GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Enjoy the first week of June because things get…..well, a bit complicated for you the rest of the month. First if all, your ruling planet Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th. That’s enough to drive a Gemini crazy (especially when it creeps back into Gemini on the 17th) but it is actually Mars that once again causes some headaches. But back to Mercury for a minute: between the 7th and 13th Mercury, Venus, and Saturn make an interesting set of angles which should facilitate deep communication in relationships. It is a very process-oriented Geminicombination, and it is important that you let yourself really dive into a deep discussion and not stay on the surface. This is also a great combo for deciding to pursue something artistic – voice lessons, bass guitar, calligraphy. Oh, and did I mention the Sagittarian Full Moon on the 13th? This is a bombastic lunation in any case, and the Mars aspects make it even more explosive since Mars, now moving direct, squares Pluto pretty much from the 8th til the 21st.   The world stage will be jumping but make no mistake about it, Mars-Pluto aspects enable you to move mountains. Now is the time to tackle a seemingly insurmountable task, to harness your will and passion and do some fabulous organizing. Go ahead—take on combatting racism or organize your neighborhood to stop fracking. After Mars squares Pluto, it opposes Uranus for the rest of the month. Hair trigger temper, perhaps? Be careful!   And stay away from lightning – Mars and Uranus have a lot to do with electrical energy! Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st, when the Sun enters Cancer, and on the 23rd, Venus enters your own sign of Gemini and quickly squares Neptune in Pisces, making you all dreamy and mushy – it is a great time for creative and spiritual inspiration as well as romance. There is a beautiful New Moon in Cancer on the 27th, and the Jupiter- Lunar Node aspects underscore the importance of relationships to you. You’ll have a good time with this one!

CANCER (JUNE 21- JUL 21) June brings us a return to some tumult, at least on the global front. That pesky Mars!   It was retrograde for so long and now that it has turned around and is picking up speed it spends most of June aspecting Pluto and then Uranus, hot combinations that have the potential to be anything from stressful to destructive …. Whaddyagonna do? All you can do is enjoy the relative peace of the first week of June, and gleefully enter the dreamscape of Mercury retrograde, which begins on June 7th in Cancer, no less. It stays retrograde til July Cancer2nd, and half of that time it moves back into Gemini. But you have it in Cancer til the 17th – yumm. Go with the flow. Between the 7th and 13th Mercury retro makes interesting angles to Venus and Saturn, allowing you to take stock of relationships, and also consider a commitment to a creative pursuit. There is a big full moon in Sag on the 13th, all fire and hot air, with people’s bombast exaggerated by Mars squaring Pluto. But Mars and Pluto also give you focus and organizing ability, so it’s a good time to tackle a project.   The Sun enters your own sign on June 21st – the Summer Solstice. Yay! Mars catches up to its opposition to Uranus so the world will be insane. Your only job is to go with the flow of Mercury retrograde and let the energy take you, especially around the gorgeous new moon in Cancer on the 27th.   Venus in Gemini squares Neptune in Pisces at the end of the month, which is great for creative inspiration and binge watching Long Island Medium.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) Dare I say it?Just when we thought it was safe to go back in the water…..June brings us more Mars action. I know, you thought we were done with Mars for a while. Yes and no. Mars is moving direct, not retrograde, but retracing its steps this month and making big angles to Pluto and then Uranus. Oy! And then, just to really drive you crazy, Mercury goes retrograde on June 7th til July 2nd, in Cancer and then in Gemini. Your only choice this month is to expect the world to be in an uproar and to not be surprised by anything in the Mercury 322x450x1354615847_leo-positive-traits.jpg.pagespeed.ic.CT9U3fKX_Cdepartment. That means communication, travel, and technology could go awry. But don’t despair! This pass of Mercury retrograde is very fruitful on the creative front. From the 7th til 13th, Mercury retro makes an interesting angle to Venus and Saturn, making for deep interchange in relationships, as well as great potential for taking up new creative pursuits. Go hear some music. Go play some music. There is a big Sagittarian full moon on the 13th along with the Mars-Pluto square. You are likely to be pretty hyped up, and inspired by the possibility for constructive collective political action. Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st, followed by some very sweet transits that make time with friends and loved ones really satisfying. There is a beautiful new moon in Cancer on the 27th and a Venus-Neptune square. Fun and inspiring — enjoy!

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) What a month! Your ruling planet Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th and Mars engages in some planetary antics, making this a complicated month for you. Don’t worry – there are bright spots. The first week of the month is quite peaceful, and then Mercury turns around. You know the drill – expect changes in Virgo_Arttravel, technology, and communication, and stay very close to your intuition for guidance. Between the 7th and the 13th, in the build up to the Sag full moon, there is an interesting set of aspects between Venus, Mercury and Saturn. Expect to have deep and serious talks with people close to you. You will be facing a difficult situation that will require very honest communication. The Mars Pluto aspects will put you in charge and having to exercise leadership, and you know how that goes – there could be blowback. Mars keeps on moving, and then aspects Uranus for the second half of the month which may be especially tension-producing. Mercury retrogrades back from Cancer into Gemini at the same time, and you will have to work harder at not fighting Mercury retrograde. The end of the month brings the Summer Solstice on the 21st, a beautiful new moon in Cancer on the 27th, and a nice Venus Neptune square.   These aspects are great for your creative process, and Jupiter and the North Node ensure you are having a good time with family and friends.

LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) Oops — I do believe I misspoke! There is indeed more Mars weirdness this month, since Mars direct in Libra now retraces its steps and makes aspects to Pluto and Uranus… The world will be jumping. And on top of that, Mercury goes retrograde on June 7th, first in Cancer and then in Gemini. The gist of this is that you Librawon’t feel like you have very much control over anything. When Mercury first turns retro, it makes an interesting angle to Venus and Saturn between the 7th and 13th.   This will give you the capacity to have some very deep discussions about relationship and commitment, and all of this happens while the energy builds to a full moon in Sag on the 13th. Be a bit careful about the potential for miscommunication – between Mercury retrograde and the Sagittarian tendency to be careless. Then Mars squares Pluto and you are very, very focused, able to plow through a big nudgy piece of work. Go for it!   The Summer Solstice occurs on the 21st when the Sun enters Cancer. Mars in Libra opposes Uranus the second half of the month, making for some tension and pressure in combination with the Cancer energy, which is very sensitive, feeling its boundaries easily aggressed. So you may be touchy. But Venus in Gemini squares Neptune at the end of the month, which is great for romance, especially with nice Jupiter-Lunar Node aspects to facilitate connection

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) You have Mercury retrograde to look forward to this month, along with intense Mars aspects. Of all people, you should love Mercury retrograde in all its dreamtime deliciousness. You have to just go with the flow of it and stay very close to your intuition. It begins on June 7th in Cancer and ends July 2nd in Gemini. The Gemini part of it is likely to be more challenging in terms of surfacing problems with technology and travel – but Scorpio Funnythat’s not until June 17th. Here I am being all Mercury retrograde and non-linear about what you should expect this month…. So here goes. The start of the month is quite calm, and then for a week beginning June 7th Mercury retro makes an angle to Venus and Saturn. Hmm. Interesting. It is really fruitful in terms of deep conversations about commitment, and also fun and creative play. Then there is a Sag full moon on the 13th along with intense Mars Pluto aspects. Issues about speaking truth to power will be up for you, so get ready to have your leadership tested. Then during the second half of the month Mars opposes Uranus, which is erratic and tense and electrifying. Be careful about arguing or tussling with people; Mercury retrograde could make your Scorpionic edge sharper than you realize. Then the Sun enters Cancer on the 21st and it’s the Summer Solstice, followed by a beautiful new moon in Cancer on the 27th. Venus squares Neptune the last week of June, which is wonderful for creative and spiritual expression. Romance too!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) June is an odd month, bringing a sense of forward movement through Mars and also a release of planetary frustration after the months of buildup while Mars was retrograde… More importantly, Mercury goes retrograde on June 7th, first in Cancer and then in Gemini. Hmm. The release of Mars energy makes you want to control things yet Mercury retrograde makes that kind of impossible, so you really have to chill. Here is the-hunger-games-katniss-bowthe story – from the 7th til the 13th Mercury retro makes interesting angles to Venus and Saturn. You’ll be talking – a lot, no doubt – about commitment. It is a great week to go deeply in conversation and also creatively. Moreover, on the 13th is a Sagittarian full moon so you may be particularly fired up, particularly wildly enthusiastic and over the top, even for you. Mars in Libra squares Pluto and so you will be ready to organize and take on an insurmountable challenge.   By the way, the world will be a mess, so you will have plenty to work on.   Just be aware that with Mercury retrograde things do not necessarily unfold the way you think they will. Your job is to stay open and intuitive this month and not get trapped in rationality….. The Summer Solstice occurs on the 21st, followed by some really nice aspects for deepening relationships. Use the Venus Neptune square during the last week of June for creative and spiritual inspiration—or at the least, to get a great haircut.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19) What can I say – even though Mars is direct, it is still wreaking havoc with the world and with your life. It is now that Mars is packing its punch, after the period of recoil. It is still in Libra, and now moving into a square position with Pluto and an opposition to Uranus. Fun! And – Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th, first in Cancer and then in Gemini. So you absolutely have to go with the flow and stop thinking that you have any saturnaliamodicum of control over anything… Having said that, there is plenty happening that is positive, so you have no choice but to look on the bright side. First, between the 7th and 13th there is an interesting set of aspects between Mercury retro, Venus and Saturn. That is about very deep connection and commitment, and it is also an opportunity to pay attention to a yearning you have for creative expression. Don’t be surprised if you sign up for voice lessons, or jazz piano. Energy will be building that week toward the Sagittarian full moon on the 13th, and the Mars Pluto square. You will be grappling with a big issue and it will feel critical. Be careful of thinking you are the only one to take care of the situation. The second half of the month brings Mars into aspect with Uranus, making you feel a bit overwrought, yet it is a great time for innovation and exploring something different.   Then on June 21st, the Sun enters Cancer and it’s the Summer Solstice. Yay! The last week brings beautiful aspects for connection, friendship, and intimacy.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) This is a slightly odd month. All of the tension that built up from months of Mars retrograde gets released in several big bangs once Mars squares Pluto and then opposes Uranus this month. Oy—the world will be bonkers. And – Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th and stays that way til July 2nd. You know the drill: go with the flow. Stay close to your intuition, and allow plans and ideas to change. Mercury retrograde is downtime for

