GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Your ruling planet is slowing way down to a near standstill at the start of the month, as it gets ready to move direct on the 3^rd. Yes, that means this strange and annoying retrograde will end!  However – Mercury sits in an exact square to Saturn for the first 10 days of the month. Oy!  This pesky combination will exaggerate the irritating quality of the retrograde at least through the 3^rd, and then it will make for excellent focus and study if you are so inclined, but keep an eye on impatience.  Since Mercury is in Taurus and is squaring another planet in a fixed sign (Saturn in Aquarius) beware of taking intractable positions and digging your heels in.  This is no time for a fight, even though Mars and Jupiter, sitting together in Aries, make you a bit more easily triggered than usual.  Venus in Taurus catches up to Uranus on bthe 11^th for a few days of creative antsiness, but damn, you’re really jonesing for something new and different. Then buckle up for the Sagittarius full moon on the 14^th which lines up with Neptune, Mercury and Mars. That’s a lot of big energy and you may be desperate to express yourself.  Venus and the North Lunar Node will make you want to hunker down and hold tight to your close circle of loved ones while the world spins out of control.  The Neptune influence will bring lots of confusion and perhaps some really bad weather, literally and metaphorically.  Ring in the  Summer Solstice on June 21^st when the Sun enters Cancer.  The Sun spends a few days lined up with Uranus so expect reversals and the unexpected.  Venus enters Gemini on the 22^nd and quickly aspects Neptune – indulge your creativity, and be sure to commune with the ocean and soothe your agitated nervous system, especially on the new moon in Cancer on the 28^th.  The month ends with Mars in Aries in an angle to Pluto. Again — calm your nerves and definitely avoid power struggles.  Instead use this time to focus on a meaty project and get some stuff done! Don’t mourn, organize!

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  The world continues to be tumultuous and your sensitive soul is stressed.  Mercury turns direct on the 3^rd but spends the first 10 days of June squaring Saturn, increasing everyone’s tension levels.  Mars and Jupiter sit together in Aries for the first few days, increasing the bellicosity levels. Your inclination might well be to retreat into your Cancer shell and stay there for a good part of this month!  Indulge your self-protective instincts because it’s rough out there!  June 14^th brings a strange and dramatic full moon in Sagittarius with strong Neptune effects.   Confusion reigns, I’m afraid, and probably some really bad weather.  Venus approaches an angle to Saturn and you recommit to your values of connection.  That’s all you can do at a time like this.  Then it’s the Summer Solstice on June 21^st, when the Sun moves into Cancer. Yay!   Quite immediately however the Cancer Sun lines up with Uranus on the earth axis, so expect the unexpected.  Venus enters Gemini on the 22^nd and cozies up to Neptune for a few days of dreamy inspiration, just in time for the juicy new moon in Cancer on the 28^th.   But this new moon has some heaviness to it, thanks to Saturn, so you will feel the weight of the world.  Mars in an angle to Pluto will help you mobilize and throw yourself into collective action.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) What can I say?  We have another month of crazy and awful on our hands… Mercury turns direct on the 3^rd, but Mercury in Taurus spends 10 days in an angle to Saturn – so it might as well be retrograde!  The Mercury Saturn effect is a tense one, making you edgy and impatient. If you can redirect that energy into some intensely focused mental work, go for it.  By the 11^th Venus in Taurus catches up to Uranus for a couple of days of a values crisis.  Then the bombastic full moon in Sagittarius hits on the 14^th with aspects to Neptune, Mars and Mercury. Everyone will have a lot to say about everything, you included.  It will be a confusing full moon, with a focus on truth and lies, and will bring big emotional and literal weather. But Venus is also lined up with the North Lunar Node, putting an emphasis on relatedness and relationships.  Then it’s the Summer Solstice on June 21^st, when the Sun enters Cancer.  This time it lines up with Uranus for a few (more) days of global tumult.  As we approach the Cancer new moon on the 28^th Mars makes an angle to Pluto while the new moon pulls in Saturn.  It’s a good time to tackle a bear of a project, and to also make plans for collective liberation.

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) I know I warned you about the tumult of April and May, and guess what, it continues through June… Not my fault! Mercury turns direct on June 3^rd, thank god, since this retrograde has been vexing.  But—Mercury slows down down down as it stations direct and remains in a pesky square to Saturn for the first 10 days of the month.  This is a fairly tense aspect, excellent for focused work but be careful of worrying about things outside your control.  By the 11^th Venus in Taurus catches up to Uranus for a few days of creative itch.  Get yourself  into the studio and make some art!   Then here comes the Sagittarius full moon on the 14^th.   This is always a big -energy full moon, complicated this month by its aspects to Neptune, Mars and Mercury. Ooh. Confusion reigns, and it will be hard to tell fact from fiction. Your trust in the universe will be tested.  Hunker down and let Venus and the North Lunar Node ground you in your values.  The Summer Solstice falls on the 21^st, when the Sun enters Cancer.  The Cancer Sun immediately lines up with Uranus for a few days, just to add to the global drama.  Deep breaths.  As we move towards the Cancer new moon on the 28^th Mars aspects Pluto and the new moon pulls in Saturn aspects.  This will be an important new moon for planning resistance and collective action.

 LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) This month continues to be high-stress for all living things, I’m afraid.  It’s just a fact.  At least Mercury turns direct on the 3^rd, but it is almost at a standstill as it stations-direct so it is parked in a square to Saturn for the first ten days of the month. This is a great combination for deep mental work but you’re a bit tense.  Mars and Jupiter sit together in Aries for the first few days of the month, and you wonder why boys just can’t put down their guns… Venus in Taurus catches up to Uranus on the 11^th for a few days  of fun and connection and exciting creative stimulation.  (See- it’s not all bad!)  Then here comes the Sagittarius full moon on the 14^th with big aspects to Neptune, Mercury and Mars, and bringing heavy weather politically, emotionally, and literally.   This full moon will be crazy and confusing.  You may not know which end is up.  It will be hard to know hat is true, and god knows Libras hate that.  But Venus in Taurus meets up with the North Lunar Node, which is all about values of connection and relatedness—that is your North Star right now.   Follow that.  The Summer Solstice falls on the 21^st, when the Sun enters Cancer.  The Cancer Sun lines up with Uranus for a few days of global upset. Expect the unexpected.  Then the month ends with Mars-Pluto square and a Saturnian new moon in Cancer on the 28^th. That sounds bad but it is not—it is about hard work and mass mobilization.  Plan your resistance.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  Hmm.  Well, the world is a difficult place right now, but you knew that already.  At least Mercury retrograde turns direct on the 3^rd, but uh-oh, it slows down to a standstill and sits in a pesky angle to Saturn for the first 10 days of the month.   This is a good combination for focused mental work and yet it is also tense.  You might be stressed and slightly overwhelmed. But the by the 11^th Venus in Taurus catches up to Uranus for a few days of creative stimulation.  Enjoy that!  The Sagittarius full moon falls on the 14^th, and it lines up with Neptune, Mars and Mercury, making for big sloppy energy. You’re busy and doing a lot but you feel like you are on a different planet somehow, thanks to Neptune.  Things may not be what they appear.  At the same time Venus crosses over the North Lunar Node, emphasizing connection and community.  It’s the Summer Solstice on the 21^st when the Sun enters Cancer, and on this Solstice the Sun lines up with Uranus bringing the unexpected and more global drama.  Stay calm. As we approach the June 28^th new moon in Cancer Mars aspects Pluto, stimulating your desire o create plans and projects.  Saturn is involved in the new moon and you’re carrying a lot of responsibility.  Use Mars and Pluto to help you delegate.

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)  The Uranus upsets continue this month, I’m afraid, so put on your seatbelt and try to cultivate some equanimity.  At least Mercury turns direct on the 3^rd – whew! It was a rough one!  But Mercury slows down to a virtual standstill as it stations direct and spends a full 10 days sitting in a pesky angle to Saturn.   This is a great combination for analytic, deep mental work, and yet it is also stressful. Watch out for snappishness. By the 11^th Venus in taurus catches up to Uranus for a few days of creative stimulation.  Enjoy!  Then a big Sagittarius full moon falls on the 14^th, so you might be a big sloppy mess. This lunation brings angles to Neptune, Mars and Mercury. Your force field is huge and you might find yourself putting your foot in your mouth in grand Sagittarian style, so be careful. Think before you speak, honey.  Focus on the pretty Venus-North Node conjunction which is all about relationships and connectedness.  Then it’s the Summer Siolstice on the 21^st—yay!—although the Cancer Sun immediately lines up with Uranus to bring some global tumult.  Mars squares Pluto as we approach the end of the month and the Cancer New moon on the 28^th, bringing intense organizing energy your way.  The new moon has a strong Saturn influence. Time to mobilize and take action!

