PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  Oh -me –oh- my-oh! March brings two full moons and Mercury retrograde! The first full moon falls on March 1st, a juicy full moon in Virgo with very agreeable aspects. Mercury and Venus in Pisces team up for the first week of the month and for the first few days, Mars in Sag is in the picture too.   You’re busy and convivial and having fun. It’s a good week for taking in some music or art, or better yet, making music, especially since the Sun in Pisces catches up to Neptune also for the first few days of March. You’re a space cadet but enjoying it. In fact, savor these days of spaciness since the vibe is about to change. On the 6th Mercury and Venus both enter Aries, making you more purposeful and focused. But Mercury and Venus continue to move forward as a pair for most of the month, which is great for communication. And, Jupiter and Saturn also continue to move in tandem and so you’re comfortably moving forward with plans and decisions especially about money and resources. Mars in Sag squares the Sun for a few days of activity near the new moon in Pisces on the 17th. It’s a good new moon for setting goals. The Sun enters Aries for the Spring Equinox on the 20th, still squaring Mars which enters Capricorn on the 17th. This busy square is quite tight for a solid week and still exerts influence til the end of March. Busy busy busy. Meanwhile Mercury in Aries goes retrograde on the 22nd, throwing a wrench into all of your Sun-Mars plans. Remember to go with the flow. As it retrogrades, Venus moves away from it and squares Pluto for a few days around the 24th. All that conviviality gives way to more serious relationship matters and issues about commitment. But then Venius catches up to Uranus and you’re wanting change. The month ends with a whopper—a full moon in Libra with intense Saturn-Mars –Pluto dynamics on the 31st.   Watch out for power struggles.

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19) Oh baby!   What an interesting and…shall we say, dynamic month. It begins with a Virgo full moon on the 1st which in addition to heightening the areas of your life that need some organization, brings delicious Mercury-Venus-Mars action. This means you’ll feel inspired to get things done and have fun while doing it. The Mercury-Venus conjunction lasts most of the month, first in Pisces and then in Aries, and it emphasizes talking and singing and exchanging ideas, especially when Mars in Sag is also in the picture for the first few days of the month. It is a great time for making music and art. The Sun-Neptune conjunction for the first 5-6 days of March also has you being particularly receptive, so enjoy the spiritual and artistic inspiration. Venus and Mars both enter Aries on the 6th and you’ll be less spacey and more focused. Mars enters Capricorn on the 17th , just in time for a new moon in Pisces. A couple of days later on the 20th the Sun enters your own sign, marking the Spring Equinox, and it moves into a square to Mars which lasts pretty much for the rest of the month. That’s a pretty intense bundle of headlong cardinal energy, my friend – the Sun paired with Mars, your ruling planet, and the two of them acting as one bombastic force. Keep an eye on your force field! Meanwhile Mercury in Aries turns retrograde on the 22nd.   You’ll be barreling head first while your mind and mouth are moving sideways – that will be fun. (I always find Merc retrograde in my own sign a bit vexing, just sayin’…) Venus squares Pluto for a few days on the 24th, making you all serious and deep regarding relationships, followed by a quick Venus-Uranus conjunction that brings your creative vision to the fore. Then on the 31st there is Libra full moon with feisty Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. Power struggles abound. You might want to lay low for this one!

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) Ooh what a month! It begins with a delightful full moon in Virgo on the 1st. The juicy Mercury-Venus conjunction – in effect for most of the month– favors communication of all kinds. It’s a convivial little combination. For the first few days of March, Mars in Sag squares Venus and Mercury, bringing you lots of energy for work and for creative expression. You’re able to get a lot done with a fair amount of ease and fun. The Sun in Pisces is also conjunct Neptune, so your creative juices are running high and are accessible to you. The Jupiter-Saturn aspects of the last couple of months continue through March, so you have a boost when it comes to planning and financial decision-making. Mercury and Venus enter Aries on the 6th, but they continue to move as a team, continuing the emphasis on communication (speaking, writing, singing!) for the first half of the month. Mars in late Sag squares the Sun in Pisces on the 17th, just in time for the new moon in Pisces. This is a good new moon for planning and setting goals. Then, get ready: the Sun enters Aries on the 20th, marking the Spring Equinox (yay!), and then on the 22nd, Mercury turns retrograde. The Sun is paired up with Mars by an angle, inspiring you to make plans and be very active but Mercury retro may change those plans. It’s a contradictory combination, so you will have to manifest some patience! Venus squares Pluto for a few days around the 24th, allowing you to dive deeply in regard to intimacy. Then Venus quickly catches up to Uranus in Aries, inspiring new creative vision. The month ends with a difficult full moon in Libra on the 31st that brings intense and combative Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. It’s good for focused work but you may want to avoid people…