the linear mind, so you’ll have access to a different set of cylinders in that big brain of yours. From the 7th to 13th, there is an interesting angle between Mercury retro, Venus and Saturn. Ooh – time to have a serious relationship talk, or a few of them. It is a great time to go deeply. Things will become clarified on the Sagittarius full moon on the 13th, especially in regard to the Gemini’s and Sag’s in your life.   Mars squares Pluto and you will be a powerhouse of energy, taking on more projects than you should…but what else is new? Beware of thinking you’re the “only one who…” The second half of the month brings some tension and also creative expression – you are chomping at the bit for a new challenge.   Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st, and the universe delivers some beautiful aspects for intimacy and friendship. It is a good time all around. Enjoy!

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) Well, this is an interesting month! First, all of the pent-up Mars –retrograde frustration gets released, and the world will be hopping with crisis, sorry to say. And Mercury goes retrograde on June 7th, starting off its retrograde pass in Cancer and then moving back into Gemini on June 17th. You’ll be spacey while it’s retrograding in Cancer but are likely to be annoyed when it moves back into Gemini. That’s when you can expect those linear things you depend on (your laptop, iPad, smartphone, etc) to have some issues… 10367401-atlentic-ocean-waves-near-biarritz-franceYou know the drill – you have to go with the flow and stay very close to your intuition during Mercury retrograde. No big decisions, just let inspiration and knowledge bubble up from your unconscious. Otherwise this month, from the 7th til the 13th, there is an interesting Mercury retro-Venus-Saturn combination which should facilitate commitment and discipline, in regard to both relationships and art.   Then the Mars-Pluto square and the build up to the Sag full moon on the 13th might have you a bit overwrought.   You will have to take pains to calm down because the rest of the month has you very overstimulated once Mars opposes Uranus. You will be wanting something but you don’t know what it is, and your temper may be frayed. You’ll be touchy as hell, between the Mars action, Mercury retrograde, and the Sun in Cancer after the 21st.   Touchy but inspired!   Then the end of the month brings great planetary combinations for intimacy and connection. And it’s summer. Yay!

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)   I mistakenly promised that May would be the last month of Martian intensity but….um…. that turns out to not be exactly the case! Sorry about that! Certainly May was the last month of its being retrograde, but the punch of Mars direct is coming now, since Mars in Libra is now retracing its steps from last month.   And it starts out squaring Pluto and then opposes Uranus, so June has few bangs and bumps. And did I mention that Mercury goes retrograde on June 7th?   Overall, it is a fascinating month! The action really starts the Ariesweek of June 7th, when Mercury retro makes important angles to Venus and Saturn while Mars squares Pluto. The Mercury picture is kind of intense, and it gives you the ability to go very deeply in relationship and face commitment. Very exciting, actually. The Mars Pluto square will inspire you to want to move mountains and start your own personal social change movement – be aware of that contradiction! You can’t do it alone! If you find yourself thinking “I’m the only one who…” then you’ll know to take a step back. That Arian fiery tendency will be exacerbated by the Sagittarian full moon on the 13th.   After a week of Mars-Pluto we get a couple of weeks of Mars-Uranus, which is more tense and explosive, and also very innovative. Remember – Mercury is retrograde so let your intuition guide you. Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st, followed by a beautiful new moon in Cancer on the 27th.   It’s all mush all the time for you, especially with the nice Jupiter-Node aspects and Venus squaring Neptune. You’re a lovey-dovey mess.

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) I know, things have been messy for a while, and June is no different on that front. Mars may no longer be retrograde but it sure packs a punch this month. And did I mention that Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th? But your life is interesting. Venus is in your own sign and by the 7th it makes a very intense Taurusangle to Mercury retro and to Saturn. That is about commitment and deep relationship connection, and it is also about play and creative expression. Make a commitment to learn something new – especially musically. Voice lessons, jazz piano, classical guitar. Something like that. Then Mars squares Pluto and the world is a freaking mess. You fly into organizer mode and grab your Taurean bull by the horns. Try not to overdo it, and remember whatever it is you are doing, you can’t do it alone. It is time to inspire and engage others to join you, not for you to be a control queen. And stay close to your intuition this month while Mercury is retrograde. Once Mercury retrograde leaves Cancer and backs into Gemini you might be aggravated by the technological difficulties Mercury retro is famous for… but it is so much more than that.   Harness that deep earthy knowing of yours and you’ll be fine. Be aware of short –temperedness and tension the second half of the month when Mars opposes Uranus, and yet it is also time to stretch and bring new things – and new technology — into your life. Then it’s the Summer Solstice on the 21st – yay! – and delicious relationship combinations at the end of the month. Enjoy!
