CANCER (JUNE 21- JUL 21) Well, Happy July! It’s a very interesting month, and even enjoyable – as long as you can get through the first few days. Mercury turns direct on July 1st, making for a messy day. The Sun-Pluto opposition back to back with the Mars-Uranus opposition makes for some challenging times on the political front, but what else is new? The first week of the month does create some opportunity for intimacy and romance, followed by a week in Cancerwhich everyone is high strung. The full moon in Capricorn on the 12th will shine its light on communication difficulties, so expect some tension for a few days after. Mercury enters your sign on the 13th, and then Venus on the 18th. And finally Saturn turns direct on the 20th, and we will all feel a release. Things that have felt stuck should start to move, especially since Mars, which has been in Libra for months and months and months, finally leaves Libra in July. (I’ve got nothing against Mars in Libra, mind you, but enough already!) Here’s what is interesting about Mars this month: it catches up to a square with the Sun in Cancer. What, you ask? This means that from about the 13th of July till the Sun enters Leo on the 22nd, the Sun and Mars are operating as one dynamic force. That’s a lot of industriousness for hot July days! And because the Lunar Nodes are involved, it means a lot of energy going into doing things in concert with others.   Between Saturn going direct and this Sun-Mars business, look out! You will be rockin’! And just before the Sun leaves your sign, it ‘s within spitting distance of Jupiter, which will be just barely into Leo. So if you are very late Cancer – born between the 20th and 22nd— you will have this powerful Sun-Mars-Jupiter effect on you all year. Aren’t you lucky?! It’s all about movement and fulfillment! Meanwhile the New Moon on the 26th has a beautiful Sun-Moon Jupiter conjunction….

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) Well, this is an interesting month and the theme is release. The month starts out with some chunky aspects but then there is real movement. First, Mercury turns around on the 1st, and the day it leaves its retrograde can be as messy as the day it enters….And there is a whopping Sun-Pluto oppositionthe first week of July along with a Mars-Uranus opposition. What can I say? It’s a week when political repression will be on everyone’s minds. However, the personal aspects facilitate intimacy. The second week of July brings more tension that builds up to the full moon in Capricorn on the 12th…but then the movement begins! Starting around the 13th Mars squares the babycattSun, which is very busy and dynamic.   Saturn turns direct after having been retrograde for what feels like forever. Jupiter enters Leo on the 16th, and by the time the Sun enters your sign on the 22nd, it sits with the Sun. Nice! If you’re an early Leo, born in the first several days of the sign, you’ll have great Sun-Jupiter aspects for the year. That’s all about completion and fulfillment. Mars enters Scorpio on the 25th – thank you Jesus! It has been a very long haul of Mars in Libra because its long retrograde stretch this spring. With Mars in Scorpio you’ll be back to your old willful self!   There is a gorgeous new moon in Leo on the 26th with huge Jupiter effects – really good for envisioning where you’re going!

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) Wow! Things are moving this month! You just have to weather some ups and downs during the start of July and you’ll be fine…. Keep in mind that Mercury retrograde turns around on July 1st, and the Virgo_Artday it turns can be particularly challenging – especially since Mercury is your ruling planet. And then it’s been retrograding in Gemini, which has been a big pain in the neck for you. In addition, the first week has political repression written all over it (the Supreme Court, for instance.). However, there are some nice aspects for intimacy this week. The second week of July brings some high tension, exacerbated by the Capricorn full moon on the 12th and a few days of Mercury -Saturn snippiness. But then – yes, really – there is a great deal of release. The Sun and Mars spend almost the rest of the month in a big 90-degree angle, helping you get things done. Saturn turns direct on the 20th after what ahs felt like years of stuckness. Jupiter is on the move and enters Leo on the 16th. It catches up to the Sun by the 20th, and we have a good week of a Sun-Jupiter conjunction. That is all about completion and fulfillment, which can bring joy about what you have as well as a poignant sense of what you still want and need. The new moon on the 26th is gorgeous and also has Jupiter all over it. Definitely use it for inspiration!