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  Well, well, March is an interesting little month Not so little, actually!   It begins on the 1st with a juicy full moon in Virgo that brings in quite delightful Mercury-Venus-Mars aspects. Mercury and Venus spend much of the month moving forward as a team, first in Pisces and then in Aries. This is a great combination for communication, for art and music, for connecting with others, especially at the start of the month when Mars in Sag squares the two. The Sun also spends a few days conjunct Neptune at the beginning of March, so you definitely want to soak up some music, art, and dance. Things remain calm until Mars in Sag squares the Sun in Pisces on the 7th, just in time for the new moon in Pisces. Use this new moon to set some goals for yourself. The Mars influence makes you very busy indeed. The Sun enters Aries on the 20th for the Spring Equinox, and the Mars effect continues since Mars is in the early degrees of Capricorn. That is a lot of very active cardinal energy which then may go a bit sideways when Mercury in Aries turns retrograde on the 22nd. You will have to go with the flow, and remember, no big decisions. Venus squares Pluto for a few days on the 24th and you’ll be asking yourself deep questions about relationships. The month ends with a chunky full moon in Libra on the 31st with intense Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. Try to avoid a fight!

CANCER (JUNE 21- JULY 21) Ooh, March is juicy! It begins with a full moon in Virgo on March 1st that occurs with pretty Mercury-Venus-Mars aspects. In fact, Mercury and Venus march in tandem for much of the month, first in Pisces and then in Aries by the 6th. For the first few days, these two planets square Mars in Sag. That is a big bundle of fun, chatty, creative and convivial energy. Enjoy! At the same time the Sun is conjunct Neptune so you have no choice but to go to the movies or binge-watch The Crown or go out and hear music. Better yet, make music. The Mercury-Venus combo is the major aspect until the 17th, when Mars squares the Sun on the new moon. This is an excellent new moon for planning and goal-setting. And then Mars moves forward yoked to a square to the Sun for pretty much the rest of the month, making you busy indeed. The Sun enters Aries on the 20th for the Spring Equinox, and on the 22nd, Mercury in Aries turns retrograde. Uh-oh. The Sun and Mars are being very forceful and goal oriented and then here comes Mercury retro, throwing a spanner into the works. Plans may go awry, and with all of this occurring in fellow cardinal signs, you will be affected.. Go with the flow and expect some sideways communication. Then on the 31st there is the second full moon of the month: this is a chunky one in Libra with fractious Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. Lay low for this one!

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) March is a quite fun month, that is, if you like two full moons and Mercury retrograde! There is a Virgo full moon on the 1st, and you are brimming with ideas. Seriously, a Mercury -Venus conjunction dominates March for just about three weeks and this combination brings lots of conviviality and communication. For the first few days of March Mars in Sag squares Venus and Mercury, adding oomph and energy to the interchanges. The Sun is conjunct Neptune at the same time, emphasizing creativity. Mercury and Venus both enter Aries on the 6th, and they continue to march forward. Nice! By the new moon on the 17th Mars squares the Sun, and so it is a good new moon for setting goals and for planning. This Sun-Mars square operates for the rest of the month, inspiring a lot of activity and busy-ness. The Spring Equinox occurs on the 20th, when the Sun enters Aries. It’s followed two days later by Mercury turning retrograde in Aries. Oy! The Sun-Mars square will emphasize action and forward motion while Mercury retrograde pulls you into dreamtime. You will have to go with the flow and not be attached to schedules. Venus squares Pluto for a few days of deep work in relationships, followed by a conjunction with Uranus that makes you want to get out of Dodge. The month ends with a challenging full moon in Libra on the 31st that carries chunky Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. People are spoiling for a fight.

