LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  Oh honey!  The start of October is quite insane, and you are in the middle of every firestorm.  The build up to the new moon in Libra on the 5th is quite brutal–  Saturn and the North Node are close together in Scorpio and so you’re feeling a disconnect in relationships.  To make matters worse, the Sun is moving very close to making a T -square with Uranus and Pluto!  Oy!   You’re a bundle of nerves, especially if your birthday is this week. The good news is Librathat  Venus in Scorpio squares Mars in Leo so it is actually a good time to get work done (unless you’re the US government, of course). Venus and Mars together are about shared purpose, so distract yourself from angst with some work.  The new moon in your own sign on the 5th should open up worlds of possibility for you, especially once Venus enters Sagittarius on 7th and immediately squares Neptune. Be open to romantic possibilities and artistic expression. The Saturn Mercury conjunction that week facilitates some very detail-oriented work or study.    Get ready for the whopping full moon on the 18th which is also a lunar eclipse, amplifying the excessive Aries energy of the full moon.  Mars will have just entered Virgo and opposes Neptune – if your birthday is around the 18th you’ll have that wild influence all year!  I think of Mars and Neptune being about the creation of atmosphere, kind of like Storm in X-Men. Ooh she is very powerful, making all that weather!   Get ready to have big creative impact, in other words.  Don’t forget that Mercury goes retrograde on the 21st for 3 weeks. That’s three weeks of feeling deep subtext in all your interactions… Then the Sun enters Scorpio and it’s Halloween with some nice intimacy transits.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  It’s October and the planets are moving into your kind of sign… Mercury has just entered Scorpio and Venus is there as well, so you’re feeling more at home astrologically speaking.  The first week of October is pressures and tense, because of the Uranus-Pluto business. Saturn conjunct the North Node doesn’t make relationships easy right now either.  Tension should ease once we get past the new moon in Libra on the 5th. This may be tumultuous on the world stage but it also opens up some possibilities.  Mercury in Scorpio catches up to Saturn the week of the 7th Scorpio Funnywhich may strain communication. If you have some detailed work to do, now is the time.  Then Venus enters Sagittarius and squares Neptune which is wonderful for romance and creativity.  It is followed by Mars entering Virgo and opposing Neptune on the 15th, just in time for the big full moon in Aries on the 18th.  There will be a great deal of emotional energy expended on this full moon, so get ready.  The Mars Nptune effect facilitates expansiveness in any Neptunian realm such as art or healing. Then Mercury retrogrades in Scorpio on the 21st—aren’t you lucky?!   This will just enhance your already deeply intuitive ways!  The Sun enters your own sign on the 23rd, and the last week of October is pretty chill… Enjoy it. Then there are good aspects for intimacy at the very end of the month.

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21)  Things are cooking for you this month, if you can just get through this first week of October when the Uranus Pluto tension is really hard.  You are feeling pressed and stretched and pulled in many directions.  Just remember to stay close to your deep internal sense of what is right and how you should move through challenges, and you’ll be fine.  In any case, tension should ease a bit after the new moon on the 5th which opens the door for all kinds of unexpected opportunities and changes.  Venus enters your own sign on the 7th – nice!  It spends a few Sagittariusdays squaring Neptune, making you romantic and extending your force field quite a bit….  At the same time Saturn is conjunct Mercury in Scorpio and be sure that doesn’t bring out your control queen tendencies. On the 15th Mars enters Virgo and opposes Neptune, which is great for you if you have to project yourself in any way, as a teacher, to an audience, in terms of creativity or promotion.  Stay calm around the full moon on the 18th since everyone’s emotional stuff will be exaggerated not only by the full moon but also by the Mars Neptune effect.  Get ready for Mercury retrograde ion Scorpio on the 21st. Go with the flow and enjoy your dreams….