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) Finally, finally, there is movement this month! Woo hoo! You just have to get through the first day. The first week. Umm, maybe a bit more. Seriously! First of all, Mercury turns direct on the 1st, and the day is turns can be really difficult. Then there is the Sun-Pluto opposition during the first week, along with a Mars-LibraUranus opposition. So the world is screwed up! We hate the Supreme Court! Etc. But the first week is great for intimacy and romance. The second week of July brings some mental tension as well as a full moon in Capricorn on the 12th. Watch out for feeling pressured. It’s not worth it – just go to the beach. Then there are few days of Mercury Saturn which sounds like a good time for a writing retreat. Then the planetary movement begins.   The Sun and Mars spend most of the rest of the month in a 90-degree angle, making you an industrious little bee. Then by the 20th, the Sun catches up to Jupiter and there is a good week of this beautiful influence of completion and fulfillment. Nice! Saturn goes direct on the 20th, making more movement. Then – your friend Mars is finally leaving Libra after what feels like 10,000 endless eons. Have a toast to Mars! It enters Scorpio on July 25th at 10:26 pm EDT, as a matter of fact. The new moon on the 26th is a beautiful one, with Jupiter all over it. Enjoy!

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) Oh this is an interesting month, with a lot of release and movement, thank god! It just

Scorpio Funny starts out with some challenges, not the least of which is Mercury turning direct on July 1st. The day it turns is always challenging… But hang in there. Despite abysmally oppressive political realities the intimacy aspects are positive. Enjoy them. Next week everyone is tense, especially heading to the full moon in Capricorn on the 12th. (Did I mention that the Capricorns in your life would be out of control? ) We have a few days of Mercury Saturn aspects after that, good for hard mental work but complicating travel arrangements.   Then things begin to loosen up astrologically   Saturn turns direct in Scorpio on the 20th, bringing movement to stuck places. Mars catches up to a square with the Sun, so you have a lot of energy to burn. By the 20th the Sun sits with Jupiter for a good week, which is great for a sense of ease and fun and completion. Then on the 25th Mars enters your own sign of Scorpio, helping focus your intense will and move even bigger mountains. The new moon in Leo on the 26th is a fabulous one with strong Jupiter influences. Ring in fulfillment!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) The word of the month is release! Woo hoo! Finally, some movement forward. You’ve had a helluva time during this pass of Mercury retrograde, during which it was pretty impossible to get anything done. Remember that it turns direct on the 1st and so that day might be difficult…. Then there are other aspects during the first week that are troubling on the global front, and you’re feeling fired up and agitated. Stay calm, the-hunger-games-katniss-bowbecause the second week of the month brings more stimulus and agitation, especially heading towards the Capricorn full moon on the 20th. But then there are all kinds of release: Mars catches up to the Sun in a 90-degree angle, inspiring a lot of industriousness. Saturn turns direct on the 20th. Jupiter is moving along and by the 20th, the Sun and Jupiter move hand in glove. Nice! Jupiter is your planet ! It’s all about completion and fulfillment—and a sense that everything you do is filled with greater meaning. There is a beautiful new moon in Leo on the 26th that has Jupiter all over it. This is a gorgeous lunation and you should really use it for inspiration! Mars finally enters Scorpio after being stuck in Libra for many months. You know what that me1ans – it’s heading pretty quickly towards Sagittarius and by mid –September will be harnessing Sagittarian fire!

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19) Okay, okay – there is relief in sight, and it even comes this month. Kinda sorta. You just have to get through a couple of challenging weeks! At least the worst of the Uranus-Pluto-Mars craziness is out of your way…. First, Mercury turns around on the 1st and that can be difficult. And keep in mind that the first part of thissaturn-Cassini-February-2014 month has intense aspects to the Sun in Cancer – triggering you like crazy. The first week has a Sun –Pluto opposition in which you are feeling all of the oppressive forces of the world and you are ready to explode. Please don’t!   The second week brings more mental tension building up to the full moon in Capricorn on the 12th! Oy!   Do some deep breathing. Then after the full moon things start to ease up, at least after a few days of Mercury Saturn nudginess. For one thing, mars in Libra squares the Sun in Cancer for the next two weeks, allowing you to have a lot of dynamic energy. You’ll get a lot done! Then Saturn goes direct on the 20th after a quite long retrograde period, bringing release. By the 20th Jupiter and the Sun move together in a beautiful conjunction. Enjoy this wonderful aspect of completion and closure. In fact, the new moon on the 26th has Jupiter all over it, so use this lunation to envision your wholeness.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) This month, like fine wine, gets better with age….. Seriously! It starts out with some

challenges but by the middle of the month there is a real shift in energy. And the end of the month is beautiful! Let me break it down for you…. Keep in mind that Mercury turns direct on the first, and the day it changes can be really messy in terms of plans and communication. The Sun-Pluto opposition during the first week of July has you seething

about political realities…. You are uncharacteristically really pissed off heading into the second week, especially with pressure building towards the Capricorn full moon. After that things begin to shift… Saturn turns direct on the 20th, bringing much needed movement to plans that have been stuck. Mars in Libra squares the Sun for the middle two weeks of the month and you are a dynamo, getting things done with ease. By the 20th, the Sun catches up to Jupiter and the two move together for a solid week. Nice! And Jupiter is in Leo, your opposite sign, highlighting areas of your life that need fulfillment. There is a stunning new moon in Leo on the 26th, with fabulous Jupiter aspects. Have a really good time!