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) Oh, honey! Your month starts with a bang—a Virgo full moon on the 1st, no less! But it’s a pretty one, with nice Mercury –Venus –Mars aspects that emphasize communication and shared effort. The Sun is also conjunct Neptune for the first few days of the month and you would do well to indulge your creative self or at least partake of others’ creative work. Go look at art and hear some music. The Mercury-Venus conjunction operates for the first three weeks of March, which is wonderful for communication and interchange. Enjoy! By March 17th, Mars in Sag squares the Sun in time for the Pisces new moon. This is a great new moon for planning and goal setting, which are also aided by the Jupiter-Saturn angle that continues to favor planning and good sense. The Sun enters Aries on the 20th, marking the Spring Equinox. Mars in Capricorn squares the Sun, adding to the practical, goal-oriented energy that is all around.   The Mercury in Aries turns retrograde on the 22nd, flying in the face of all that forceful Sun-Mars energy. Communication and schedules will go haywire and people will be crabby about it. You will need to go with the flow.   Venus spends a few days squaring Pluto on the 24th, followed by a conjunction to Uranus. You will go from serious and deep in regard to relationships to wanting new and different. The month ends with a whopping full moon in Libra that carries stressful Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. Expect power struggles.

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) What a nice but complicated month! Two full moons and pesky Mercury retrograde! March 1st brings a Virgo full moon with beautiful Mercury-Venus-Mars aspects that emphasize conviviality and shared purpose. The Sun is also conjunct Neptune at the same time, so it’s a good time to work your creative muscles or at least enjoy others’ creative works. In fact, the Mercury- Venus aspect continues for the first three weeks of March, so much of the month will involve really satisfying interchange with friends and colleagues. You’ll be full of ideas. This influence dominates the first half of the month, and by the 17th additional planets come into play. Mars squares the Sun just in time for the Pisces new moon on the 17th, and so it is an excellent new moon for planning and goal setting. The Sun and Mars continue to move in a square position for the rest of the month, even once the Sun enters Aries on the 20th and Mars enters Capricorn on the 17th. That’s a vigorous, busy combination that gets thrown up in the air a bit when Mercury turns retrograde on the 22nd – in Aries. There’s a lot going on in your fellow Cardinal signs so you will feel all this intensely. You’ll have to go with the flow and let Mars and the Sun help you move forward even as you have one foot in Mercury –retro spaciness. At the end of the month Venus transits Pluto and then Uranus in quick succession, bringing up issues about commitment and freedom in your relationships. Then on the 31st the second full moon of the month occurs in Libra with stressful Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. Ugh—sorry. I’d lay low because people will be scrappy.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) Oh what a month! Two full moons and Mercury retrograde! The first full moon falls on March 1st – it’s a juicy Virgo moon that comes with sweet Mercury-Venus-Mars aspects that make for delightful communication and sense of shared purpose. In fact, the Mercury-Venus part continues well into March, and it makes the first half of the month easy and fun in terms of communication. The Sun catches up to Neptune for the first few days of march as well, so welcome to the dreamtime. Things will be ushy, gushy and dreamy. It’s a good time for creative interchange and enjoying music, art, and friends. By the 6th Mercury and Venus enter Aries so things get a bit less dreamy and lot more purposeful, but still fun. Mars squares the Sun in time for the March 17th new moon in Pisces, allowing you to focus on goals and plans. The Sun-Mars combination continues through the rest of March, and that’s an active and rather forceful pairing, especially once the Sun enters Aries on the 20th (Yay! The Spring Equinox!). Mercury in Aries turns retrograde on the 22nd, so things will be a bit strange as Mercury retrograde runs counter to the directed Sun-Mars focus. You have to go with the flow of Mercury retrograde—no argument! The month ends with a challenging full moon in Libra with difficult Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. You may want to lay low and avoid power struggles!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) Oh my! What a month! It begins with a juicy Virgo full moon and nice Mercury-Venus-Mars aspects. You have a lot to do but you’re calm and copacetic, getting it all done and having fun at the same time. The Mercury-Venus aspect continues well into the third week of March, first in Pisces and then in Aries. It’s a delightful combination, all about communication and interchange as well as art and music and cultural exchange. The cultural emphasis is especially for the first few days of the month, when the Sun catches up to Neptune in Pisces. Your chatty Sagittarian self will be talking a lot this month! Then Mars makes a square to the Sun by the new moon in Pisces on the 17th, making it an excellent new moon for planning and goal-setting. Mars and the Sun stay in a square for pretty much the remainder of the month, even when the Sun enters Aries on the Spring Equinox. Mercury in Aries goes retrograde on the 22nd, so expect the force of Sun-Mars to be a bit re-directed by Merc retrograde. Things may not go as planned. Stay calm and go with the flow! Near the end of the month Venus makes a quick aspect to Pluto and then Uranus, stirring up relationship issues for you. Then the month ends with the second full moon of March on the 31st. This one is in Libra, with chunky Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects.   People will be edgy and scrappy and you should lay low and avoid putting your Sagittarian foot in your mouth with the help of Mercury retrograde…..