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  Things are just c-rr-azy and intense during the first week of October.  You’re working hard and juggling a million things, and also feeling that delightful global angst of the Uranus-Pluto square.  That angst-y feeling builds and comes to a peak around the new moon on the 5th.  It should ease some after that. Venus enters Sag on the 7th and its square to Neptune is great for inspiration  and vision, especially if you are either in a healing or creative field.  At Capricornthe same time the Mercury Saturn conjunction that week could make you feel uptight and tense and it might put a strain on communication.  Go to some art museums and nurture yourself that way.  Then Mars enters Virgo on the 5th and it opposes Neptune, making for big swirling messy energy.  Expansive and inspired and perhaps a bit overblown because of the full moon on the 18th.  Try to stay calm and remember that everyone is a bit over the top right now.  Get ready for Mercury retrograde in Scorpio on the 21st:  just let your intuition take over and expect to learn things form surprising sources.  Pay attention to your dreams.  Look for some nice shared intimacy at the end of the month.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  October is an interesting month—remember that Libra is a fellow air sign so your comfortable with the energy of it. The month starts off with a nice sense of shared purpose – a joint effort that speaks to you on a  deep level and engages your Uranian vision of humanitarian meaning. Meanwhile people around you are kind of edgy and wigged out with the energy of the Uranus-Pluto square.  Things ease after the new moon on the 5th, and in fact, this new moon facilitates some new beginnings and unexpected plans.  Go for it.  The week of the 7th brings some Aquariuscontradictory impulses of doing detailed mental work and wanting to indulge your creative side.  Hmm.  Stick with the creative inspiration since there will only be more of that once Mars enters Virgo and opposes Neptune.  People’s dramas will be very exaggerated around the full moon and lunar eclipse and so expect a lot of  acting out.  Then Mercury goes retrograde in Scorpio on the 21st; it’s a good time for you to give your extremely active mind a rest and let it rejuvenate.  Remember: Mercury retrograde is down time for the linear mind.  Let your intuition take over.  Enjoy intimacy at the end of the month.

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  Everyone is crazed the first week of October because there is so much uncertainty in the air, so much confusion, No one knows which end is up.  This should get better once the full moon in Libra occurs on the 5th, releasing some political and emotional tension.  It is a good lunation for possibilities and new and surprising expression. Venus enters Sag on the 7th and squares Neptune, also emphasizing creative expression.  Stay in the studio because PiscesSaturn and Mercury may make communication among humans a bit difficult… Then Mars enters Virgo and opposes Neptune, which makes interactions fraught with projection and confusion. The full moon in Aries on the 18th and the Mars-Neptune effect makes everyone take things personally.  So it is a big full moon, followed by Mercury going retrograde on the 21st — in Scorpio, no less. This brings a very deep intuitive sense of knowing to the surface.   Enjoy the last week of the month – you’ll be in dreamtime with that Mercury, and the very end of the month has great aspects for intimacy.

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)   The Sun is in your opposite sign of Libra, and during the first week of October, the Sun in Libra approaches a T-square with Uranus and Pluto.  What does this mean? It means that you are absolutely crazed and tense for 100 reasons you are aware of and 100 more that are completely unconscious.  So you’re a hot mess, honey.  But—it gets better.  A lot of the tension should get released after the new moon on the 5th, which opens the door for all kinds of new and exciting possibilities.  This is followed by a Venus-Neptune square which  has you yearning to complete yourself Aries– in another person or in a creative or spiritual expression.  Hmm—keep an eye on that impulse.  Then Mars enters Virgo on the 15th and immediately opposes  Neptune, helping you carry that Neptunian energy of oneness to others.  Your force field is huge so be aware of that especially as we approach the full moon and eclipse on the 18th – full moon in Aries, no less. Here’s how it will go—you’ll be acting in your own interest (Aries) while believing your saving the world (Mars Neptune).  Pretty interesting!  Then Mercury goes retrograde in Scorpio on the 21st and it’s down time for the linear mind. Just go with the flow – you’ll have a great time at the end of October, mucking around in Scorpio-land.

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)   The world is very crazed during the first week of October but you are somewhere else entirely, very involved in a shared project or effort.  Things may come to a head for the rest of us mortals around the October 5th new moon in Libra, and that opens the door for all kinds of Uranian possibilities and craziness.  Venus enters Sag on the Taurus7th and squares Neptune—it’s a great time for creative inspiration. But keep in mind that Mercury and Saturn are conjunct in Scorpio that week as well, so you’ll have to focus and be detail oriented when you would rather be making art.  On the 15th Mars enters Virgo and opposes Neptune, allowing you to project a vision or image in a very effective and forceful way, especially around the Aries full moon on the 18th.  Your favorite event, Mercury retrograde, occurs in Scorpio on the 21st. remember that Scorpio is your opposite sign so this Mercury retrograde may really drive you crazy.  Allow your linear mind to stop working and be guided by your intuition.  The Scorpio energy is good for you—enjoy it!

