SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) What can I say? The planets are messing with us, and we may have to wait two weeks for some relief. December starts off with the Sun in an exact square to Neptune, leaving us Sag’s in an unsettled place. If your birthday is in the first few days of this month, you will have this major Neptune effect all year. It’s great for inspiration and a dreamy sensitivity but can also be vague and ungrounded…It’s excellent for your spiritual or artistic practice but in the current sagittarius-sign_www.nowlix.com_astrology_zodiac_logo_symbol 7political climate it also creates some despondency around the edges. Uranus continues to hang out close to the Earth axis and squares Venus for the first few days of December, adding to the antsy feeling about the state of the planet. The Sun keeps marching forward and by the 9th catches up to Saturn for a few days of pressure and the sense of a grind. By the time we get to the full moon in Gemini late on the 13th Jupiter has moved close to its opposition to Uranus – this aspect gets exact this month and stays in place til mid March. This is kinda wild and crazy, sparking you to take risks and assert your fiery independence. It also creates nice fodder for serendipity. Mercury goes retrograde on the 19th so let yourself enter the dreamtime and hang out there through the holidays. Saturn in Sag spends the second half of the month squaring Chiron, really putting pressure on you to take your own healing seriously. Set up a regimen for self care and commit to deep transformation. The Winter Solstice falls on the 21st, when the Sun enters Capricorn. There is a beautiful new moon in Capricorn on the 29th which falls in the exact same degree as Mercury retrograde. Wow! This new moon will pack a punch of inspiration just in time to make new plans for the new year.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  Well, the month begins with a murky and unsettled Sun-Neptune square. Use it to get your meditation practice in order. Mercury enters your own sign on the 2nd and enjoy it while it lasts since it goes retrograde in Capricorn on the 19th … but I get ahead of myself. On the 9th the Sun catches up to Saturn in Sag for a few days of hard work and saturn-Cassini-February-2014pressure. The 13th brings a full moon in Gemini, by which time Jupiter approaches its opposition to Uranus. This Jupiter Uranus aspect is fun and slightly unhinged and lasts all the way til mid March. It’s all about self expression and autonomy and has an unpredictable edge… Then as I said, Mercury turns retrograde on the 19th while sitting with Pluto in Capricorn. Huh? Sounds like some information that has been repressed could come to the surface. This stretch of Mercury retrograde (which lasts til January 8th) will be important for you since it’s in Capricorn. Remember to go with the flow and let ideas bubble up from your unconscious. The Sun enters your own sign on the 21st – yay! The second half of the month has Saturn squaring Chiron, putting the focus on self-care and healing. There is a gorgeous new moon in Capricorn on the 29th which falls on the same excat degree as Mercury retrograde. That’s interesting – and revelatory!

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) Wow—what a month! December starts off with unsettledness coming from two directions (Chefs, I have prepared for you uncertainty in two ways…). First, the Sun and Neptune are squared, and second, Venus and Uranus are squared on the Earth axis. Don’t be surprised is you cant sleep well. You’ re feeling a vague unsettledness and it’s probably connected to the craziness of the world, which you’re feeling deeply. Mars is in your own sign most of the month and zodiac-AquariusVenus enters Aquarius on the 7th . Between those planets, the full moon in Gemini on the 13th, and Jupiter in Libra there is a lot of energy in air signs fanning the flames of the fiery Sun, Saturn and Uranus. Do your work but try not to obsess and get caught up in political theorizing. The Sun in Sag catches up to Saturn for a few days on the 9th, contributing to hard work and a feeling of pressure. Let the full moon illuminate the Jupiter-Uranus opposition which gets exact this month and is all about freedom and self expression. Don’t hold back, honey! Mercury in Capricorn goes retrograde on the 19th while sitting with Pluto. Something you’ve been sitting on will come up and out. Let things bubble up from your unconscious for the next few weeks and don’t be surprised if plans change. Saturn and Chiron spend the second half of the month nudging you to set up a regimen of self-care.   Use the beautiful new moon in Capricorn on the 29th for inspiration.

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) Well, what can I say… December has some issues. It begins with an unsettled few days of a Sun-Neptune square and Venus squaring Uranus on the Earth axis. Be careful not to fall into doom and gloom. The prevalence of planets in air signs fan the flames of the fiery Sun, Saturn and Uranus – everyone’s got an opinion and you may want to steer clear pisces fishof them. This is especially the case in the run-up to the Gemini full moon on the 13th. The Sun in Sag catches up to Saturn for a few days on the 9th and you can use that to hunker down and focus on doing the work rather than talking about it. Mercury in Capricorn goes retrograde on the 19th while sitting smack on top of Pluto. Hmm, that’s an odd one and could mean revelations. Let things bubble up from your unconscious and go with the flow. Mercury will be retrograde til January 8th. Expect your holiday plans to be…. Flexible. The good news this month is that the Jupiter –Uranus opposition gets quite exact and stay in place til mid March. This quirky combination will support your desire for self-expression and openness to serendipity. Enjoy. Then there is a beautiful new moon in Capricorn on the 29th that falls right on the same degree as Mercury retrograde. Use it for inspiration!

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19) The month begins with unsettledness on a few fronts – big surprise. Your feeling shook down to your core values. The main issue this month, however, is an awful lot of planets in air signs that fan the flames of fiery Sun, Saturn and Uranus. Beware of acting and speaking before you think, and be sure you stay in touch with earthy reality. Jupiter approaches Uranus to make an exact opposition this month (an aspect which lasts through mid March) and this powerful and quirky Aries-Tribal-Tattoocombination will heighten your sense of individual power and self expression. That could be fun and wild, but also …um… a bit self-focused. The Sun in Sagittarius catches up to Saturn on the 9th for a few days of hard work and pressure. The full moon in Gemini on the 13th puts the focus on social interchange and community. Keep in mind that Mercury in Capricorn turns retrograde on the 19th while it transits Pluto. Oy!   That’s kinda weird. Don’t repress a thing – let it all hang out! It’s the Winter Solstice on the 21st when the Sun enters Capricorn, and besides having Mercury retro for the holidays there will be a strong influence of Saturn and Chiron, pushing you to take healing seriously. Use the beautiful new moon in Capricorn on the 29th for inspiration.

