GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Well! June starts with the somewhat strange influence of the Mercury-Jupiter opposition, which for some reason has felt a lot like Mercury retrograde, probably because Neptune is also in the picture and makes details and plans get very sloshy. Go figure – appointments cancel unexpectedly, windshields break, etc. Thankfully it ends by the Gemini new moon on the 3rd, which is a lunation that is great for generating new ideas. Enjoy the next few days, because by the 8th the slightly vexing transits begin. Yup. The Sun in Gemini opposes Jupiter in Sag and they both
square Neptune in Pisces from the 8th til 13th. Many things in your life will be sliding around and you have a sense of too many moving parts, giving you some unsettledness. You just have to go with the flow and try not to tax your Gemini brain with figuring things out, since you won’t be able to. This is a great combination, however, for fun and excess, so forget about work and enjoy. Be careful of your bank account though—Jupiter and Neptune could drain it fast this month. By the 13th you start feeling squeezed: Mercury joins up with Mars in Cancer and they both oppose Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn for some days of intense work, aggravation, and even frustration. The intensity is exaggerated by the Sagittarian full moon on the 17th. The world will be an even bigger mess than it’s been and some of the stress you’re feeling is global. You’re agitated and feisty, and perhaps should consider a meditation retreat (seriously!) Then it is the Summer Solstice on the 21st when the Sun enters Cancer. Oy veh—it immediately makes an angle to Pluto. At least Venus in your own sign of Gemini opposes Jupiter in Sag and squares Neptune for a few days on the 23rd, so you can kick back and enjoy spending time with loved ones, the world be damned.
CANCER (JUNE 21- JULY 21) June is a strange month indeed! The first few days of June have Mercury in Gemini opposing Jupiter in Sag and both planets squaring Neptune, which should be great for communication but carries a kind of Mercury-retrograde effect. That means concrete details of your life are sloshing around, and nothing can stay nailed down. You have to go with it, and let the bigness of the energy inspire and move you. It is also a great combination for having fun, and don’t worry about overindulging. There is a very stimulating Gemini new moon on the 3rd, so use it to
generate new ideas and connections. Enjoy the next few days because things get more complicated starting on the 8th, when the Gemini Sun gets involved with Jupiter and Neptune. Life will feel strange and unsettled, not all together bad, but unpredictable. These planets represent a huge current of energy that you can’t control and can’t quite see where it’s taking you. So let it take you. By the 13th things get more stressful. Mercury pairs up with Mars in Cancer and they oppose Saturn and Pluto. Oy vey! It is a good time to do some detailed, nudgy piece of work – clean out your basement or edit a manuscript, for example– and please avoid squabbling and arguments. There is a heightened sense of global angst and worry, and people are on edge. My advice to you, o watery crab, is to head to the water or least into your bathtub. The 17th brings a hellious full moon in Sagittarius which exaggerates all the tension and fear rolling around the universe. The Summer Solstice occurs on the 21st when the Sun enters your sign of Cancer. Yay! Try to ignore the Saturn Pluto aspects and celebrate summer. Venus in Gemini opposes Jupiter in Sag and squares Neptune on the 23rd for a few days of conviviality.
LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) Jeez. The word of the month is excess. Excessive angst and excessive indulgence. June begins with Mercury in Gemini opposing Jupiter and squaring Neptune. Wow, that feels a lot like Mercury retrograde. Things are slippery and plans aren’t staying still. You have to just go with it because there is nothing you can do but let yourself be inspired. There is a pretty new moon in Gemini on the 3rd, a wonderful lunation for new ideas and connections. Enjoy
relative calm until June 8th, when the Sun gets involved with Jupiter and Neptune until the 13th. This is all about excess—excessive unsettledness, excessive juggling, excessive spending, excessive conviviality… You get the picture. Then the global intensity sets in and you feel crazed when Mercury catches up to Mars in Cancer and they both oppose Saturn and Pluto. You’ll be feeling downright combative, especially when the Sagittarian full moon on the 17th exaggerates bombast. Be careful during this period—everyone is on edge and big-picture dynamics are stressing everyone out. This set of planetary influences is really good, however, for getting things done, for attacking a bear of a job. Paint the house or something. The Summer Solstice occurs on the 21st when the Sun enters Cancer—yay! Then by the 23rd Venus in Gemini opposes Jupiter and squares Neptune for a nice few days of fun and connection with loved ones.
VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) June begins with the unsettling lineup of Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune, making you feel like Mercury is retrograde even though it isn’t. Plans and details are sloshing around, and you can’t pin anything down. This dissipates by the Gemini new moon on the 3rd, a nice one for new ideas and connections. Enjoy a calm week until the 8th, when things start getting weird. The Sun gets involved in the Jupiter-Neptune square, and this combination occurs entirely in the mutable signs of Gemini, Sag and Pisces, leaving you to feel the brunt of it. That means you feel like too many parts of your life are in flux, are moving around. You’re juggling many
things, and although you thought you knew where it was all heading, all of a sudden things seem slippery. You just have to go with the current, and a big current it is. These are rather big, expansive energies, so allow yourself to be carried along while watching out for overdoing, overindulging, overspending. Then by the 16th Mercury joins up with Mars in Cancer and they both oppose Saturn and Pluto. Ugh. This is hard, stressful, scary, and you are afraid the world will explode. Everyone is on edge and even argumentative, especially around the Sagittarian full moon on the 17th; we will all feel the pressures from the global situation. Try to stay calm during this stretch and not fall into scrappiness. Believe it or not, it is a good time to get a nudgy piece of work accomplished, so that is a good way to distract yourself from right-wing shenanigans of an extreme variety. The Sun enters Cancer on the 21st and it’s summer—yay! By the 23rd Venus in Gemini opposes Jupiter and squares Neptune for a few days of fun and intimacy.
LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) What can I say? The weirdness continues this month, with some bright spots at the beginning and the end. June begins with a slightly strange lineup of Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune… It almost feels like Mercury retrograde although it isn’t… It is hard to make plans, or rather, the plans you make slip through your fingers. If you can go
with the flow, you’ll be fine… and this directive holds for most of the month! The Gemini new moon falls on the 3rd, and it’s a good one for connections and new ideas. Then things start getting chunky by the 8th, when the Sun lines up with Jupiter and Neptune, an even stronger sense of unsettledness than you had at the start of the month. There is nothing you can do but ride these currents and see where they bring you. It requires trusting where it’s taking you even if you feel uncertain. It’s also good to suspend trying to figure anything out – a bit hard for the likes of you, I know. Then, it’s seat belt time: by the 16th Mercury in Cancer meets up with Mars and they both oppose Saturn and Pluto. That’s a lot of energy of struggle, good for pushing through an awful task but hard on the nerves. The world will be insane and you and everyone else will feel it. Everyone is on edge and spoiling for a fight; the full moon in Sag on the 17th will make everyone feel like they have the answer, and you want none of it. Hole up and get some work done. Then the Sun enters cancer on the 21st, welcoming in summer. Yay! By the 23rd Venus in Gemini opposes Jupiter for some days of fulfilling relationship action. Neptune is in the picture too and so feelings are running big big big! Enjoy!
SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) June begins with some very unsettled planetary influences: Mercury in Gemini lines up with Jupiter and Neptune to make you feel like Mercury is retrograde even though it isn’t. You can’t pin anything down and plans slip through your fingers. You’re juggling a lot of details but they can’t come together. All you can do is go with this. It abates by the Gemini new moon on the 3rd, when all that up-in-the-airness should get more grounded. This new
moon is great for connections and new ideas. You can coast for a few days until The Sun in Gemini meets up with Jupiter and Neptune, and that sense of dissipating, diffusing energy is back, and this time moreso. It feels like many parts of your life are slipping and sliding around , and you’re overwhelmed by feelings about past, present, and future. Again, all you can do is move with the currents and trust you’ll land where you need to. Things get chunky starting on the 16th when Mercury and Mars in Cancer oppose Saturn and Pluto, bringing a lot of struggle your way. It’s a good time to get a difficult project accomplished, and stay away from the jaggedy tension that many people are feeling. The world is a mess and people are freaked out. Tempers are short, especially around the bombastic Sagittarian full moon on the 17th. Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st, when the Sun enters Cancer. Yay. By the 23rd Venus in Gemini opposes Jupiter for some days of fun and good connections with loved ones. Jupiter and Neptune enhance the good feeling.
SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) Oh honey, so many mutable planets this month making your life rather weird. June begins with Mercury in Gemini opposing Jupiter in Sag and squaring Neptune in Pisces. See what I mean – mutable. This feels like Mercury is retrograde even though it isn’t: plans are sliding around, there are unexpected delays and changes and all you can do is go with it. The Gemini new moon falls on the 3rd, a great one for new ideas and connections. You
can relax til the 8th when the Gemini Sun gets involved with Jupiter and Neptune for a good few days. This influence is like what just occurred at the beginning of June but more intense. You are juggling many things and suddenly everything is moving in a different direction and you can’t tell what is up. These are big energies, and all you can do is ride the currents, enjoy the expansiveness, and see where you end up. You cannot force anything but have to go with it. Then get ready for some intensity…. By the 16th Mercury joins up with Mars in Cancer and they both oppose Saturn and Pluto. This brings pressure, struggle, and stress, I’m afraid, and all against the backdrop of the Sag full moon on the 17th. The world is a mess, and everyone is thin-skinned, scrappy and scared. Be careful of your own Sagittarian bombast and righteousness during this stretch and avoid arguments as much as possible. It is, however, a great time to get some difficult, detailed work done, so get to it. The Sun enters Cancer on the 21st for the Summer Solstice. Venus in Gemini opposes Jupiter in Sag on the 23rd for a few days of juicy relationship dynamics. Neptune is in the picture as well, amplifying all the big feelings. Enjoy.
CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19) June begins with a slightly odd lineup of Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune. It feels like Mercury is retrograde although it isn’t … plans are slippery and changing and you can’t get a handle on things. But it is also kind of expansive and fun. It abates by the Gemini new moon on the 3rd, a great one for new ideas and connections.
Enjoy the next few days, at least til the 8th when the Sun catches up with Jupiter and Neptune and you won’t know which end is up. It will feel like getting hit by a large wave, getting rolled around the water and not being sure where you will be dumped back on the shore. Parts of your life that you thought were stable will suddenly be in motion. This is not completely un-enjoyable but it is discomfiting. All you can do is go with it. Then things get chunky by the 16th, and it is a whole other ball game. Mercury and Mars in Cancer oppose Saturn and Pluto, and the stress level globally ratchets up and up. Everyone is on edge, and you are twitchy with unease. The Sagittarius full moon on the 17th makes arguing a bad idea – everyone thinks they have the answer and is willing to fight over it. Use this period to get a challenging piece of work done, rather than argue over economic and political theory. Then the Sun enters Cancer on the 21st and it’s the Summer Solstice. Yay! Venus in Gemini catches up to the Jupiter-Neptune square by the 23rd for some days of big, big, loving energy. Enjoy!
AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) Ah…there are two contrasting influences this month – an expansive Jupiter-Neptune square, and the relentlessly constricting Saturn Pluto conjunction. Huh? Weird, that’s all. June begins with Mercury lined up with Jupiter and Neptune, so it feels like Mercury is retrograde, even if it isn’t. Plans cannot come together, no matter
how hard you try. Just go with it, since things will sort themselves out by the June 3rd Gemini new moon, a great lunation for connections and ideas. Relax for just a few days until the 8th when a giant wave hits you in the form of the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune. Oh honey—the wave will hit and spin you around and you thought you knew where you were going but all of a sudden you don’t. It is not unpleasant but it sure as hell is unsettling. In fact, it may even be fun, all this expansive energy (and expensive—Jupiter and Neptune run through money). Things get heavy on the 16th, as Mercury and Mars in Cancer oppose Saturn and Pluto and we all think the End Times are here. People are thin-skinned and edgy. The Sagittarius full moon on the 17th surface a lot of righteous opining. Ignore it and get a lot of work done. This combination is great for focused activity. Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st when the Sun enters Cancer—yay! Venus gets involved with Jupiter and Neptune on the 23rd for a good few days of love and sweetness, amplified by the expansiveness of those two gassy planets.
PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) I am afraid that the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sag, and Pisces bear the brunt of some of the planetary dynamics this month. That means you, honey. First, June begins with a strange lineup of Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune., making you feel like Mercury is retrograde even though it isn’t. You can’t nail down a single plan and everything is shifting around. All you can do is go with it. Then the Gemini new moon falls on the 3rd, bringing lots of new ideas and connections. Relax for a few days until weirdness strikes again around the 8th, when the Sun opposes Jupiter
and squares Neptune in a trifecta of mutable signs. All of a sudden a giant wave hits you and tumbles you around, and things you thought you knew, you don’t and parts of your life you thought were stable, are not. It isn’t bad but it sure as hell is unsettling. But put on your seatbelt because here comes the stressful part. By the 16th Mercury and Mars in Cancer oppose Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and we are in for a particularly angst-y time. Yes, even more angst-y. The world is scary and everyone is on edge. The Sagittarian full moon exaggerates the sense of outrage and righteousness. Avoid opining and fighting over opinions right now. The planets are actually conducive to getting a difficult piece of work accomplished, so clean out your basement or something. Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st when the Sun enters Cancer. Yay! Go to the beach, and enjoy the Venus combinations on the 23rd, when Venus, Jupiter and Neptune to make feelings big and and loving and celebratory.
ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19) Well, it’s quite a month. June begins with a slippery aspect of Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune, and it feels like Mercury is retrograde even though it isn’t. Plans are changing, nothing is stable. All you can do is go with it. The Gemini new moon occurs on the 3rd and it’s a good one for ideas and conceptualization. Enjoy the next few days
since the middle of the month brings some challenges your way. By the 8th the Gemini Sun gets involved with Jupiter and Neptune. This expansive force is unsettling, knocking you for a loop. Things you thought were stable in your life may not be, and you have the sense you’re standing on shifting sands. The key is to move with the currents and not fight them. You’ll need this sense of greater meaning when things hit the fan by the 16th, and your faith will be tested. Mercury and Mars in Cancer line up in opposition to Saturn and Pluto—not fun. That is some very combative energy, and the world will be an even scarier mess than it has been. And it occurs against the backdrop of the Sagittarian full moon on the 17th, so beware of bombast and misplaced righteousness. Use this planetary combination to get a very challenging task accomplished – or to plan a revolution. Then it’s the Summer Solstice on June 21st when the Sun enters Cancer. Yay! By the 23rd Venus catches up to Neptune and Jupiter, and it’s all about expansive love…. Enjoy.
TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) Oy. This month is dominated by two very contradictory influences: the expansive Jupiter Neptune square and the relentless contraction of the Saturn and Pluto conjunction. Stay nimble, is all I can say. June begins with Mercury in Gemini in aspect to Jupiter-Neptune. It feels a bit like Mercury retrograde – plans are changing and nothing is what you thought. All you can do is go with the flow, and the flow is about to get a lot bigger. You get a few days of calm with the Gemini new moon on the 3rd, great for communication and clarity. Then by the 8th the Gemini Sun catches up to the Jupiter-Neptune square. More unexpected transitions and you have to tack and change direction. Be
responsive to the changing winds and currents and you’ll be fine, but things you thought were stable and settled are not and everything is subjected to big waves of change right now. Then the struggles begin around the 16th when Mercury and Mars in Cancer oppose Saturn and Pluto. This is nettlesome, stressful, aggravating, and scary. Just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse…Sigh.. And it occurs against the backdrop of a righteous Sagittarian full moon. Be careful of arguing and struggle – let me be frank, don’t fight. Everyone is thin-skinned and capable of Sagittarian verbal blundering. Get a good piece of work done under these planetary influences which do give you the capacity for great focus. Then the Sun enters Cancer on the 21st and it’s the Summer Solstice. Yay! Venus catches up to the Jupiter Neptune square on the 23rd for a good few days of big love. Enjoy.
