I have been an astrologer for over 40 years, approaching its multiple layers as a language for understanding who we are, what makes us tick, and the conditions in the world around us. As someone who has always been passionately engaged with social change I look at politics astrologically and look at astrology politically as well as personally. 
In my 20’s in New York City I had the good fortune to meet astrologer Gary Christen and apprentice with him for a number of years. He was breaking new ground in putting Uranian astrology on the map, as it were. Uranian astrology was developed by German homeopath Alfred Witte in the 1920s; it is a very homeopathic approach to astrology, taking into account the whole – all of who we are, our environment, and the larger context. Of course I loved it.
Over the years I have crafted my own approach which combines Uranian and western astrology. I use astrology to help guide people through life changes and world-rocking transformations.
After spending many many years working in social change organizations, I became a homeopath. I now feel honored to be able to combine astrology and homeopathy, in the footsteps of Alfred Witte and Samuel Hahnemann in my own wee small way.

Dear Pat, another New Yorker? I went down yesterday, just wonderful to tuck in for a day. 2 hour train ride, one of the reasons I have been trying to keep a toe hold in these parts, NW CT, Hudson Valley area.
Your column is great. I began looking for Witte and Uranian Astrology on the Web and realized it’s the Midoint astrology I’ve heard about and if I could do that kind of math, I’d have gone to Med School and never found Homeopathy!
I recently rediscovered “Dell Horoscope”, the mini Astrology mag., and have been enjoying Bill Meridian. He writes a lot about the planet Hades, I thought he might be talking about Pluto but it didn’t make sense. Seems it’s part of Uranian Astrology. Are there other planets you use? Hades? Zeus? Baffeling!

I am not sure what you are asking. There are many people walking around who survived a twin in utero. That experience can show up in a natal chart. PLease let me know more specifically what you are seeking. thank you.
