ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  Well, it’s complicated…  Despite the beautiful April 1^st new moon, April starts off with some challenging dynamics.  Mercury in Aries catches up the Sun for the first 5 days, and your brain is on fire.  Yes, pay attention to all those inspired ideas.  But get ready –by the 3rd Mars in Aquarius is on top of Saturn and they both makes angles to the Lunar Nodes.  The Saturn -Mars part can be difficult unless you can push through your resistance and actually get something done.  It can be a good aspect for hard work but you might be feeling sluggish as hell, so apply yourself.  The Lunar Nodes, which sit in an aspect to Saturn all month, complicate things even more.  Saturn and the Nodes create some stress in relationships, some mismatched values and needs, and even separations.  Not easy.  And then of course we have Uranus bearing down on the Earth axis, bringing lots of  upsets, reversals, and changes to our lives and to the world as a whole. The good news is that Jupiter catches up to Neptune in Pisces and they spend the entire month together.   That is a lot of big, mushy, delicious energy, so even though Saturn and the Lunar Nodes make you cranky, use this deliciousness to let the love in.  Clear up any tension that might be bubbling in your relationships.  We get more Pisces action this month as well, when Venus enters Pisces on the 5^th and Mars on the 14^th.  The Libra full moon falls on the 16^th, and watch out.  The Sun and Moon make an angle to Pluto, surfacing issues about power.   Your force field is big on this full moon, and you are throwing your Aries weight around.  In fact, this Pluto aspect lasts til the 19^th, so try to be aware of your impact.  By the 17^th  Mercury in Taurus cozies up to Uranus for a few days, stimulating your nervous system.  Pay attention to your ideas!  The Sun enters Taurus on the 19^th, and makes an angle to Saturn and the Lunar Nodes for a few days of tension and a sense of deep responsibility.  The month ends with Venus in Pisces joining up with Jupiter and Neptune – now that’s a party!  And there is a powerful New moon and partial eclipse in Taurus on the 30^th.   Oooh!  It’s a lovefest! TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  And what a month it is!  It begins with a pesky Saturn -Mars conjunction during the first week.  This is a good combination for hard work, but it will be a slog.  You’ll get things done but with great bullish effort on your part.  In addition, Mars and Saturn make an angle to the Lunar Nodes, which have moved onto the Taurus/Scorpio axis, surfacing some stubbornness on your part. Saturn sits with the Nodes all month, putting the focus on relationships.  There will many people coming and going, lots of hellos and goodbyes, and not all of them predictable or desired. There are also likely to be interruptions in plans under this aspect, especially with Uranus in Taurus bearing down on the Earth axis and bringing the unexpected.  There are some delightful things happening as well – mainly that Jupiter catches up to Neptune in Pisces. This is big sloppy, watery energy.  So the comings and goings will bring reunions and effusive celebration.  Enjoy that.  And when I said watery, that includes literal water—it could be stormy.  The April 16^th Libra full moon has the Sun and Moon in a square to Pluto, and so there are likely to be power struggles. My advice is for you to lay very low on this lunation and to try to avoid travel! The Sun-Pluto aspect lasts for a good few days, until the Sun enters your sign of Taurus on the 19^th.    The Sun will make a potent angle to Saturn and the Lunar Nodes til the 22^nd, so tread gently in your relationships. People will be easily offended, with thin skins.  But the really  good news is that the end of the month is delightful.  Venus in Pisces catches up to Jupiter and Neptune on the Taurus new moon and eclipse on the 30^th.  This is juicy and delicious, full of love and celebration and creative expression.  Enjoy it all—and bring an umbrella!

