AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 9)  Well, the Sun is moving though Aquarius right now, and it is fitting that your ruling planet Uranus gives you plenty of action this month.   And pesky Pluto is has entered Aquarius too. By the 4^th Mercury catches up to it and you get a few days where you would do well to focus on some deep subject matter and put your brain to work.  Then by the 7^th the Sun gets into a tight angle with your ruling planet Uranus for a good few days, including on the Aquarius new moon on the 9^th.  You will feel

pulled to do something very different, to upend whatever is status quo in your life.  Go for it— leave the known for the unknown!  By the 13^th Mars in Capricorn catches up to Pluto, and Venus is not far behind.  Mars enters your own sign on the 13th and then Venus follows on the 16^th. The Pluto influence will certainly put attention on world tensions,  but for you personally it will be a good time for organizing, mobilizing, getting stuff done.  On the 16^th Venus and Mars begin their beautiful dance where they spend the rest of the month moving in tandem in your own sign.  This is a gorgeous transit of working in shared effort with others, and it’s fun and easy.  God knows I’m hoping for some peace treaties!  Their pairing is quite exact by the 21^st and remains so until Venus moves past Mars on the 25^th, but they will continue to move as one delicious force for the rest of the month.  The Sun enters Pisces late on the 18^th, and the Virgo full moon falls on the 24^th, and that full moon carries not only the Venus-Mars energy but Jupiter too. Jupiter makes an exact angle to Venus and Mars for a few days starting with the 24^th.  Nice!  Now we might really get that cease -fire!  The end of the month brings the Pisces Sun crossing paths with Saturn, bringing you responsibility and a lot of work.

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  February is very interesting and not altogether bad.  By the 4^th Mercury sneaks into position with Pluto for a few days, and it is a good time for you to apply your brain to some knotty problem. Focus, focus, and trust what you’re thinking and discovering. Then the Aquarius Sun gets into a powerful angle with Uranus, its ruling planet. Uh-oh, this makes for a double dose of that wild and unexpected and jangly Uranian energy, and it all coincides with the Aquarius new moon!  So it’s a very Uranian new moon—expect the unexpected, and expect to feel pushed to go boldly into the future and to let go of the predictable.  Mars enters Aquarius on the 13^th and catches up to Pluto, so you can expect global stress and power plays.  But then Venus enters Aquarius on the 16^th, beginning a pretty delightful stretch of Venus and Mars moving in tandem.  That’s about shared effort, and it should be enjoyable. The rest of the month will liberate some motivation in you, so let it rip. The Sun enters your sign of Pisces late on the 18^th, and the Virgo full moon is on the 24^th, focusing all that Venus-Mars energy and pulling in Jupiter to boot.  God, maybe peace will break out!  In any case, it is a great full moon for completion and for working with others in shared purpose.  Be sure to celebrate your achievement!  Then at the tail end of February the Sun catches up with Saturn.  This energy is more sober – you’ll be working hard but not too hard, thanks to Mars and Venus…

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  Happy to report that this is a quite easy and stimulating month for you…  It begins with a lot of interchange, and then by the 4^th Mercury spends a few days moving past Pluto.  If you have a deep thing to figure out, now is the time to focus and get it done.  Then by the 7^th the Aquarius Sun makes an angle to Uranus, including on the Aquarius new moon on the 9^th. Yowza!   That’s a lot of Uranus energy!  Get ready to feel stretched and pushed towards the new and different.  Go with it. Then by the 13^th Mars enters Aquarius and crosses over Pluto.   That combination is good on a personal level for getting things done, but on the world stage it can bring conflict .(What? More conflict?)   But don’t despair because on the 16^th Venus enters Aquarius, marking the beginning of a really delicious pairing of Venus and Mars for the rest of the month.  And—they will move past Pluto quickly as they advance into Aquarius. Venus and Mars are a really nice combo for shared effort. TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  Interesting month – and productive too. You like that. The month begins with Mercury crossing paths with Mars, making for some energetic interchange.  Mercury keeps on moving, and by the 4^th it moves across Pluto for a few days where you can really focus your mental energy.  Use it.  Then by the 7^th the Aquarius Sun catches up to an intense angle to Uranus, bringing tension and excitement, and perhaps the unexpected. The Uranus influence is really strong on the Aquarius new moon on the 9th , so you can expect to feel an energy of wanting change.  Don’t be surprised if you’re feeling limited in some way.  Then Mars enters Aquarius on the 13^th and meets up with Pluto. Put on your organizer hat and get to work, even if the world seems ready to implode.  By the 16^th Venus also enters Aquarius, and so begins a sweet pairing of Venus and Mars in Aquarius which lasts for the rest of the month. This combination is great for shared action, so expect some breakthroughs in things that seemed like they wouldn’t budge.  The Sun enters Pisces on the 18^th, and the Virgo new moon occurs on the 24^th, a productive moon if there ever were one, especially with the Venus Mars energy in the picture.  And just to make it even more juicy, Venus and Mars make an angle to Jupiter on the full moon.  Oh wow, maybe even a cease-fire… In any case it is a powerful full moon, one of completion, shared effort, and really satisfying work.  Then the month ends with a couple of days of the Sun lining up with Saturn.  You’ll be working hard and Venus and Mars will make you breeze through it.

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  The month begins  with some energetic interchange with people, and by the 4^th, you want to hole up and dive into rereading Toni Morrison’s novels  when Mercury enters Aquarius and passes over Pluto. (She was an Aquarius, after all…) Then by the 7^th the Aquarius Sun makes an intense angle to Uranus for a good few days, including on the Aquarius new moon on the 9^th.  Uh-oh, you’re jumping out of your skin, wanting something new and different, wanting a situation to get unstuck.  Use this new moon to invite in the energy of change.  By the 13th Mars enters Aquarius and catches up with Pluto. Watch out for power struggles, personally and globally.  Then Venus enters Aquarius on the 16^th, joining up with Mars as they both move through Aquarius for the rest of the month.  This is a really nice combination for doing what you love, and being in shared effort with others. CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  Well, February begins with Mars and Mercury in Capricorn generating some edgy energy, but they move quickly. By the 4^th  Mercury enters Aquarius and catches up to Pluto for a few days of deep focus.  Use it to study something complicated. Then by the 7^th the Sun in Aquarius makes a potent angle to Uranus, including on the Aquarius new moon on the 9^th.  Talk about edgy energy—this is downright jangly, and remember that there is no energy more different from Cancer than Aquarius. So if you feel agitated and antsy, wanting change but being kinda afraid of it, blame it on Uranus.   But—if there is a way that you need to move away from the status quo in your life, let Uranus lead you into a new and exciting future.  By the 13^th Mars enters Aquarius and joins up with Pluto. This is a good combination for focusing your energy and moving some mountains.  Venus enters Aquarius on the 16^th and those two planets move in tandem for the rest of the month. LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)  Ooh, this is a big month for you, with so much planetary action in your opposite sign of Aquarius.  February begins with Mercury making a quick pass over Mars, sparking a lot of interchange and discussion.  Then by the 4^th Mercury moves into Aquarius and immediately crossing over Pluto, a great combination for deep thought and study.
