AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) Well, if the Jan 31 Leo full moon and eclipse didn’t push you over the edge you have formidable strength! February kicks off with a sweet Sun- North Node opposition which continues to emphasize your family and intimates. By the 3rd you feel compelled to employ your impressive organizational skills to a bear of a task, so go for it. Starting on the 8th Jupiter in Scorpio makes an exact angle to the Aquarius Sun for a few days. This juicy combination also pulls in Saturn but don’t sweat it. The Jupiter-Saturn angle has been dominant for the past month or so, and it brings a seriousness of purpose as well as the capacity for planning. This is especially true in regard to finances but it is also about your resources in general—emotional, spiritual, material. If your birthday is around the 8th, this impactful line up will influence you all year. You’re showing a lot of grounded leadership and looking at things with an eye towards accountability. The Sun-Jupiter dynamic is one of change and opportunity, the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. There is an Aquarius new moon on the 15th with very strong Mercury influences, so it is a good time for visioning, especially since Mars is squaring Neptune, bringing you very expansive energy. Mercury tracks closely to the Sun til the 20th, even after both bodies enter Pisces on the 18th, so the emphasis is on mental process. By the 23rd the Sun in Pisces makes an important angle to Pluto, and you are called to step into your power. Enjoy!

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  This month is kind of shockingly low-key, so enjoy it! It starts off with great aspects for intimacy and connection. The 3rd brings some fleeting power struggles on the world stage as well as on your own, but if you channel this energy rather than struggle you will accomplish a great deal. Jupiter squares the Sun for a few days starting on the 8th, and remember that anything Jupiter does right now also involves Saturn. These two important planets are in an interesting partnership, bringing grounded decision-making and accountability. It’s a good time to be thinking about resources and how you use them in a sustainable way. Venus enters your own sign late on the 10th, just in time to join up with Pluto on the 15th, the day of the new moon. Mercury catches up to the Sun and stimulates your mental energy. You’re thinking and conversating about where you’re directing your creative energy. There is lots of great stimulus for your creative juices right now, so pay attention and let the new moon inspire you to take on some new commitments. The Sun and Mercury both enter Pisces on the 18th, continuing the focus on thinking and communicating and planning. The 21st brings a pretty Venus-Neptune conjunction, demanding that you get to the pottery studio or something! Then on the 23rd the Sun makes an angle to Pluto and you feel you need to poke your head out of the hole you’ve been hiding in and get ready for spring. Time to come out of wintry darkness and into the light!

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19) February is a fairly low-stress kind of month – how shocking is that?! It begins with a sweet Sun-North Node angle that continues the focus on intimacy. Nice. By the 3rd Mars gets into it with Pluto and you’re glued to the political power struggles taking place in the public sphere… Or, you could harness that Mars-Pluto energy and mobilize, getting a bear of a task accomplished. The Sun in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Scorpio for a few days starting on the 8th and aspects Saturn as well. This highlights the already strong Jupiter-Saturn influence we’ve been experiencing for over a month. You’re living into your sense of yourself as a leader, an elder. It’s a good time to make grounded plans that reflect your values of sustainability. The new moon in Aquarius falls on the 15th, with both the Sun and Moon conjunct Mercury. Mars squares Neptune, amplifying your vision and thoughts. Use this New moon to generate ideas and stretch your vision far.   Mercury pairs with the Sun for a good few days, even as they both enter Pisces on the 18th. By the 21st Venus is conjunct Neptune for a few days of absolute mushiness. Enjoy! Then the Sun makes an angle to Pluto on the 23rd and you are forced to step into your power. No more hiding!

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) February is quite a nice month. It begins with a Sun-North Node aspect, emphasizing connections and intimacy. By the 3rd, Mars quickly aspects Pluto and you’re able to push through a mountain of work. Stay focused, lest you be distracted by the Mars-Pluto power plays occurring in Congress… Then by the 8th the Sun in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Scorpio for a few days. Keep in mind that Jupiter is moving in tandem with Saturn so anything involving Jupiter brings Saturn into the picture as well. This Jupiter-Saturn aspect helps you make decisions about your financial situation and plan for sustainability. It’s a good time to be evaluating your resources on many levels and assessing your leadership. Then we get a lot of Mercury action beginning on the 15th, the day of the new moon, when Mercury pairs up with the Sun for a few days. This shines a light on your mental capacities, your thinking, communication, and writing. Use them, especially around the new moon when there are wonderful aspects for visioning. The Sun and Mercury enter Pisces on the 18th and Venus, already in Pisces since the 10th, catches up to Neptune for a few days of delicious dreaminess, creativity and romance. The Sun makes an angle to Pluto for a day or two starting the 23rd. Your force field will be big and people will experience you as very powerful…

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  February should be no sweat for you, or at least less of a sweat than the last few! The month begins with a nice emphasis on friends and intimates. By the 3rd you are wresting with a big project and your organizing abilities are in fine form. The Sun in Aquarius catches up to a square with Jupiter in Scorpio. I know, sounds delicious, but anything involving Jupiter also pulls in Saturn by an angle these days. That’s not badby any means, it’s just kind of grounded and reasonable. It’s a good time to make decisions and plans, especially about resources, and I don’t only mean financial resources but outlays of time and energy as well.  Your ruling planet Mercury pairs up with the Sun for a few days starting on the 15th so your brain will be on overdrive. Use the new moon in Aquarius with its Mars Neptune aspects that amplify anything you think or say to envision new directions for yourself. The Sun and Mercury enter Pisces on the 18th and by the 21st, Venus in Pisces joins up with Neptune for a few days of romantic yearning.   On the 23rd the Sun makes an angle to Pluto, forcing you out of the shadows in some arena of your life, especially if your birthday is near May 27th.