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to cultivate as much equanimity as you can in the next two months because the aggravations will be many.  In fact, they start this week, when Mars catches up to Saturn in Aquarius for a week starting the 3rd, bringing up feelings of stuckness and not being able to get anything done.  To complicate matters Saturn squares the Lunar Nodes all month in Taurus and Scorpio, emphasizing people taking fixed positions, and bringing some stress into intimate relationships.  So yeah, people are bugging you, especially the Leos, Aquarians, Tauruses, and Scorpios in your life. Or, people are just not showing up for you because they’re too distracted by their own stuff.  (And I haven’t even mentioned Uranus which gets closer and closer to the Earth axis all month, continuing to wreak havoc on our planet…) Meanwhile Mercury passes the Aries Sun, and you are wanting movement and new goals.  Calm down. By the 5^th Venus loosens up some of the fixed energy as it moves into mushy-gushy Pisces, stimulating your emotional expression and romanticism.  Speaking of romanticism Jupiter in Pisces spends the whole month sitting with Neptune. That is a lot of big delicious emotional energy so there will be fulfillment and celebration even amidst the Saturnian tensions.   And by the 14^th Mars also enters Pisces.  The Libra full moon on the 16^th has the Sun and moon lined up with Pluto, and you will be looking for a way to make an impact.  The Pluto effect lasts til the 19^th, and there might be power struggles.  The month ends beautifully with a Taurus new moon and partial eclipse on the 30^th, and it will be a lovefest since Venus in Pisces joins up with Jupiter and Neptune.  Enjoy!

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  This isn’t the easiest month, I am afraid, but it ends well.  It begins with not only the Aries new moon on the 1^st but with Mars catching up to Saturn in Aquarius for the first week.  The Aries new moon has you wanting to get things done and then here come Mars and Saturn, saying, nope, no can do.  It is a hard week to get things done and you are feeling stressed.  Deep breaths. When you relax into it, a pathway will emerge.  Meanwhile Saturn spends the entire month in a square to the Lunar Nodes, so people are caught up in their own crises and not paying attention to anything but their own needs.  There’s not a lot you can do except enjoy the bright spot of the month, the Jupiter-Neptune  conjunction in Pisces.  Now that is a lot of expansive watery energy that will feel good to you, so indulge in fulfillment, creativity, and fun. And to add to the Pisces in the air, Venus enters Pisces on the 5^th and Mars on the 14^th, a welcome relief  from  the  pileup in Aquarius that we have had.  Then the Libra full moon falls on the 16^th , bringing in a heavy Pluto influence, so besides fretting about the state of the world you are also feeling  a need to speak truth to power somewhere in your life.  Be thoughtful about this because people are thin-skinned and not taking challenges well right now. Just hang on til the end of the month when Venus in Pisces catches up to the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, and it is a party, especially on the Taurus new moon and eclipse on the 30^th.   This is a beautiful combination for fulfillment and celebration .

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) I will get right to it: the next couple of months are challenging but the bright spots are very bright, and it’s important that you celebrate them.  First, the April 1 new moon in Aries gave you a rush of purposefulness, only to be met by the blockade of Saturn and Mars in Aquarius a few days later.  Yup, you won’t get much done the first week of April, so just go with it.  There is no sense in beating yourself up about it.  Meanwhile just to complicate things, Saturn spends the entire month in an angle to the Lunar Nodes, and all of this in fixed signs of Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio.  So you will be very aggravated by people not showing up for you, being caught up in their own dramas and adding to your stress.  So that bright spot I mentioned?  It is Jupiter in Pisces catching up to Neptune all month, bringing fulfillment, creativity and fun.  Try to transcend your aggravation by enjoying art and music and people.  Venus enters Pisces on the 5^th and Mars on the 14^th so they too will help loosen up the energy.  The full moon in Libra falls on the 16^th and lines up with Pluto.  You will want to use sheer force of will to move a situation forward but I am afraid that this is not a good time for force, so be careful of power struggles.  The Saturn-Lunar Node business makes people not respond well to challenges. Hang on til the end of the month when there is a gorgeous new moon and eclipse in Taurus on the 30^th along with Venus joining up with Jupiter and Neptune.  Just enjoy, be grateful for what and who you have.  That’s all you can do.

 VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  The next couple of months are ridiculous – stressful and also with big big big bright spots.  So take a deep breath and read on.  April began with a goal-oriented new moon in Aries on the 1^st but then was immediately followed by a roadblock on the 3^rd.  Ugh. We get a week of Mars Saturn, which is a slog. You really have to push to get anything done.  Meanwhile just to complicate things, Saturn is in an exact square to the Lunar Nodes all month, and all of it in fixed signs.  People are stubborn and sensitive and overwhelmed all at once.  Many people are putting demands on you, and you are feeling like you are on your own, without much backup. But—I promised bright spots, and here they are.  Don’t forget for a minute that Jupiter in Pisces sits with Neptune all month, and this is a delicious and emotionally fulfilling combination.  So find your moments of enjoyment wherever you can. And—by the 5^th Venus moves into your opposite sign of Pisces and the Mars on the 14^th, easing up the emotional energy for everyone.  The Libra full moon on the 16^th packs a punch since the Sun and Moon line up with Pluto.  This is not a good time to force anything – no one is taking well to having demands made of them.   Just sit tight til the end of the month when Venus in Pisces meets up with Jupiter and Neptune on the Taurus New moon and eclipse of April 30.  Wow!  That is beautiful – completion, fulfillment, celebration, love and creativity.  Enjoy.

 LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) What a month!  It began on the 1st with a goal-oriented New moon in your opposite sign of Aries. Forget about those goals, though, because by the 3^rd Mars met up with Saturn and suddenly everything is a slog. It’s hard to get stuff done this week and you feel pressured and stressed.   This combination is complicated by Saturn making an exact angle to the Lunar Nodes all month, and all of this falls in fixed signs.  People are stubborn and demanding and extremely thin-skinned. There are a lot of comings and goings, some celebratory and some aggravating. The celebration part is great, thanks to Jupiter which sits with Neptune all month in Pisces.  So there will be reunions and excess and fun—all good, and back to back with other people being impossibly demanding.  The 16^th brings a potent full moon in your own sign, and it is likely to be a challenging one for you because the Sun and Moon line up with Pluto.  You want to make an impact on things that are outside of your control, and you just can’t.  (And oh, did I mention that Uranus is bearing down on the Earth axis, causing more global angst?) Frustration is running high, especially if you are a very late Libra.  Just hang on til the end of the month, when the Taurus new moon and eclipse on the 30^th coincide with Venus catching up to Neptune and Jupiter.  Omg !  So much delicious emotional energy, so much to be grateful for, so much to celebrate.  Enjoy!

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  April continues to be tumultuous but with some bright spots.  You flew into action with the Aries new moon on the 1^st, then hit some roadblocks, thanks to the Mars Saturn conjunction which went into effect on the 3^rd and lasts about a week.  You want to work hard and plow through a task but you can’t right now. Just relax—the work will wait.  Meanwhile to complicate matters Saturn spends the month in a square to the Lunar Nodes which have moved into the Taurus-Scorpio axis, stressing you and taxing relationships.  People are in crisis and making demands on you. You have too much to do and don’t really want to carry all these people on your back…and of course, Uranus in Taurus is hurtling towards the Earth axis, bringing more reversals and surprises.  The bright spot is that Jupiter spends the month sitting with Neptune in Pisces, and that is all about fulfillment and celebration and big feelings. Ride the waves of that deliciousness! The Libra full moon falls on the 16^th, and you might be inclined to force your prodigious will onto something or someone.  Be careful—people are thin-skinned and sensitive and not taking well to your Scorpionic powers of persuasion.    Hang on til the end of the month when Venus in Pisces catches up to Jupiter and Neptune for a big celebration of life and love and spirit and creativity, right in time for the gorgeous new moon and eclipse in Taurus on the 30^th.  Enjoy!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)  Put on your seatbelt and buckle up.  It’s quite a month.  The Aries new moon on the 1^st just stressed you out – too much to do, not enough time.  Mars in Aquarius joins up with Saturn for a week starting on the 3rd, adding to your workload and then all of a sudden, you cant get anything done.  All you can do is relax into it, and take advantage of the delicious Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in effect all month.  This combination is all about expansive expression, love and celebration, so throw your deadlines out the window and enjoy the Spring. Keep in mind that Saturn spends all of April in a square to the Lunar Nodes, all in fixed signs. People are demanding a lot from you, and there are a lot of comings and goings, not all of them expected.  Everyone is thin-skinned, overwhelmed, and stubborn, so find those moments of joyfulness and celebration where you can.  The Libra full moon falls on the 16^th and lines up with Pluto. You might be inclined to throw your Sagittarian weight around—people may not respond well, so beware of power struggles.  Hang on til the end of the month and the gorgeous new moon  and eclipse in Taurus, along with Venus  crashing the Neptune Jupiter party.  And it will be a party! Whatever you do, do it big and excessively, and have lots of fun celebrating life and love!

