ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  April is an interesting month (and don’t you hate it when I say that?!) Neptune entered your sign of Aries on March 30th for the first time since 1862.  Interesting, right?   You will be even more inspired than usual to focus on self-expression. Mercury and Venus, both still retrograde, have moved from Aries back into Pisces, and they move in tandem through the 12th.  They are a convivial pair, but this month they line up with Saturn, making communication a bit difficult. And yes, back up that hard drive.  Mercury does turn direct on the 7th, and Venus continues its retrograde til the 12th. However, Venus really sits with Saturn in Pisces all month long, which could make you withhold  resources and emotion, so watch that. April 12th brings a big full moon in Libra that falls on a trigger point for the earth, along with your pal Neptune.  Expect to be vague and unsettled, as the global uncertainty continues. Mars leaves Cancer and enters Leo on the 16th and immediately opposes Pluto in early Aquarius. A few days later on the 19th, the Sun enters Taurus and makes a potent angle to Mars and Pluto.   It is a good time for community organizing and resistance !  It is also a time when you could throw your weight around without realizing it.  The month ends with a delicious new moon in Taurus  on the 27th, a new moon for planning and planting.

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  The planetary uncertainty continues and even worsens this month, since Neptune, newly in Aries, sits on a global trigger point. Meanwhile Mercury is still retrograde, as is Venus, and they both have moved back into Pisces.  I think they are usually a convivial pair, but they have moved smack on top of Saturn in Pisces, and that complicates things.  Communication and tech could be very weird at least until April  7 when Mercury turns direct, so be sure to back up your hard drive. However, Venus sits with Saturn all month long, staying retrograde til the 12th, then turning direct and parking next to Saturn the whole time.  This is a good combination for commitment and also retrenchment.  Venus retrograde hopefully clarifies your true desires, and Saturn’s presence should allow you to set firmer boundaries and actually say no to some things.  Expect economic stress because of this Saturn-Venus combination.  There is a Libra full moon on the 12th that makes an angle to Neptune on the world axis, really ramping up global uncertainty.  You’ll be feeling world events even more deeply than usual.  On the 16th Mars enters Leo and moves into an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. A few days later on the 19th the Sun enters your sign of Taurus. Yay!  But hold on—the Sun moves into a feisty angle to Mars and Pluto, surfacing some power struggles.  Be careful of arguments.  It is a great time for resistance and community organizing—just be careful!  The Sun spends about a week in a square to Mars—you might be vulnerable to physical injury during this period.  No pulled  muscles, okay?  Then the month ends with a beautiful and productive new moon in Taurus on the 27th. Repot your plants.  By the 30th Venus is within spitting distance of Neptune, inspiring your creativity.

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  April begins with Neptune just having entered Aries on March 20 for the first time since 1862. Neptune spends the month parked on top of a trigger point for the world, so expect more global uncertainty and weirdness. Your ruling planet Mercury remains retrograde til the 7th, but right now it is moving in tandem with Venus retrograde and they both have moved into Pisces.  That’s usually a chatty and fun combination but they have landed right on top of Saturn, which changes the dynamic.  Communication might go from friendly to tense in the first week of April.  After Mercury moves away we are left with Venus and Saturn sitting together all month, with Venus turning from retrograde to direct on the 12th.  Venus and Saturn are about commitment and also about withdrawal of commitment,  a kind of emotional belt-tightening.  Speaking of belt tightening, I imagine we all will be doing that this month when it comes to money… Just sayin.   There is a Libra full moon also on the 12th and it lines up with Neptune. Expect things to feel really weird and unsettling.  Then on the 16th Mars enters Leo and opposes Pluto – a good combination for protest and resistance, especially once the Sun enters Taurus on the 19th and joins the  Mars – Pluto party. Could be an explosive few days.  The month ends with a very pretty Taurus new moon on the 27th, a great lunation for planting your garden.

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  Well, April is an interesting month!  First of all, Neptune has just entered Aries and spends the entire month sitting on the 0-degrees Aries point, a major trigger point for world events.  So I am sorry to say that the sense of uncertainty and insecurity will continue pretty much unabated.  The good news is that Venus remains retrograde till the 12th, and I always think Venus retrograde can bring clarity.  However, the Venus situation is complex this month.   First of all,  Mercury retrograde has caught up with Venus and they both have re-entered Pisces where they meet up with Saturn.   Mercury, Venus and Saturn hang out together til Mercury turns direct on the 7th and starts moving away, but Venus is with Saturn all month long.  Expect communication to get chunky the first week of April.  The Venus Saturn effect is about commitment, values, and relationships. You might get very clear about places where your needs are not being met, and you will be inclined to set some limits.  The Libra full moon falls on the same day Venus turns from retrograde to direct, and the full moon makes an angle to Neptune.  You will likely be extra sensitive and feeling in need of safety.  Then on the 16th Mars enters Leo and opposes Pluto for a good few days of willfulness and struggle. Get out there and protest!  The Sun enters Taurus on the 19th and gets into an angle to Mars and Pluto, ramping up everyone’s overall frustration. Beware of confrontation. The month ends with a beautiful new moon in Taurus on the 7th

