PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  Ooh, March is kinda a big month for you, and for the rest of us too. The month kicks off on the 1st with Venus in Aries beginning its 6-week retrograde, ushering in a process of values clarification.  Keep in mind that later this month, Venus will retrograde back into the end of Pisces—but more on that later.  Venus retrograde can be subtle, a time when it becomes clear where things aren’t lining up for you in terms of values, integrity and desires.  Also starting on the 1st the Pisces Sun makes an angle to Jupiter in Gemini for a few days, putting the focus on fulfillment, on bringing something to fruition.  With Venus retrograde in the mix you shouldn’t be surprised if something feels not quite right with what you’re doing.  Just let Venus reveal what is really going on for you… Things are relatively quiet til the 10th when the Pisces Sun catches up to Saturn in Pisces for a few days of feeling serious and weighed down with responsibility.  (The good news in  this story is that Saturn has moved away from its potent little angle to Pluto, releasing us all from feeling like the world is ending….) Then things get very interesting on the 14th with a Virgo full moon and total lunar eclipse  (visible in all of North America!).  On that full moon Venus retrograde lines up with Uranus and the Sun and Moon line up with Saturn.  And Mercury in Aries  slows down as it is gets ready to turn retrograde on the 15th . Whoa!  Full moons always illuminate and the Virgo full moon will make the flaws in things very visible.  Be careful of excessive crankiness and self-criticism. By the 17th The Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune and North Lunar Node.  It’s time to double down on friendships and close networks. Spend time with those you love.  Then it’s the Spring Equinox on the 20th, followed by Venus retrograde crossing over the Sun on the 23rd, followed by Mercury retrograde a few days later. Expect a lot of… uncertainty, confusion. By the 27th Venus retrogrades back into Pisces and two days later Mercury follows suit on the 29th, the same day as the Aries new moon and partial solar eclipse. Both Venus and Mercury sit with Neptune which enters Aries on the 30thWhaat?!  This is quite the pileup of planets right on or close to a trigger point for the world itself, the 0-degrees Aries mark, amplified by the new moon and eclipse.  Like I said, gather up your close peeps and let’s hope for a shift in consciousness.

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  If you thought the last few months were crazy, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Venus in Aries turns retrograde on the 1st, ushering in a time of evaluation about whether your heart is in whatever you’re doing and whether it lines up with your values.  Also starting on the 1st, the Pisces Sun makes an angle to Jupiter for a few days, further shining a light on where you feel fulfilled and where you don’t.  Mercury enters your sign on the 3rd, and get ready, it also turns retrograde this month, but more on that later!  On the  10th the Pisces Sun squares Saturn and you are feeling weighed down with work and responsibility. The March 14 Virgo full moon and lunar eclipse just intensify your seriousness. This full moon is a doozy, with heavy Saturn influences and Venus retrograde in an angle to Uranus.  Try to stay grounded. Meanwhile Mercury slows way way down to get ready for its retrograde on the 15th. You know the drill – go with the flow, pay attention to your dreams. Expect plans to change.  By the 17th the Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune and the North Lunar Node.  Lots of beginnings and endings are happening around you, in terms of relationships…. Deep breaths.  Then it’s the Spring Equinox on the 20th, when the Sun moves into your sign.   This is followed by Venus retrograde crossing over the Sun on the 23rd, with  Mercury retrograde crossing paths with the Sun a few days later. Expect a lot of weirdness, surprises, revelations. confusion. Venus retrogrades back into Pisces and two days later Mercury follows suit on the 29th, the same day as the Aries new moon and partial solar eclipse. Both Venus and Mercury sit with Neptune which enters Aries on the 30th .   Let me remind you that Neptune hasn’t been in Aries since the 1862… In addition to Neptune there is quite the pileup right on or close to a trigger point for the world itself, the 0-degrees Aries mark,  so there will be lots of shenanigans on the world stage, especially since the Aries new moon and partial solar eclipse occur on the 29th.   You will have to work hard to stay grounded.  Hold onto your hat!