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  Unfortunately we are in a season of stress and uncertainty,  so be sure to grab onto the bright spots as much as you can. And trust me, there are bright spots this month.  However April begins with  a bossy new moon in Aries on the 1^st, followed shortly by Mars catching up to Saturn on the 3^rd for about a week. Oy vey.  You will want to get a lot done but you might be stymied.  So just enjoy the break and have some fun.  After all, Jupiter and Neptune spend  the month sitting together in Pisces. That is a definite bright spot so listen up!  Jupiter and Neptune are expansive and bring a sense of belonging and meaning.   Explore your creative  side.  To complicate the Saturn situation, Saturn spends the month in a square to the Lunar Nodes, so everyone is a mess and people in your life are making a lot of demands on you.  It is your nature to step up to the task and support your people, but be sure to enjoy your life and this Jupiter Neptune aspect.  The April 16 full moon is a complicated one, with strong Pluto influences.  You will be attempting to exert your Capricornia n will and people may not want that, so pay attention to your force field through the 19^th.   Just chill til the end of the month when April 30^th brings a gorgeous new moon and eclipse in Taurus, and Venus  in Pisces catches up to Jupiter and Neptune. That should be one heckuva good time so enjoy!   Be  generous and fulfilled, and share the love!.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  Yes, these are important and complicated months for you lately because of all the action in fixed signs in a context of great global uncertainty and tumult.  You and your other fixed signs of Taurus, Leo and Scorpio just want things to go a certain way, and they may not… Just sayin’.  The month begins with a purposeful new moon in Aries on the 1st but by the 3^rd Mars in Aquarius meets up with Saturn for a week of feeling stressed out. Too much work, too much everything.  It’s a slog. And, pesky Saturn is in a square to the Lunar Nodes all month, so people ain’t acting right.  They are stressed and thin-skinned, and need a lot of support.  The bright spot in this is that Jupiter meets up with Neptune in Pisces for the whole month, and this beautiful and expansive combination is about connection and oneness.  It’s also about having a really good time.  So let go of the stress and annoyance, even though Uranus in Taurus is moving towards the Earth axis and bringing more surprises our way.  The April 16^th full moon is a potent one with heavy Pluto action. You may feel like forcing an issue or an agenda, and it won’t work. There will be too much pushback.  Just hang on til the end of the month, when Venus in Pisces joins up with Jupiter and Neptune just in time for the gorgeous  Taurus new moon and eclipse on the 30^th.  This really requires celebration and gratitude and pulling your loved ones close.  Let in the love!

 PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  The world is complicated and strange, and this month it gets even stranger… April begins with an energetic new moon in Aries on the 1^st but then is followed on the 3^rd by Mars in Aquarius catching up to Saturn.  Uh-oh.  Al of a sudden you feel stuck and can’t get anything done.  If you can relax into this energy you might be able to pull off a very focused piece of work – getting your garden ready for spring, for instance.  But keep in mind that Saturn is aspecting the Lunar Nodes all month, and all of it occurs in fixed signs of Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio.   Oh people are weird—stubborn and demanding and overwhelmed all at once.  All you can do in the face of this is focus on the Jupiter Neptune conjunction in Pisces and  have a good time.  This combination is beautiful and expansive and emotionally full full full  – right up your alley.  Saturn and the Nodes will bring lots of comings and goings this month but some of them will be celebratory, so enjoy.  And—Venus enters Pisces on the 5^th followed by Mars on the 14^th, just to add to the “substance of we-feeling.” The April 16^th full moon is dicey, with strong Pluto influences, so there will be a lot of unconscious willfulness going around.  Just hang on til the end of the month which is like a Piscean dream come true:  Venus in Pisces catches up to Jupiter and Neptune  on the April 30 new moon and eclipse in Taurus!   It is a trifecta of mushy, celebratory, loving energy!  Enjoy!