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)   Ooh things get even weirder this month since Neptune, which just entered  Aries, sits on a global trigger point. Meanwhile Mercury is still retrograde, as is Venus, and they both have moved back into Pisces.  Usually Venus and Mercury are fun and convivial but they have moved smack onto Saturn in Pisces, which puts a damper on the fun, for sure. Communication and tech could go very sideways at least until April  7 when Mercury turns direct, so be sure to back up your hard drive. However, Venus sits with Saturn all month long, staying retrograde til the 12th, then turning direct and parked next to Saturn the whole time.  This is a good combination for commitment and reevaluation of your own needs.  Venus retrograde hopefully clarifies your true desires, and Saturn’s presence ramps up the seriousness.  Among other things, expect economic stress and belt-tightening because of this Saturn-Venus combination.  There is a Libra full moon on the 12th that makes an angle to Neptune on the world axis, so the sense of  global uncertainty will be even worse.  Everyone will be a mess.  On the 16th Mars enters your sign of Leo and moves into an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. A few days later on the 19th the Sun enters Taurus and moves into a potentially tense angle to Mars and Pluto, surfacing  power struggles and belligerence.  Be careful of confrontation but know that  it is a great time for resistance and organizing—just be careful!  The Sun spends about a week in a square to Mars—be mindful of your body in space. In other words, watch where you’re going!  Then the month ends with a beautiful and productive new moon in Taurus on the 27th.  Get into the garden!

Beyonce, quintessential Virgo!

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)   April begins with Neptune just having entered Aries on March 20 for the first time since 1862. Neptune spends the month parked on top of a trigger point for the world, so expect more global uncertainty and weirdness. Your ruling planet Mercury remains retrograde til the 7th, but right now it is moving in tandem with Venus retrograde and they both have moved into Pisces.  That’s usually a chatty and fun combination but they have landed right on top of Saturn in Pisces, which changes the dynamic.  Keep in mind that Pisces is your opposite sign and so the Venus Mercury Saturn pileup might be especially stressful for you.  Communication might go from friendly to tense in the first week of April.  After Mercury moves away we are left with Venus and Saturn sitting together all month, with Venus turning from retrograde to direct on the 12th.  Venus and Saturn are about commitment and also rejection of commitments, based on being more in touch with your needs.  The economic impact of Venus and Saturn will also contribute to re-evaluating your needs… There is a Libra full moon also on the 12th and it lines up with Neptune. Expect things to feel really weird and unsettling.  Then on the 16th Mars enters Leo and opposes Pluto – a good combination for protest and resistance, especially once the Sun enters Taurus on the 19th and joins the Mars – Pluto situation.  Could be an explosive few days.  The month ends with a very pretty Taurus new moon on the 27th, a great lunation for planting and getting things done.