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  OMG—what  a month!  Your ruling planet Venus turns retrograde in Aries on the 1st—not a bad thing at all and very interesting.   Remember that any retrograde surfaces aspects of the planet that are normally hidden, and in the case of Venus retrograde the 6 week retrograde surfaces our core integrity, so it brings clarity to where our lives are in sync with our values and where they are not. As your ruling planet  this is an important transit. Keep in mind that it might surface some very feisty and rebellious behavior, especially while it moves through Aries.  (You might want to warn your loved ones! )  Also at the start of March the Pisces Sun makes an angle to Jupiter in Gemini, signifying a kind of resolution or fulfillment but against the backdrop of Venus retrograde it also might make you aware of what isn’t quite right in your world.  The Pisces Sun then moves into a conjunction with Saturn in Pisces on the 10th for a few days of stress, probably around work issues.  The Sun Saturn thing is serious and you may feel pressured, especially on the Virgo full moon and total lunar eclipse on the 14th (visible in North America!)  Beware of tendencies to be controlling.  You can’t control much right now, especially since Mercury in Aries  turns retrograde on the 15th.  Yup, Mercury and Venus are both retrograde for the rest of March.  Have fun with that!  It might just be creative and inspiring—or then again, irritating and confounding. Then on the 17th the Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune, adding a high degree of uncertainty.  With the North Lunar Node also in this lineup, its important to focus on relationships and creating networks of support.  Happy Spring!  It’s the equinox on the 20th, when the Sun enters Aries.  The rest of the month is wild, with the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Neptune all crossing over the 0-degrees Aries mark, a key trigger point for the world.  Much of this occurs on or close to the Aries new moon and partial eclipse on the 29th.  Neptune enters Aries on the 30th, the first time since 1862. The retrogrades plus Neptune add an element of  revelation and perhaps a shift in consciousness.

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  Please bear with me—it’s a complicated month!  It begins with Venus in Aries turning retrograde on the 1st, kicking off a 6-week period of values clarification.  If there is any area of your life where you’re not fully in alignment with your true values and desires, it will become obvious.  The awareness that grows in you might be subtle—it is not necessarily dramatic, unlike on the world stage where changes can be dramatic under this influence.  Also at the start of the month the Pisces Sun makes an angle to Jupiter in your sign of Gemini, and between that and Venus retrograde you are very aware of where you are feeling fulfilled and what else you need to be happy.   By the 10th the Pisces Sun catches up to Saturn in Pisces for a good few days, bringing some stress your way.  This gets intensified around the Virgo full moon and lunar eclipse on the 14th.  Ooh, beware of feeling really edgy and critical on this full moon.  Keep in mind that your ruling planet Mercury turns retrograde the next day, on the 15th.  Yup, we will have both Venus and Mercury retrograding for the rest of the month, first in Aries and then into the tail end of Pisces.  That could bring a lot of clarity your way…By the 17th, though, the Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune in Pisces, the planet of confusion and also transcendence. It’s a good time for meditation.    Happy Spring Equinox on the 20th, when the Sun passes into Aries.  On the 23rd Venus retrograde crosses the Sun’s path, and here comes the rageful goddess.  Watch your anger!  The rest of the month is weird and wonky, with Venus, Mercury the Sun, and Neptune all crossing over the 0-degree Aries mark, a key trigger point on the world’s axis.  There is a powerful Aries new moon and partial eclipse on the 29th, and then Neptune enters Aries on the 30th.  Get ready for global uncertainty.  The Venus -Neptune transit could bring a significant shift in consciousness.  Let’s hope!