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19) Well, March is interesting! Two full moons, Mercury retrograde, and lots of Cardinal sign activity to trigger you! But it begins delightfully, with a Virgo full moon on the 1st that comes with pretty Mercury-Venus-Mars action. This influence is all about communication and interchange and a sense of shared purpose – and art and music too! The Sun catches up to Neptune for the first few days of the month, so use all of the planets to inspire you to enjoy your own creativity or that of others. Go hear music, look at art, and dance dance dance. Mercury and Venus stay paired up for the first few weeks of the month, even after they enter Aries on the 6th, so the emphasis on communication continues. The Sun squares Mars on the 17th, just in time for the Pisces new moon, so it’s a great new moon for planning and goal-setting – especially for you since Mars will have just entered Capricorn. The Sun-Mars square continues through the end of the month, bringing you a lot of work and busy-ness. The Sun enters Aries on the 20th, marking the Spring Equinox. Then Mercury in Aries turns retrograde on the 22nd, which is likely to aggravate you just a tad. The Sun-Mars combination has you moving ahead forcefully while Mercury retrograde wants to pull you back into dreamtime. Don’t be surprised by changes in plans and schedules. Meanwhile Venus aspects Pluto and then Uranus in quick succession and you’ll be doing some deep relationship work towards the end of the month. The month ends with a full moon in Libra on the 31st with stressful Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. Beware of power struggles.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) This is quite a month! Two full moons and Mercury retrograde! But it’s mostly pretty sweet, thanks to a delicious Mercury-Venus-Mars combination on the full moon in Virgo on the 1st. This favors getting things done with a lot of fun and conviviality. Enjoy it—you like fun! In fact, the Mercury Venus part of it continues for a good three weeks, bringing great communication and lots of music and art your way. Your Aquarian brain will be teeming with ideas and inspiration.   Then the Sun squares Mars in time for the March 17 new moon in Pisces, making it a great new moon for planning and setting goals. Mars and the Sun stay in an angle for the rest of the month, so you’ll be busy and active. The Sun enters Aries on the 20th, marking the Spring Equinox, and then Mercury in Aries goes retrograde on the 22nd. Okay – this is a bit weird. The Sun and Mars will be supporting lots of very focused and directed action while Mercury retrograde will take you into dreamtime. You’ll have to be moving forward while staying intuitive and going with the flow. Expect your schedule to change. Towards the end of the month Venus makes quick angles to Pluto and then Uranus, kicking up relationship issues about trust and autonomy. Just learn from it, no need for action. The month ends with the second full moon, this one in Libra on the 31st with intense Mars-Saturn-Pluto aspects. Avoid arguments and focus on a detailed , nudgy task instead.
