some nice Jupiter aspects kick in and all is right with the world.  The new moon on the 10th highlights issues of relationship and connection It is a good time to look at commitment.  The Sun enters Pisces on the 18th, and you get a  few more days of spaciness and lack of focus…Ride it out, and remember that Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces on the 23rd.  If you were born around Sept 10-12, Mercury retrogrades right on your Sun, so expect some things not to go as you planned on the 23rd… Stay especially close to your intuition during this pass of Mercury retrograde.  There is a big full moon in Virgo on the 25th  that is all about getting some clarity about areas of your life that need fulfillment.  Then Venus and Neptune will help you get there at the end of the month.

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  Well, let me say that February does present some challenges, and all of them involve Pisces and its ruling planet Neptune…..The month starts off with some intense work pressure, and you’re actually feeling pretty comfortable with that. But then by the 3rd — WTF! all of a sudden you feel as though you cant get anything done. Your focus just slips away and all you can do is watch reruns of Charmed.  Better go with it because there is nothing you can do.  And it isn’t forever, just for a few days, until Mars leaves its conjunction with Neptune and catches up to an angle with Jupiter and all feels right with the world Libraagain.  There is a new moon in Aquarius on the 10th. This is an interesting one which is all about relationships and commitment.  It’s a good time to reflect on commitments and perhaps deepen them. This new moon is followed by some very positive interactions with friends and loved ones.  But get ready for more Neptune action and things get vague and weird again on the 18th, when the Sun enters Pisces and catches up to Neptune.  Pisces is just not an easy sign for you – where you seek clarity and some – please god–healthy boundaries, Pisces makes things murky and dissolves those boundaries.  So you’re a mess, honey.  You don’t know whether you’re coming or going.   Just go with it, and especially so when Mercury goes retrograde on the 23rd – yes, in Pisces.  Serious dreamtime.  Nice full moon in Virgo on the 25th, though, with quite delightful Jupiter aspects.  Looks like fulfillment to me.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  This month is all about dreaming.   It is about allowing yourself to go with the flow of your intuition and inspiration.   Neptune is the dominant planet, and Pisces is the dominant sign this month…even though the Sun remains in Aquarius til the 18th.   Every personal planet stumbles across Neptune when it enters Pisces, and so Neptune’s diffuse, dissolving energy makes everyone kinda loopy and vague this month —  including you.  It is great for creative and psychic

Scorpio Funny

work, for transcending the boundaries of just about everything.  Be careful to keep some boundaries intact so that you don’t take on everyone else’s stuff.  But there is a big dose of Aquarius on the 10th when we have the new moon along with a Venus-Saturn square.  This makes you all serious about relationships and commitment.  Time to ask for what you need.  Then you actually may receive it a few days later when Venus catches up to the North Lunar Node. Nice!  Another wave of Neptunian mush hits when the Sun enters Pisces on the 18th, and you are dreamy, charismatic, enigmatic and no one can stay away.   Mercury in Pisces goes retrograde onthe 23rd, and quite frankly, all the watery Piscean energy all month will make Mercury retrograde feel less noticeable to you – except the day it turns which will be a big pain in the neck.   Then the full moon in Virgo on the 25th highlights issues about fulfillment – what do you really want? What needs healing in your life?  Venus catches up with Neptune at the end and you will find yourself yearning for things to be different.

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)  All the fabulous focus that you experienced in January goes up in a wisps of Neptunian smoke this month, and there is nothing you can do but go with it. The thing is – you will still get things done, but in a go with the flow kinda way. It is just that February brings us waves of Neptunian vagueness and things spinning out of control. This is because

just about every personal planet enters Pisces at some point this month and transits Neptune.  Right after Neptune the planets make an angle to

SagittariusJupiter and Chiron, so there is a lot going on about expansion and fulfillment as well.  February begins with Mars andNeptune making it impossible for you to harness your will or focus – frustrating indeed.  But guess what? It passes, and you’re inspired and things are cooking with gas again.  Use the new moon in Aquarius on the 10th to articulate new commitments – this is a great lunation for tackling relationships and partnerships.   Then there’s another wave of Neptunian diffusion once the Sun enters Pisces on the 18th – especially if your birthday is in the first week of Sag. You’re likely to be a space cadet, or to not have good shields up. Watch your immunity and make sure you don’t get sick.  Then Mercury in Pisces goes retrograde on the 23rd – remember, this is  a very dreamy Mercury retrograde, and all of your ideas are coming from a very deep place.  The full moon in Virgo on the 25th illuminates issues about completion – something has come full circle.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  If January was about action for you then February is about feeling connected and inspired.  The dominant energy is Neptune, since every personal planet enters Pisces this month and immediately transits Neptune.  All this Piscean water just douses the vision of Aquarius and puts everything onto the plane of emotion.  So get ready to be a mush.  You will be awash in sensitivity and feelings whenever one of these Neptunian waves hits you, beginning with the start of the month when CapricornMars and Mercury spend some time with Neptune.  Neptune dissolves boundaries – it is a dissipating energy, so you can expect to get nothing done during the first week of the month. Or shall I say, you will get nothing done by checking things off of a list.  It is more a matter of going with the flow and letting the rhythms take you…  especially since they will anyway!  But there is a good reflective new moon in Aquarius on the 10th which highlights the relationships and commitments.  It’s a good time to ask for what you need.  Then we get more Neptunian unsettledness on the 18th once the Sun enters Pisces.   Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces on the 23rd – again, you must go with the flow. This is a very intuitive and dreamy Mercury retrograde, although the start of it might be really prblematioc for technology and misunderstandings.  The full moon on the 25th is in Virgo, making angles to Jupiter and Chiron.  This is a powerfully healing full moon for you!