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21) Oh this is a month that will certainly challenge your Cancerian sense of security!  Get ready!  Venus in Aries turns retrograde on the 1st. This is a six-week transit during which you unconsciously evaluate your values and whether your life is in sync with them.  Any retrograde brings to the surface part of that planet’s action which is normally under wraps, and in this case it might be a big dose of feistiness. Also starting on the 1st, the Pisces Sun makes an angle to Jupiter for a few days, so you may be looking at  where you feel fulfilled and where you don’t.  On the  10th the Pisces Sun squares Saturn and you feel burdened and stressed, probably about work and also about responsibility.  The March 14 Virgo full moon and lunar eclipse just intensify your crankiness. This full moon is a big one, with heavy Saturn influences and Venus retrograde in an angle to Uranus, and then of course the eclipse intensifies it.  Meanwhile Mercury slows way down to get ready for its retrograde on the 15th. Expect plans to change and for life to be especially wonky.   With Venus and Mercury retrograde you may feel like you don’t fit in to dominant culture – this Venus retrograde astrologer thinks that’s probably a good thing!  By the 17th the Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune and the North Lunar Node.  This is all about  firming up some relationships and letting go of others.  Then it’s the Spring Equinox on the 20th, when the Sun moves into Aries. Yowza!  Both Venus and Mercury sit with Neptune which enters Aries on the 30th .   So there is quite the pileup right on or close to a trigger point for the world itself, the 0-degrees Aries mark,  so there will be lots of tumult  on the world stage, especially since the Aries new moon and partial solar eclipse occur on the 29th.   Make sure your Venus retrograde feistiness doesnt land you in jail!

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)   This month is wild and crazy, but in a different way from the wild and crazy of the last year, well, last 2 years… last 3 years?  In any case, it’s a different kind of weird.  Venus in Aries turns retrograde on the 1st, ushering in 6 weeks of a deep internal process concerning where your life is in sync with your values and where it isn’t.  The Pisces Sun also squares Jupiter at the top of the month, emphasizing an awareness of what’s missing in your life.  Just let it all bubble since this month will bring all kinds of revelations. By the 10th the Pisces Sun catches up to Saturn in Pisces for a good few days of stress and pressure, made more intense by the Virgo full moon  and lunar eclipse on the 14th.  The Saturn aspects are heavy with this full moon.  Beware of being hypercritical, especially towards yourself.   Then Mercury in Aries turns retrograde on the 15th.  Yes indeed, we have both Venus and Mercury retrograde in Aries and then back into Pisces this month—weird, interesting, revelatory.   We will see what unfolds!  Then on the 17th the Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune and the North Lunar Node—it’s time to nurture friendships, old and new.  Then Happy Spring Equinox on the 20th when the Sun enters Aries.  A few days later Venus retrograde crosses the Sun, and Venus crawls out of the underworld, ready for a fight.  Then life gets very interesting:  Venus and Mercury retrograde move backwards over the 0-degree Aries point, a major trigger point for the world. There is a potent new moon in Aries and partial solar eclipse on the 29th and then Neptune crosses  the Aries point on the 30th.  (Umm, did I mention Neptune hasn’t been in Aries since 1862?) Big doings on the world stage, that’s for sure. Might be time for a revolt. And/or a major global shift in consciousness.

Beyonce, quintessential Virgo!

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)   Well, well, March has much in store for you, so get ready.  Itbegins on the 1st with Venus in Aries turning retrograde,  a 6-week process of becoming aware of where your life isn’t lining up with your deepest desires and values.  Venus retrograde can be subtle, a deep internal shift, the results of which may not show up til after the retrograde period ends.  Also starting on the 1st the Pisces Sun makes an angle to Jupiter in Gemini for a few days, putting the focus on fulfillment, on bringing something to fruition.  On the 10th the Pisces Sun catches up to Saturn in Pisces for a few days of feeling serious and weighed down with responsibility.  Keep in mind that Pisces is your opposite sign so you will be very affected by al the Pisces action this month.  The 14th brings a powerful a Virgo full moon and total lunar eclipse  (visible in all of North America!).  On that full moon Venus retrograde lines up with Uranus and the Sun and Moon line up with Saturn.  Your might eb feeling very hemmed in by responsibilities that get in the way of your creative expression.  And Mercury in gets ready to turn retrograde on the 15th . Wow!  The Virgo full moon will illuminate the imperfections in people and things. Be careful of excessive crankiness and criticism. By the 17th The Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune and North Lunar Node.  It’s time to focus on friendships and close networks. Spend time with those you love.  Then it’s the Spring Equinox on the 20th, followed by Venus retrograde crossing over the Sun on the 23rd, followed by Mercury retrograde a few days later. Expect a lot of… uncertainty, confusion, revelation. By the 27th Venus retrogrades back into Pisces and two days later Mercury follows suit on the 29th, the same day as the Aries new moon and partial solar eclipse. Both Venus and Mercury sit with Neptune which enters Aries on the 30th. The Neptune effect is inspiring and could point to a shift in consciousness.  In any caseall of these planets will be on top of each other and  right on or close to a trigger point for the world itself, the 0-degrees Aries mark, amplified by the new moon and eclipse.  We have to welcome the unknown!