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  The world is tense and crazy the first week of October and you feel like a pressure cooker.  Things will shift after the new moon in Libra on the 5th. IN fact, that lunation is powerful for opening up lots of unexpected possibilities.   Stay open.  Venus enters Sagittarius on the 7th and quickly squares Neptune, making you romantic and mushy, or driving you to buy new shoes. Either way you’re enjoying yourself.  Don’t even think about the GeminiSaturn Mercury conjunction also happening that week unless you have a detailed, nudgy project to complete.  Then Mars enters Virgo and opposes Neptune,  exaggerating everyone’s dramas just in time for the Aries full moon and lunar eclipse on the 18th.  People will be wigged out.   However, the Mars Neptune transit is great for art-making and great for healing, so let yourself explore some new expressions.  Mercury, your ruling planet, goes retrograde in Scorpio on the 21st.  Nice!  Just go with the flow and pay attention to your dreams. You can’t force any decisions; you just have to let them emerge.  The end of the month is great for meaningful connections.

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JUL 21)   The world is a very intense place right now and you are kind of sitting in the eye of the hurricane.  There are a lot of swirling winds around you.  Just stay calm; it will be okay.  The first week of October may be

Cancer

insane but it is also good for a shared effort. Enjoy that. The new moon in Libra on the 5th should release tension and open the doors for new possibilities.  It is a very exciting and transformative new moon.  Then Venus enters Sag andsquares Neptune and it is a great week for creative expression.  Things get a little loopy once Mars enters Virgo and opposes Neptune because the influence exaggerates drama and people’s projections on each other.  Lay low on the full moon in Aries on the 18th—it’s a big one.  Then Mercury goes retrograde on the 21st in Scorpio, and you love that.  It’s dreamtime and your clairvoyance will be off the charts.   Remember — no big decisions — just gather information. Enjoy the deliciously Scorpionic rest of the month.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)  The first week of the month is crazy crazy, with Uranus and Pluto creating a pressure cooker of tension.  It should be released with the new moon on the 5th, which is a powerful lunation, crystallizing the transformational power of the time.  Get ready for new opportunities and possibilities, things you never dreamed of.

Babycatt is the star this month because she first appeared on our doorstep in October 10 years ago…

Then Venus enters Sag and squares Neptune which is wonderful for creative expression and for visioning.  It may make

you yearn for something you don’t yet have…. Then Mars enters Virgo ands opposes Neptune which just may make you  go out and find what it is you are looking for.  The Mars Neptune is big expansive energy, and it comes to a head around the full moon in Aries on the 18th.  Get ready for lots of drama and people wanting their way. Then on the 21st Mercury goes retrograde in Scorpio—this transit of Mercury will stimulate your intuition and emotional perceptiveness.  The end of the month brings some nice transits for intimacy and connection.

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)   The month kicks off with a fair amount of tension and angst—people are stressed by the world and feeling anxious. You fall into that category and yet you are also able to get some good work done.  The tension is  released by the new moon in Libra on October 5th, which creates some interesting possibilities for action and Virgo_Artopportunity.  Venus enters sag on the 7th and squares Neptune – use this lovely transit for artistic expression and romance.  At the same time the Saturn Mercury aspects could make for some difficult communication.  Then a week later Mars enters your own sign and it too aspects Neptune.  This transit will be a bit more challenging, as it will facilitate some confusion, projection and thin skins.  At the same time it is a very powerful creative and healing force.  Just chalk it up to another contradiction in these contradictory times!   The full moon in Aries exaggerates these Mars Neptune aspects so get ready for a conflict between asserting individual needs and taking care of others’ needs.   Then Mercury goes retrograde on the 21st, in Scorpio no less.  This is a great transit for letting your linear mind take a rest and allowing yourself to operate on intuition.
