TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)   This month has all kinds of things in store for you! May begins with Venus in early  Taurus making a quick angle to Pluto, putting a focus on where you are investing time, passions, and resources. Meanwhile Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto continue their potent angle pretty much all month, ramping up political tension and also some personal stress about what your purposeful Taurean self should do about everything, especially the political dramas unfolding around us.  The word I would use is struggle. You’re very aware of the struggles of others and dealing with the intensity of these planetary forces can also be a personal struggle: you feel stretched and pulled and pressured all at once.  The good news is that Jupiter is still close enough to Uranus for the first couple of weeks of May to bring unexpected opportunities and breakthroughs.  The 7^th brings that delicious Taurus new moon, the one that is earthy and wonderful for planning and starting new ventures. It is within spitting distance of Uranus so there may be some surprises on this new moon. Then by the 12^th the Taurus Sun really gets up close and personal with Uranus, also pulling in the influences of Saturn and Pluto, so expect a few tense days on our planet.  Mercury enters Taurus on the 15^th – adding to the pileup of planets in your sign—and immediately makes an angle to Pluto.  Spend a day or two doing deep study since it is a great aspect for focus.  By the 17^th the Taurus Sun moves away from Uranus and onto Jupiter for about a week.  Ooh!  This is a juicy and satisfying influence of completion and fulfillment, so enjoy. And Mars in Aries cozies up to the North Lunar Node, inspiring intimacy and connection.  Also on the 17^th Venus in Taurus catches up to Uranus, where it spends a few inspired and visionary days until it moves on to Jupiter on the 22^nd.   The Sun enters Gemini on the 20^th, and the full moon in Sagittarius falls on the 23^rd with that nice Venus-Jupiter lineup, hopefully finally bringing some positive outcomes to the planet, along with hopefulness and deep meaning.  Jupiter enters Gemini on the 25^th, and the last week of May continues the Venus-Jupiter influence. The month ends with Mercury and Uranus making you an idea factory. Pay attention to even your wildest ideas!

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  May brings some major influences your way, and you just might find the breakthrough you’ve been looking for. The month begins with some Venus-Pluto deep feelings and commitment. Jupiter in Taurus sits on top of Uranus for the first 10 days of May, bringing unexpected outcomes and opportunities. Of course, Saturn and Pluto are in the mix as well, stressing everyone out and making you feel a bit buffeted about by forces out of your control.  The delightful Taurus new moon comes on the 7^th, a great lunation for digging in the dirt and for making new plans. It is close enough to Uranus to also bring some surprises. By the 12^th the Taurus Sun meets up with Uranus for some days of tension. Be careful of your edginess and be sure to do things to calm down your nervous system.  Mercury enters Taurus on the 15^th and makes an angle to Pluto, so let yourself dive deeply into some subject matter or undertaking.   By the 17^th the Taurus Sun catches up to Jupiter and Venus lands on Uranus, stimulating your creativity. The Sun-Jupiter transit is a juicy one, bringing plans to fruition.  The Sun enters Gemini on the 20^th,  followed by a full moon in Sagittarius with pretty Venus and Jupiter influences.  It’s a lovefest!  Then Jupiter enters your sign on the 25^th!  Jupiter is all about meaning and fate, as well as completion and abundance.  Enjoy!  Venus in Gemini  stays close to the Sun for the rest of the month – enjoy that too!

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  The astrological stress continues,  I am sorry to say, and your Cancerian sensitivity is being tested to the max! Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto are all mixed up together with a little smattering of Jupiter, setting everyone on the edge. Deep breaths.  There is always good news too! May begins with a quick Venus square to Pluto, and you are feeling some urgency around intimacy. Jupiter moves across Uranus for the first 10 days of the month, bringing some unexpected openings your way.  The May 7^th New moon in Taurus is a gorgeous one, great for planning and starting new projects.  It is close enough to Uranus in Taurus to also bring surprises and most definitely, to bring extreme weather. By the 12^th the Taurus Sun reaches Uranus for a few days of high drama and tension.  You will feel antsy for change. Mercury enters Taurus on the 15th, squaring Pluto and inspiring deep focus.  Then by the 16^th the Sun leaves Uranus and meets up with Jupiter for several days during which you feel anything is possible while Venus in Taurus passes over Uranus, stimulating creative vision and allowing you to take some risks.  Go for it.  The Sun enters Gemini on the 20^th, and the Sagittarius full moon follows on the 23^rd with strong Venus and Jupiter influences. Whenever Jupiter is involved the energy is magnified, and it’s Sagittarius ruling planet, so expect a wild full moon with a lot of big big energy being expressed.  With Venus involved, I’m going to hope the energy is loving.  Jupiter enters Gemini on the 25^th , continuing the Venus Jupiter lovefest.  Venus moves in tandem with the Gemini Sun for the rest of the month. LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)  Ooh, it’s a stimulating and provocative month for you, in light of all the Taurus planets in the sky which tweak your Leo self in a particular way…  May begins with Venus in Taurus making an angle to Pluto, inspiring you to wrestle with where you are putting your time, energy and resources.  Jupiter is still very close to Uranus, ramping up the sense that time is moving extremely fast.  Keep in mind that there is a powerful angle between Uranus, Saturn, and Pluto this month, with Jupiter in the mix for the first10 days or so.  This combination is stressful, revolutionary, and even explosive, as we are seeing play out in the world around us.  Meanwhile you are feeling stressed and stretched, so be aware and  pay attention to spiritual and creative practices.  