CANCER (JUNE 21- JULY 21) February is pretty calm, all things considered. It begins with pretty aspects that emphasize friends and intimates.   By the 3rd you have a great deal of focus and are able to tackle a big project. Go for it. Then the Sun in Aquarius catches up to a square with Jupiter in Scorpio by the 8th. This juicy transit also pulls in the influence of Saturn since Jupiter and Saturn have been in a half-square for the past month or so, giving a whole other feel to things. This powerful combination gives you the ability to make sound decisions and do some long-range planning. It is about facing reality while enjoying the fruits of your life’s labors at the same time. It’s serious but good. When the Sun gets involved in this aspect it shines a spotlight on it for everyone. Mercury pairs up with the Sun on the 15th, the day of the new moon. Between Mercury and the Mars-Neptune square this new moon gives you the capacity to amplify your thoughts and vision (meditate on world peace, anyone?) so use it for visioning. The Sun and Mercury both enter Pisces on the 18th. A few days later Venus in Pisces catches up to Neptune, bringing you some unsettled desires. Roll with it. By the 24th the Sun aspects Pluto and it’s time for you to step into your power.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) Okay, I’m hoping that you survived the Leo full moon and eclipse of January 31… February should offer some relief. It begins with Sun-North Lunar Node aspects that emphasize relationships and connections. But on the 3rd Mars aspects Pluto for a couple of days of intensely focused work, unless you call obsessing about Congressional power struggles work!   Then the Sun in Aquarius – your opposite sign– squares Jupiter in Scorpio for a few days starting the 8th. This is an important aspect because Jupiter and Saturn have an odd little partnership going on this month and for most of the winter, so anything involving Jupiter involves Saturn as well.   This aspect is about assessing your resources and making sound decisions about sustainability, not just financially but also in terms of where you’re putting your energy on many different levels.   Use this aspect– it’s an important one. Mercury in Aquarius joins up with the Sun for a few days on the 15th, the day of the new moon. This is a powerful new moon on a mental level, giving you great capacity for vision since the Mars Neptune square amplifies anything you do or say or think. Have fun with that! The Sun and Mercury enter Pisces on the 18th, continuing Mercury’s influence. Venus catches up to Neptune on the 21st for a few days of creative yearning. Then on the 23rd the Sun aspects Pluto and you feel compelled to take the reins, to show leadership.

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) February is a pretty relaxed month, all things considered. It begins with a nice Sun-North Lunar Node opposition, keeping the emphasis on family and loved ones. By the 3rd Mars makes a quick

angle to Pluto, giving you the ability to organize some bear of a task and get it accomplished. The Sun in Aquarius catches up to an angle to Jupiter by the 8th for a few days. Remember that anything involving Jupiter right now also pulls in the effect of Saturn. Their combined influence is about sustainability, and it help you assess what you have to give and how you’d like to allocate it. This transit helps you make really grounded, informed decisions about next steps (but of course, as a Virgo, you’re quite good at that even without Jupiter and Saturn!). Then Mercury in Aquarius joins up with the Sun for a good few days. This could make you a bit nerved out—Aquarius isn’t the easiest sign for you. The new moon also falls on the 15th and that’s a big dose of Aquarian energy. But Mars in Sag squares Neptune on the new moon, so it’s a powerful one for visioning. Meanwhile the Sun and Mercury both enter Pisces on the 18th, and Venus already entered Pisces on the 10th. You can relax now – Pisces is your opposite sign and you’re more comfortable. Venus catches to Neptune on the 21st for a couple of days of creative and romantic yearning.   Enjoy!

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) February treats you quite lightly, with just a few ups and downs. It begins with a continued emphasis on relationships and intimacy. On the 3rd Mars makes a quick transit of Pluto, inspiring you to apply tremendous focus ad organize a difficult task. Go for it! The Sun in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Scorpio for a few days on the 8th, and since Jupiter has a special relationship with Saturn right now, we really get a strong dose of Sun-Jupiter-Saturn. The Jupiter –Saturn influence is an interesting and positive one, bringing judicious thinking, planning, and a desire to assess our emotional, material and spiritual resources. The guiding principle is sustainability. You’ll be thinking about what you need to support you through this rather insane time we are in. Then Mercury pairs up with the Sun on the 15th, the day of the new moon, bringing a great deal of mental energy. SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) I hope the Leo full moon and eclipse of January 31st didn’t drive you to the edge….Meanwhile February is quite a nice month, It begins with a focus on connections and loved ones. By the 3rd the Mars-Pluto transit gives you the energy to clean out the garage or take on some other easily-avoided task. Then the Sun in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Scorpio (how are you liking that nice little gift, Jupiter’s transit through Scorpio, by the way?), and this aspect is powerful and grounding, especially since it pulls in the influence of Saturn. You are sensing purpose and meaning on a deep level, and also feeling compelled to make decisions and engage in long-range planning about your life. What are you doing?