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  Neptune entered your  opposite sign of Aries on March 30th for the first time since 1862.  And you thought things were weird already– we aint seen nothin’ yet!   The uncertainty factor will be even greater for the world and all of us who live on it.  Yet Neptune in Aries will also free up self-expression in a way and so you might be inspired.   Meanwhile Mercury and Venus, both still retrograde, have moved from Aries back into Pisces, and they move in tandem through the 12th.  They are a convivial pair, but this month they line up with Saturn, making communication a bit difficult. And yes, back up that hard drive.  Mercury does turn direct on the 7th, and Venus continues its retrograde til the 12th and you continue to let it clarify your wants and needs.  However, Venus really sits with Saturn in Pisces all month long, which could make you re-evaluate all of your commitments  of resources and emotion, and help you set limits.   April 12th – the day Venus turns direct– brings a big full moon in your sign of Libra that falls on a trigger point for the earth, along with your pal Neptune.  Expect to be really unsettled, as the global uncertainty continues. Mars leaves Cancer and enters Leo on the 16th and immediately opposes Pluto in early Aquarius. A few days later on the 19th, the Sun enters Taurus and makes a potent angle to Mars and Pluto.   It is a good time for community organizing and resistance !  It is also a time when you might be bossy as hell and not be aware of it.  The month ends with a delicious new moon in Taurus  on the 27th, a great new moon for planning and getting things done.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)   I am sorry to tell you that the planetary uncertainty continues and even worsens this month, thanks to Neptune, which just entered  Aries and sits on a global trigger point all month. Meanwhile Mercury is still retrograde, as is Venus, and they both have moved back into Pisces, adding to the changeability of lifeVenus and Mercury can be fun and creative and convivial but they have moved smack on top of Saturn in Pisces, which changes the feeling for sure!  Communication, travel and tech could be very weird at least until April  7 when Mercury turns direct. Please don’t get cranky, just go with the flow. Additionally Venus sits with Saturn all month long, staying retrograde til the 12th, then turning direct and parking on top of Saturn the whole time.  This is a good combination for commitment and also for pulling back from commitment.  Venus retrograde hopefully clarifies your true desires, and Saturn’s presence should allow you to ask for what you need.  Expect economic stress because of this Saturn-Venus combination.  There is a Libra full moon on the 12th that makes an angle to Neptune on the world axis, really ramping up global uncertainty.    On the 16th Mars enters Leo and moves into an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. A few days later on the 19th the Sun enters your opposite sign of Taurus and moves into a conflictual angle to Mars and Pluto, surfacing some power struggles.  Be careful of arguments.  It is a great time for resistance and community organizing—just be careful!  Then the month ends with a beautiful and productive new moon in Taurus on the 27th. Get into the garden and get your hands in the dirt!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)   April begins with Neptune just having entered Aries on March 20 for the first time since 1862, a time of immense social change. Neptune spends the month sitting on a trigger point for the world, so expect more global uncertainty and weirdness. Mercury remains retrograde til the 7th, but right now it is moving in tandem with Venus retrograde and they both have moved into Pisces.  That’s usually a fun and convivial combination but they have landed right on top of Saturn, which brings a different vibe.  Communication might go from friendly to tense in the first week of April.  After Mercury moves away we are left with Venus and Saturn sitting together all month, with Venus turning from retrograde to direct on the 12th.  Venus and Saturn are about commitment and also about withdrawal of commitment,  and of course, Venus retrograde’s transit should have revealed to you where you really want to put your prodigious energy.  So you might become very clear about your limits and actually say no to some things.  What a concept! The Saturn Venus combination  also has a lot to do with finances and I imagine we all will be tightening our belts this month.   There is a Libra full moon also on the 12th and it lines up with Neptune. Expect things to feel very unsettled.  Then on the 16th Mars enters Leo and opposes Pluto – a good combination for protest and resistance, especially once the Sun enters Taurus on the 19th and joins the  Mars – Pluto party. Could be an explosive few days.  The month ends with a very pretty Taurus new moon on the 27th, a great lunation for getting your hands in the dirt.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  Well, April is interesting!  First of all, Neptune has just entered Aries and spends the entire month sitting on the 0-degrees Aries point, a major trigger point for world events.  So I am sorry to say that the sense of uncertainty you’ve been feeling will continue pretty much unabated.  Venus remains retrograde til the 12th, and Venus retrograde can bring a lot clarity about where you really want to put your time, energy and resources, although the Venus situation is complex this month.   First of all,  Mercury retrograde has caught up with Venus and they both have re-entered Pisces where they meet up with Saturn.   Mercury, Venus and Saturn hang out together til Mercury turns direct on the 7th and starts moving away, but Venus is with Saturn all month long.  Expect communication to get challenging the first week of April.  The Venus Saturn effect should be grounding for you since Saturn is your planet, and the combination is about commitment, values, and relationships. You might get very clear about places where your needs are not being met, and you will be inclined to set some limits.  The Libra full moon falls on the same day Venus turns from retrograde to direct, and the full moon makes an angle to Neptune.  You will likely be extra sensitive and undone.  Then on the 16th Mars enters Leo and opposes Pluto for a good few days of willfulness and struggle. Get out there and protest!  The Sun enters Taurus on the 19th and gets into an angle to Mars and Pluto, ramping up everyone’s overall frustration. Stay away from confrontation. The month ends with a beautiful new moon in Taurus on the 7th,  an inspiring and earthy moon.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 9)   Well, this month is especially weird since Neptune, which just entered  Aries, sits on a global trigger point and adding to all the global uncertainty. Meanwhile Mercury is still retrograde, as is Venus, and they both have moved back into Pisces.  Usually Venus and Mercury are a party but they have moved smack onto Saturn in Pisces, which puts a damper on the fun, for sure. There is a Libra full moon on the 12th that makes an angle to Neptune on the world axis, so the sense of  global unsettledness will be even worse.  Everyone will be a mess.  On the 16th Mars enters your opposite sign of Leo and moves into an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. A few days later on the 19th the Sun enters Taurus and moves into a potentially tense angle to Mars and Pluto, surfacing  power struggles and belligerence.  Be careful of confrontation but know that it is a great time for resistance and organizing, and also great for moving mountains!  You will be a whirlwind of activity.  Then the month ends with a gorgeous, earthy new moon in Taurus on the 27th.  You had better get outside and get your hands into the dirt!

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  Well, Neptune has just entered Aries on March 20 for the first time since 1862, bringing weirdness and more uncertainty. Neptune spends the month parked on top of a trigger point for the world, so our wee blue planet will be going through some stuff. Mercury remains retrograde til the 7th, but right now it is moving in tandem with Venus retrograde and they both have moved into Pisces.  That’s usually a pretty delightful combination but they have landed right on top of Saturn in Pisces, which changes the dynamic.  Keep in mind that the Venus Mercury Saturn pileup is in Pisces and might be especially stressful for you. Hopefully Venus retrograde has been bringing you some clarity about where you want to put your energy.