The Taurus new moon falls on the 7^th, and it’s a beautiful earthy one, excellent for making new plans and for getting your hands in the dirt.  It is close enough to Uranus to bring the unexpected, so expect to be  surprised.  The surprises continue because the Taurus Sun meets up with Uranus on the 12^th for about 5 days of craziness before it moves onto Jupiter.  Things should ease up and you should have a sense of completion beginning on the 17^th. VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  As you know, the world is nuts, buffeted by the influences of Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto. There’s more than enough stress, drama, and life and death crises to go around.  You’re holding steady, though, thanks to the stabilizing energy of the zillion planets in Taurus in the sky right now.  May begins with Venus in Taurus squaring Pluto, and you are focused on relationships.  Jupiter is still very close to Uranus, increasing the surprise factor in your life.  You are just having to roll with the unexpected and let go of any semblance of control.  The Taurus new moon comes on the 7^th, and it’s beautiful one, deliciously earthy and great for planning.  It falls close enough to Uranus to bring some unexpected changes.  Then by the 12^th the Taurus Sun catches up to Uranus for a few days of tension and intensity before it moves away from Uranus and onto Jupiter.  In fact, Venus in Taurus crosses over Uranus right when the Sun crosses Jupiter.  This will bring completion, the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. The Venus Uranus effect will bring release and visionary possibility.  The Sun enters Gemini on the 20^th, followed by the Sagittarius full moon on the 23^rd. LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  Well, the planetary shenanigans continue, I’m afraid, but with some definite bright spots.  Everyone is reeling from the explosive Saturn-Uranus-Pluto influence of tension, revolution, crisis which remains in effect for most of this month.  But—Jupiter is close enough to Uranus at the start of the month to create unexpected openings and breakthroughs… May begins with Venus in Taurus making an angle to Pluto, adding a dose of intensity to intimate relationships.  The Taurus new moon comes on the 7^th – earthy, juicy, delightful., but also close to Uranus so expect the unexpected personally and globally.  Then by the 12^th the Taurus Sun really lines up with Uranus, bringing a few days of tension. Deep breaths.  By the 16^th the Sun moves  away from Uranus and onto Jupiter, while Venus moves onto Uranus.  What?!  The Sun Jupiter effect is about completion and fulfilment while Venus and Uranus inspire creative vision.  You will be stirred up and wanting change, and also seeing many openings for change.  Exciting!   The Sun enters Gemini on the 20^th, followed by a Sagittarius full moon on the 23^rd with strong Venus Jupiter influences. SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  So many planets in Taurus this month, and all of them stressing you out.   Taurus is your opposite sign, after all!  May begins with Venus in Taurus making an angle to Pluto, putting the focus on relationships where there might be a power struggle.  Jupiter is still close to Uranus in Taurus, at least bringing some unexpected openings and possibilities.  The Tauris new moon comes on the  7^th, and it’s a beautiful one, earthy and inspirational. Make plans, get your hands in the dirt.  This new moon falls close to Uranus, so it is a good time to harness your vision for change in the world.  By the 12^th the Taurus Sun catches up to Uranus for a few days of tension and craziness, but by the 16^th the Sun moves onto Jupiter.  Whew!  This is a welcome relief and also a release.  Venus in Taurus moves onto Uranus, inspiring creative vision while the Sun and Jupiter bring closure and completion.  The Sun enters Gemini on the 20^th, followed by the Sagittarius full moon on the 23^rd which has strong Venus and Jupiter influences, inspiring peace and hopefulness. Nice!  Jupiter enters Gemini on the 25^th, adding to the sense of a “sea change” for everyone. SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)  Kind of a big month for Sagittarius, I must say, thanks to all the Jupiter action.  But first we have to slog through the dramatic and explosive influence of the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto angle wreaking personal and global havoc.   Sigh.  May begins with Venus in Taurus making an angle to Pluto, helping you deeply focus your creative and relational energy. Jupiter is still on top of Uranus, speeding up time, ramping up activity, and making you slightly crazed, even as it brings some incredibly wonderful surprises your way.  The Taurus new moon comes on the 7^th, and it’s a delightfully earthy new moon, good for planning and new starts.  It’s close enough to Uranus to bring some surprises. By the 12^th the Taurus Sun really gets close to Uranus for a few days of craziness, but then by the 16^th the Sun moves into Jupiter and Venus moves in on Uranus.  Huh, interesting!  The Sun Jupiter effect is one of fulfillment, completion and Venus -Uranus will inspire vision and freedom.  The Sun enters Gemini on the 20^th, moving into your opposite sign, and the 23^rd brings a Sagittarius full moon and Venus also entering Gemini.  There are strong  Venus-Jupiter influences on this full moon. PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  May is a fascinating month, not withoutchallenges, surprises, and ultimately, things to be happy about.  But you have to paddle through some white water first.  Keep in mind that Jupiter is sitting with Uranus in Taurus so there is a lot going on, and it feels like time is moving very fast and you have way too much on your plate.  Meanwhile Uranus is in a pesky angle to Saturn and Pluto so yes, we are living through an incredible period of things breaking down and rising up. Transformation is messy and scary. But the month gets better—trust me.  May begins with Venus in Taurus making an angle to Pluto, and you are wrestling with resources and values and commitments.  The Taurus new moon falls on the 7^th, and this is an especially fruitful and productive moon, great for planning and new ventures.   But it is close enough to Uranus to have some unforeseen events and opportunities arise.
