PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) Spring is in the air and the planetary energy is shifting… This month has a bit of everything—global drama, personal angst, fun and frivolity, personal growth. Keep in mind that the Uranus-Pluto square is exact this month, which is what the global stress is about. Saturn and Neptune are squared for the first half of March (and a less picky astrologer would
say for the whole month in fact…) and that influence is like moving through quicksand. Don’t be surprised if you’re feeling a little stuck or low-energy — it’s Saturn and Neptune. But these planets are very positive for deep insights especially if you are in a healing field. If you are a February Pisces, you’re really feeling Saturn and Neptune’s effect, for good or ill. But on to the fun stuff…. The month starts off with a chatty Mercury-Jupiter opposition. There is a full moon in Virgo on the 5th, involving Venus in the midst of the Uranus Pluto business, emphasizing connections and relationships. If your birthday is the 4th or 5th, you’ll have this influence all year long, and it’s a radical one. Venus and Uranus bring stretching and growing in the realm of values and relationships, and Pluto adds a transformative edge. Whatever you do you’ll be doing it extremely and wildly and creatively. It’s all about risk-taking. Then by the 12th, we have a couple of days of Mars in Aries catching up to the Uranus-Pluto square. The world may be in spasms and you should watch out for anger and power struggles. Mercury enters your own sign on the 13th and quickly squares Saturn in Sag; by the 18th it cruises past Neptune in Pisces. These aspects bring you a lot of clarity and insight. Then the 20th brings us a whopper: a new moon in the last breath of Pisces and solar eclipse about 10 hours before the spring equinox, when the Sun moves into Aries. There are beautiful Jupiter aspects that day. Use this new moon to invite in some emotional closure, a way to close out one cycle and make room for what’s next. The end of March brings Venus in Taurus squaring Jupiter for a few days starting on the 27th. Enjoy yourself! Think about your garden!
ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19) We are quickly heading into your time of year…Venus and Mars are both in Aries, and of course the Sun enters your sign on the equinox March 20th. March is an interesting month, if you can stand the strange backdrop of Saturn-Neptune bogginess and Uranus-Pluto drama. Saturn and Neptune facilitate a lot of insight and reflection if you are paying attention and not binge-watching Breaking Bad (now that’s a Saturn-Neptune show for you!) But I digress… The month
starts off with a Mercury-Jupiter opposition, a nice lead up to the Virgo full moon on the 5th. That full moon has Venus in Aries sitting with Uranus and joining in the square to Pluto. There is a wild and trickster-ish energy to you this week – you’re pushing buttons and busting across thresholds right and left. Then a week later, Mars in Aries catches up to the Uranus Pluto business, and this combination is edgier, more fractious. Watch your impulsivity and be aware of stepping on others’ toes. Mid- month Mercury enters Pisces, quickly squares Saturn and sails past Neptune. This is an important time for deep insight, reflection, and healing work. Then it’s the 20th, the equinox, but 10 hours before the Sun crosses into Aries, there is a powerful new moon and eclipse at the tail tail tail end of Pisces. This is a great lunation for meditating on your next steps, setting course for the next unknown. Mars and Jupiter are in the background, sounding like Capt Picard and saying “Make it so.” The end of the month brings a nice Venus-Jupiter square. Have some fun with that!
TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) This is an interesting month, with some weirdness and some great aspects too. The backdrop is the weird part — the outer planets continue to do a number on us all, between Saturn and Neptune making you feel you’re in quicksand and Uranus and Pluto wreaking havoc with the world. Apart from that, things are fine, right? The month starts off with a nice Moon-Jupiter opposition to Mercury, which is excellent for communication and interchange. Then there is a full
moon in Virgo on the 5th, which could illuminate all the myriad ways you are stressed out. But the full moon includes an interesting aspect: Venus in Aries catches up to the Uranus-Pluto square, which is excellent for creative expression and envisioning radical changes in your life. It’s also fun. Then the following week Mars moves into position with Uranus and Pluto. That’s rather jagged-y, so you may want to just meditate between the 10th and 12th. Avoid conflict. Venus enters your own sign of Taurus on the 17th – yay! The 20th brings us a beautiful new moon and eclipse at the tail end of Pisces, followed 10 hours later by the spring equinox. Yay again! This new moon is very powerful, with wonderful Mars and Jupiter aspects. Use it to bring something to fruition and to usher in a new cycle. The 27th brings a few days of a nice Venus-Jupiter square. It is also a great time for planting! Have fun!
GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Well, what’s a Gemini to do, with so many contradictory influences?! The month kicks off with very chatty aspects between Mercury and Jupiter, followed on the 5th by a big full moon in Virgo. Be careful not to go all self-critical, especially since Saturn squares Neptune, making the background noise of your life feel a bit sluggish. Venus is in Aries and catches up to the Uranus-Pluto square on the full moon – now that’s fun! Do something wild and crazy. The following week
Mars in Aries reaches that same potent square so stay out of trouble and away from conflict. Mercury enters Pisces on the 13th and immediately squares Saturn and moves next to Neptune. Channel this energy into insight and thoughtfulness. The Saturn Neptune combination is a bit of a bog and if you’re not careful you’ll get stuck in the mud. Then on the 20th we get a double whammy – in a good way — with a new moon and solar eclipse at the tail end of Pisces followed 10 hours later by the spring equinox when the Sun enters Aries. The Jupiter and Mars aspects are very strong that day so it is a powerful time for envisioning next steps. Venus in Taurus squares Jupiter for a few days starting on the 27th. Nice!
CANCER (JUNE 21- JUL 21) The month begins with Jupiter and Mercury bringing some satisfying interaction and intellectual stimulation, a nice set up to the March 5th full moon in Virgo. This lunation will inspire you to get your house in order but allow some space to enjoy Venus in Aries catching up to Uranus and squaring Pluto. This creative and expansive aspect will help
you get out of a box you’ve allowed yourself to be in. Let ‘er rip! And Mars in Aries is not far behind Venus and so a week later Mars gets involved with Uranus and Pluto. That is more difficult energy to handle so be careful of conflict and power struggles. It passes quickly, and then on the 13th Mercury enters Pisces and quickly aspects Saturn and Neptune. The 13th to 18th will be a very rich period for internal exploration, writing, reflection, and healing of any kind. Then the 20th brings us three major celestial events: a new moon, a solar eclipse , and the spring equinox. The new moon occurs at the tail end of Pisces and has beautiful aspects to Mars and Jupiter. This is a wonderful lunation for gaining inspiration and envisioning next steps. And it’s spring! Yay! The end of the month brings a few days of Venus-Jupiter square. Have a good time and indulge yourself. Get a massage.
LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) The month begins with the Moon in your own sign breezing by Jupiter and opposing Mercury. That’s an interactive, chatty transit. Enjoy it. Then on the 5th there is a full moon in Virgo so be careful not to be too self critical. Any tendencies to beat yourself up might be exacerbated by the Saturn-Neptune square whic
h makes for a pretty swampy state. Instead focus on Venus in Aries catching up to Uranus and squaring Pluto on the full moon. This calls for a radical reorientation of your values. Get on it! The following week Mars in Aries makes the same aspects to Uranus and Pluto so you may feel riled up, feisty, and ready for action. Use the backdrop of the Saturn Neptune influence to stay calm and work on your meditation practice, which will be especially fruitful for a few days after the 13th, once Mercury enters Pisces. Then it is the 20th, a big day for the heavens, when we have a new moon and solar eclipse at the tail end of Pisces, followed by the Spring Equinox 10 hours later. The new moon has wonderful Jupiter Mars aspects so it will be a particularly useful new moon for envisioning next steps. And it’s spring! Yay! The end of the month brings a fun Venus Jupiter square. And it’s a good time for planting!
VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) This is a big month for you, since there is so much going on in Pisces, your opposite sign. First of all, March 5th brings a Virgo full moon, and it’s a biggie. You know a full moon – it illuminates. This one will be highlighting your values and where you want to change your life. Venus is in Aries and on the 5th it catches up to Uranus and joins Uranus in squaring Pluto. Yowza! You will have to look at the ways you are itchy for change so don’t be surprised if you are a bit keyed up
and moving faster than everyone else…. Then at the same time we have this boggy influence of Saturn in Sag squaring Neptune in Pisces. This combination has been excellent for self-reflection and healing work of any kind, yet it is also swampy. If you are an early Virgo you may feel very bogged down. So the full moon will really highlight the ways you feel stuck in juxtaposition with the ways you want to move. Take it easy and go to a steambath or something. Put that Neptunian swampiness to positive effect – especially after the 13th when Mercury enters Pisces and gets involved in Saturn and Neptune. Then we are barreling towards the equinox on the 20th! The 20th is a big day astrologically because it begins with a new moon and solar eclipse at the tail end of Pisces. This is a wonderful lunation – the Jupiter-Mars aspects make it excellent for envisioning your next steps. The equinox follows 10 hours later. Yay! Spring! The end of the month brings a fun Venus Jupiter influence.
LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) The month begins with convivial Mercury and Jupiter bringing good conversation and stimulating exchange. There is a full moon in Virgo on March 5th which serves to illuminates some antsiness on your part about values and relationships. Both Mars and Venus are in Aries, your opposite sign, but on the full moon Venus catches up to Uranus (startling but nice!) and squares Pluto (deep). So you will be stirred up and you’ll be aware of the ways you want some things to change in your life. But
don’t let that Virgo moon make you go all self-critical, okay? Then the following week Mars in Aries makes the same run past Uranus and triggers Pluto. This is a more energetic aspect and you may experience it as sheer power or conflict, so just be aware. The general backdrop to the month is this pesky Saturn Neptune square, which is sort of quicksand-like. You may be feeling stuck in another time and space—but that can be productive and okay. Just be aware that the temptation to be a couch potato is very great. On the 13th Mercury enters Pisces and quickly gets involved in the Saturn Neptune business. This is a wonderful stretch for inspiration, writing, reflection, and healing work of any kind. Then it is the 20th, a big day. There is a new moon and solar eclipse in the last breath of Pisces with wonderful angles to Mars and Jupiter. Use it for envisioning next steps. Then 10 hours later it is the spring equinox and the Sun enters Aries, your opposite sign. Yay!
SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) March begins with nice aspects for sitting at your kitchen table and hanging out with friends. It is followed on the 5th by a Virgo full moon with powerful Venus-Uranus aspects. This is a full moon where you may feel out of sorts, wanting to get things in order in your life. The Venus-Uranus influence (actually Venus-Uranus-Pluto) makes you aware of wanting something to be different, and you are quite capable of shaking things up, rocking some major boats in your life…..
The awareness comes with the full moon but the boat-rocking may follow a week later when Mars in Aries catches up to the Uranus-Pluto business between the 10th and 13th. You may want to warn your loved ones—just sayin’! And on the 13th Mercury enters Pisces and quickly aspects Saturn and Neptune. This is a wonderful combination for meditation, inspiration, and healing work of any kind. It’s also good for binge-watching Long Island Medium…. There is serious planetary pressure this month to veg out! Then it is the 20th, a big day astrologically. There is a powerful new moon and solar eclipse at the tail end of Pisces as well as the spring equinox. Yay ! Use the new moon to envision your next steps.
SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) March begins with a convivial Mercury-Jupiter opposition – you have lots to do but people just want to talk to you…. Then on the 5th there is a full moon in Virgo with major Venus-Uranus-Pluto aspects. You need to get your house in order but the Venus-Uranus influence makes you too ansty to do that. Instead you’re characteristically dreaming big and envisioning new and different and bigger ways to live out your values. All of
these influences may conspire to make you edgy and a bit impatient, so be aware. Then in the background is the strange swampy energy of the Saturn Neptune square – Saturn in your own sign of Sag and Neptune in Pisces. This is a wonderful combination for engaging in a physical or spiritual regimen and also for healing work of any kind. Yet it raises issues of vulnerability and so if there are any chronic tendencies of your own, you are seeing them loud and clear! Meanwhile Mercury enters Pisces on the 13th and immediately gets involved in the Saturn-Neptune aspect. This stretch is important for self-reflection and you will have easy access to deep stores of wisdom. Nice! Then it’s the 20th – a new moon and solar eclipse in the last breath of Pisces followed 10 hours later by the spring equinox! Wow! Endings and beginnings, receptivity and action. Meditate on next steps – it is a very powerful new moon! Enjoy the Venus Jupiter square at the end of the month and have some fun…
CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19) The month begins with positive aspects for conversation and mental stimulation. Then there is a Virgo full moon on the 5th with powerful Venus-Uranus-Pluto aspects. Things become illuminated by the full moon and the Virgo full moon will starkly point out where things in your life need to change. Just let it all rumble around and do not fall into
the trap of self-criticism…. By the time Mars in Aries moves towards Uranus and Pluto the following week there will be plenty of action to go around. Keep in mind that the backdrop to the month is the Saturn Neptune square which is great for meditative and healing work – as well as for binge-watching Game of Thrones. Try not to be distracted and really use this influence to set up a productive regimen for yourself, especially when Mercury enters Pisces on the 13th and gets involved in Saturn and Neptune. You will have an important few days of self-reflection. Then it is the 20th – a big day. There is a new moon and solar eclipse at the very end of Pisces followed 10 hours later by the spring equinox when the Sun enters Aries. This new moon is very powerful since it aspects the Earth axis as well as Mars and Jupiter. Use it to envision your next steps. Then start thinking about your garden – Venus is in Taurus ,after all ,and at the end of the month aspects Jupiter!
AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) This month has some contradictory influences, but you’re good at contradictions so you should be able to handle it….! March begins with a satisfying Mercury Jupiter opposition, bringing stimulating interchange. Then the 5th brings a full moon in Virgo with exciting Venus-Uranus-Pluto aspects, making you antsy and wanting change. Or perhaps you just want to rearrange your furniture? Either way, you’re wanting to stretch and bust out of some confinement, although the
busting out may not occur til the following week when Mars catches up to Uranus and Pluto. That’s when you fly into action. Watch out – your force field is bigger than you realize. Meanwhile the backdrop to the month is the Saturn Neptune square , which is an odd and swampy combination. It is great for insight and healing work and it also reveals chronic patterns and weaknesses of all kinds. Be patient and compassionate with yourself and others, especially when Mercury enters Pisces on the 13th and gets involved with Saturn and Neptune. Then we are heading toward the 20th – a big new moon and solar eclipse and the spring equinox. This new moon is powerful, with important aspects to Mars and Jupiter. Use it to focus on next steps. Then go out and celebrate spring! Yay!

Thank you Dearheart!