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  The stress and uncertainty continue this month, sorry to say.  It’s not my fault!  At least Mercury turns direct on the 3^rd, but it does park itself in an angle to Saturn for the first 10 days of the month, giving you a big fat stress headache.  It’s a good combination for deep thought and study but might make you tense.  Mars and Jupiter sit together in Aries also at the start of the month adding to people’s trigger-happy state.  Ugh.   By the 11^th Venus in Taurus meets up with Uranus for a few days of creative tension and stimulation.  Take advantage of it!  Then the Sagittarius full moon falls on the 14^th, along with angles to Neptune, Mercury and Mars.  This is a big, messy, and excessive lunation, confusing and weird.  If you can work your creative or visionary muscles you will be okay but be aware that people are stressed and confused, saying things that are just not true. Stay focused on the Venus-North Lunar Node conjunction which is all about values of connection and relatedness.  The it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21^st when the Suj enters your opposite sign of Cancer. On this solstice, however, the Cancer Sun lines up with Uranus for more unexpected tumult.   Don’t mourn, organize-  with the help of the Mars Pluto square coming up at the end of the month.  It’s time to plan for collective action, especially on the June 28^th New moon in Cancer.  The Saturn aspect on this new moon will give you particular oomph to make things happen.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  Like I have been saying – blame Uranus, your ruling planet. Please don’t blame your astrologer! The world is a mess and will continue to be for a while.  At least Mercury turns direct on the 3^rd, relieving you of some aggravation. But keep in mind that Mercury has slowed down to almost a standstill as it stations-direct and parks itself in an angle to Saturn for the first 10 days of the month.  This is a great combination for focus and deep mental work but it can also make you cranky around the edges.  By the 11^th Venus in Taurus catches up to your pal Uranus  for a few days of creativity and fun.  Then here comes the excessive and grandiose Sagittarian full moon on the 14^th, made even morsel by its angles to Mars, Neptune, and Mercury.  The Geminis and Sagittarians in your life will be more opinionated and bombastic than usual, so stay calm and ignore them.  Focus on Venus which cozies up to the North Lunar Node, putting the focus on relationships and connection.  Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21^st, when the Sun enters Cancer.  This time, the Sun immediately crosses paths with Uranus, stirring up more unexpected drama in the world.  The past week of the month Mars in Aries squares Pluto and you have energy to burn, throwing yourself into work, big projects, and collective action.  Good thing, because the Cancer new moon on the 28^th carries Saturn’s influence, and it’s all about work and responsibility.

 PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  So the tumultuousness continues this month, I’m afraid… Uranus is still on the earth axis, stirring up scary stuff.  But at least Mercury turns  direct on the 3^rd, relieving you of some irritation.  But—Mercury actually parks itself in an angle to Saturn for the first ten days of June, a pesky angle that creates some tension and crabbiness, although it is great for deep mental focus. Mars and Jupiter in Aries also sit together for a few days but Mars quickly pulls away, and we hope that will reduce the atmosphere of belligerence early in the month.  By the 11^th Venus in Taurus meets up with Uranus for a few days of creative spark.  Get yourself to the studio and make some art!   Then the big sloppy Sagittarius full moon comes on the 14^th along with big influences of your ruling planet Neptune, As wella s Mars and Mercury.  Either have a party or go on a meditation retreat but do something to channel this excessive energy.  People will be opinionated as hell  and confused about what’s true and what isn’t so you might want to avoid deep discussions with those conservative relatives. Focus on Venus’ conjunction with the North Lunar Node which is lovey-dovey and all about connection.  The Summer Solstice falls on the 21^st , when the Sun enters Cancer.  This time, the Sun immediately lines up with Uranus for a few days so expect the unexpected and expect global tumult.  The the month ends with an energetic Mars-Pluto square as we approach the June 28^th Cancer new moon.  Saturn is I the picture too so it’s all about work and collective mobilization.

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)   Yeah, well, you don’t need an astrologer to tell you that the world is a mess and sad to say, it doesn’t get much better this month.   Uranus continues to sit close to the earth axis stirring up all kinds of trouble. That is good for deep mental work but it is also tense and impatient., Be careful of this aspect, especially with Mars and Jupiter in your own sign fanning the flames of  belligerence.  By the 11^th Venus in Taurus catches up to Uranus for a few days of creativity and an urge for change. Use this energy to shake up some things in your life.  Then it’s the Sagittarian full moon on the 14^th, a big messy lunation if there ever were one, due to the strong Neptunian influences.  Your force field is bigger than you realize and you might put your foot in it.  With Mars and Mercury in the mix with Neptune it is all about the words.  Focus on Venus, which meets up with the North Lunar Node, and its emphasis on relationships and relatedness. The Summer Solstice falls on the 21^st when the Sun enters Cancer. This time around the Sun immediately aspects Uranus.  Uh oh. TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  Uranus continues to wreak havoc with the world this month, sad to say. At least Mercury turns direct on the 3^rd, giving you some relief, but as it slows down it parks itself in a pesky angle to Saturn for the first ten days of June. Oh, and did I mention Mercury is in Taurus?  The Mercury Saturn square is excellent for deep mental work but you’re tense around the edges.  Watch out for impatience.  By the 11^th Venus in your sign catches up to Uranus for a few days of creative stretch. Use it!  Then here comes the Sagittarian full moon on the 14^th, bringing in all kinds of sloppy Neptunian energy.  This is a big weather lunation, metaphorically and literally. People will be a mess, and throwing their confusion and messiness about, so you might be annoyed as hell.  Hey—it’s a great time for a meditation retreat or something.  Then it’s the Summer Solstice on June 21^st, when the Sun enters Cancer.  As it enters Cancer it lines up with Uranus for a few days of more global upsets. Deep breaths!  Mars aspects Pluto as we head toward the June 28^th New Moon in Cancer.  Don’t mourn—organize!  This is  all about collective action for change.  Use the new moon to scheme!