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  Well, March is wild, and at least it’s a different kind of wild, so get ready!!  March begins with your ruling planet Venus in Aries turning retrograde on the 1st, ushering in 6 weeks of a deep internal awareness of where your life is in or out of sync with your core values and desires.  That most of the retrograde occurs in your opposite sign is important, and it just might release some fiery sides of you, some anger, passion, inspiration, and leadership.  The Pisces Sun squares Jupiter for the first few days of March, adding to the sense of where you feel fulfilled and where you don’t… Just let it all percolate and let Venus do her thing, revealing your true self and shedding any tendencies to please others for the sake of pleasing.  By the 10th the Pisces Sun catches up to Saturn in Pisces, and that’s a pain in the neck, bringing pressure and lots of work.  Your nerves might be a-jangle as we approach the powerful Virgo full moon and lunar eclipse on the 14th. Yow!  Be careful of being supercritical of others and of yourself.  On the 15th, Mercury in Aries turns retrograde so yes, we have both Venus and Mercury retrograde for the rest of the month and into April.   That could be fun, or it could be irritating, or both. Lots of weird communication and revelations.  On the 17th the Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune and the North Lunar node, so it’s time to really ground yourself in relationships.  Pull your peeps close.  Happy spring on the 20th, when the Sun enters your opposite sign of Aries.  The rest of  the month is insane and rather unpredictable . on the 23rd Venus retrograde crosses the Sun and the rageful goddess begins to emerge—could be you, could the planet.  Watch your anger. Then at the end of the month there is an amazing criss -crossing of Mercury and Venus retrograde over the 0 point of Aries while Neptune moves out of Pisces and into Aries, the first time since 1862. And there is also a potent Aries new moon and partial eclipse on the 29th . Yeah, who knows what this means  but it will be global, it will be weird, and it will be powerful.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  Venus in Aries turns retrograde on the 1st, ushering in 6 weeks of a deep internal process concerning where your life is in sync with your values and where it isn’t.  The Pisces Sun also squares Jupiter at the top of the month, emphasizing an awareness of what’s missing in your life.  Just let it all percolate since this month will bring all kinds of revelations. Also starting on the 1st, the Pisces Sun makes an angle to Jupiter for a few days, so you may be looking at  where you feel fulfilled and where you don’t.  On the  10th the Pisces Sun squares Saturn and you feel burdened and stressed, probably about work and responsibility.  The March 14 Virgo full moon and lunar eclipse just intensify your desire to overwork and produce, produce, produce. This full moon is a big one, with heavy Saturn influences and Venus retrograde in an angle to Uranus, and then of course the eclipse intensifies it.  The venus-Uranus action could bring a creative breakthrough your way.  Meanwhile Mercury slows way down to get ready for its retrograde on the 15th. Expect plans to change and for life to be especially wonky.   With Venus and Mercury retrograde you may feel like you don’t have any control, and that’s hard for a Capricorn.  Remember to let the retrogrades pull you where you need to go. By the 17th the Pisces Sun catches up to Neptune and the North Lunar Node.  This is all about  firming up some relationships and letting go of others.  Then it’s the Spring Equinox on the 20th, when the Sun moves into Aries. So there is quite the pileup right on or close to a trigger point for the world itself, the 0-degrees Aries mark,  so there will be lots of tumult  on the world stage, and we will be in a whole new reality.  Stay grounded and welcome the unknown!