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) This month brings a significant –and positive – shift in energy, but not until we get slog through a difficult start…. Remember that Mercury turns around on the 1st, and the day it turns can be a real mess. This stretch of Mercury retrograde has been challenging for you! (Just think – it’s over!) The first week of July is all about feeling the pressure of difficult political realities, and you are just a bit depressed about it all. The following 10367401-atlentic-ocean-waves-near-biarritz-franceweek brings some mental tension and excitement leading up to the full moon in Capricorn on the 12th, and then a few days of Mercury-Saturn crabbiness. Take heart – things do begin to release. Starting around the 13th Mars and the Sun enter a very productive angle and you’re able to get things done without a struggle for a couple of weeks. Saturn goes direct on the 20th, releasing a lot of stuck energy. Then by the 20th, Jupiter and the Sun join up, bringing at least a week of feeling a deep sense of fulfillment. There is a beautiful new moon on the 26th with very strong Jupiter influences.   Enjoy!

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)   Well, this is an interesting month, mostly a helluva lot easier than the ones before….You just have to weather a few storms at the start of July. Keep in mind that Mercury turns around on the first, and although it’s turning direct, it can still be messy the day it turns… Then the first week of July has a Sun-Pluto Ariesopposition and a Mars-Uranus opposition. Oy! You’re feeling oppressed politically and are all fired up about it. The tension continues into the second week of the month and builds up as we approach the full moon in Capricorn on the 12th. That is an intense full moon and it is followed by a few days more of feeing stressed when Mercury aspects Saturn. Then, finally, things start to release. Mars catches up with the Sun for a couple of weeks, facilitating a sense of productiveness and movement. Saturn turns direct on the 20th, adding to the feeling of release. By the 20th, Jupiter and the Sun are moving together, and that is a very nice combination. Sun and Jupiter are all about fulfillment and completion. The New Moon in Leo on the 26th has Jupiter all over it—enjoy!

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) Okay! Now we’re talking! Things are starting to move! Yes, Mercury turns direct on the 1st and so that day itself is a pain in the neck…but overall, in July you’ll have a definite sense of forward movement. You just have to get through some pressure at the start of the month. The Sun-Pluto opposition the first week of July has you absolutely disgusted at the political scene. You’re feeling oppressed, and the Mars Uranus Taurusopposition makes you irritated. The tension builds during the second week. You’ll be feeling torn between polarities: two projects, two jobs, two people. Pressure builds in advance of the Capricorn full moon on the 12th. Use the Saturn Mercury angles in the days after the full moon to get some writing done. Then things start to shift! Mars squares the Sun for the next couple of weeks, facilitating a lot of activity and productivity. Don’t overdo it at the gym! Saturn goes direct on the 20th, shifting some situations that have felt stuck. By the 20th, Jupiter joins up with the Sun for a delightful week of fulfillment, fun and completion. Enjoy ! And take advantage of the fabulous new moon on the 26th which has Jupiter all over it. And on the 25th, Mars finally finally finally leaves Libra and enters your opposite sign of Scorpio. You’ll be more willful than ever!

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Oh honey, I got good news and bad news. Actually, it’s mostly good – the planetary energy makes a big shift this month. Whew!   Keep in mind that Mercury turns direct on the 1st, and the day it turns it’s always challenging – more so now because it is in Gemini. This Mercury retrograde has really messed with you, hasn’t it? Otherwise this first week of July has a Sun Pluto opposition – oy, the Supreme Court, the Republicans, GeminiIsrael and Palestine, you name it. You’re feeling oppressed and agitated.   The agitation gets a bit exacerbated by Sun Uranus aspects the second week of July and the build up to the Capricorn full moon on the 12th, which by the way, will feel like sheer pressure. A few days of a Saturn mercury angle may make you edgy, but then there is release.   Mars catches up to a square with the Sun, so you will able to complete all those things Mercury retro messed with such as your already-late taxes. Seriously. You’ll be productive and it will feel good. Saturn goes direct on the 20th and that will also ease some stuckness. By this same day Jupiter and the Sun will move together for about a week. This is a delightful combination for closure and completion, for appreciating what you have and seeing clearly what you still need. Use the beautiful new moon in Leo on the 26th for inspiration because Jupiter is all over it. Think big!