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) Well, it’s another kinda weird month. It starts off with a few days of unsettledness, between the Sun Neptune square and the Venus-Uranus business on the earth axis. The only way to deal with it is to keep up your meditation practice. Seriously. The issue this month is an awful lot of planets in air signs fanning the flames of the planets in fire signs, so there is a lot of bloviating and theorizing going on which is bugging the hell out of you. Stay away from social media this month. But things pick up…. The Sun in Sag catches up to Saturn for a few days on the blog-animals-Texas_longhorn_cattle_bull_grazing9th, which puts the focus on work and responsibility. The upcoming Gemini full moon on the 13th emphasizes community – it’s time to reconnect with people. Then – your favorite—Mercury goes retrograde on the 19th while it transits Pluto. That should being some information to the surface that you’ve been awaiting. It also indicates a great few days for very focused mental work. The retrograde stretch will be interesting—you know the drill. Go with the flow and expect plans to be fluid. It is a wonderful transit for inspiration, especially on the new moon on the 29th which lines up exactly with Mercury retro. The other major celestial event this month is the opposition of Jupiter and Uranus which gets exact during the second half of the month and lasts til mid- March.   This combination emphasizes expansion and individual autonomy , and so if you’re in a situation that is holding you back Jupiter and Uranus might bring some unexpected changes your way….

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Man oh man, you may really need a meditation practice. The month begins with some unsettledness, between the Sun-Neptune square and the Venus-Uranus square on the Earth axis. You’re antsy and worried, big gemini-cartoonsurprise. The full moon in your sign brings with it a close opposition of Jupiter and Uranus, an aspect which becomes exact this month and lasts til mid-March. That’s an interesting one for revelations! Enjoy dreamtime for 3 weeks and Happy Winter Solstice on the 21st. By the 9th, the Sun in Sag catches up to Saturn for a few days of nose-to-the-grindstone work, which actually feels quite grounding. It is a good 10367401-atlentic-ocean-waves-near-biarritz-francecounterbalance to the airy planets fanning the flames of the fiery ones and making everyone way too opinionated for your liking. Keep in mind the full moon in Gemini on the 13th, which emphasizes all that heady talk. Mercury in Capricorn goes retrograde for 3 weeks starting on December 19th. Fun!   You will have a great time with this retrograde – just let your unconscious boil and bubble. LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) December is an interesting month! It starts out in an unsettled way, with yearnings and angst, thanks toleo-horoscope-2016 a few days of a Sun Neptune square and Venus-Uranus transit of the Earth axis. The overwhelming influence this month is of planets in air signs fanning the flames of the Sun, Saturn and Uranus in fire signs. This makes for a lot of big ideas as well as big inspiration—the key word being big. The ideas will get very big indeed in the run up to the Gemini full moon on the 13th.   Try not to be dissuaded by the Sun Saturn conjunction on the 9th which could dampen your enthusiasm for a few days but actually will help move you from idea to concrete action. Mercury in Capricorn goes retrograde on the 19th for 3 weeks, and interestingly starts its retrograde pass with a transit to Pluto.   Wow, this is like dredging the ocean floor. VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) December is a slightly complicated month for you… It starts out with a lot of uncertainty and unsettledness. If you don’t have a meditation practice, I urge you to get one and put the Sun-Neptune square to good use. The cat_maid_1_funnypagenet_comdeal with December is that the airy planets are fanning the flames of the fiery ones and everyone’s got an opinion. You need to steer clear of despair and worry, making sure to stay grounded, especially in the run up to the Gemini full moon on the 13th when all that Sag/Gemini energy can just get too damn heady and dry. Like I said…time for that meditation practice….Before then, however, the Sun in Sag catches up to Saturn on the 9th for a few days of sobering hard work. Mid-month things get very interesting: Mercury in Capricorn goes retrograde on the 19th while transiting Pluto. Wow! That’s good for dredging up deeply unconscious material! There is an awful lot of air energy this month fanning the flames of fiery planets. You feel like your head might explode with ideas and with thought. That’s all good but don’t get too lost in ideas and theories. Sagittarian energy can sometimes pull towards being ultra rational, and there is a danger of that in the run up to the full moon in Gemini on the 13th. image001Beware of despair and keep your spiritual fires burning. Mid month things get very interesting, when Mercury in Capricorn goes retrograde on the 19th while transiting Pluto. Whatever happens it will involve revelation.   Jupiter in Libra closes in this month to its opposition to Uranus which will be in effect til mid –March. This is a very interesting combination which can create a kind of excess of self expression and quirkiness. SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) This month starts with edginess and uncertainty but it only lasts a few days. Try to use the Sun-Neptune square to focus on your spiritual or creative work. There are a lot of planets in air signs this month and they fan the flames of the fiery planets, so there are a lot of people with a lot of big sweeping opinions around you. It makes more sense to Scorpio Funnyground that heady energy in concrete action, and by the 9th, the Sun and Saturn will help you do that.   Then the emphasis is on social interaction in the run up to the Gemini full moon on the 13th.   Mid month things get interesting: Mercury in Capricorn goes retrograde on the 19th for three weeks, and it begins its retrograde stretch transiting Pluto.
