TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)   Well, May brings some very interesting planetary action your way, including three lunations—two full moons on the 1st and 31st, and the Taurus new moon on the 16th.  The backdrop of global and national events is still hair-raising, sorry to say, but at least the preponderance of Aries  energy gets increasingly replaced by planets in Taurus and Gemini this month, relieving you of Aries urgency and pressure.  Mars in Aries makes an angle to  Jupiter for the first 9 days of May, a nice combination for inspired effort.  On the 5th Mercury in your sign of Taurus makes an angle to Pluto for a few days in which you can focus on a gnarly piece of work and get it done. By the 9th the Taurus Sun lines up with Neptune for a few dreamy days of creative inspiration.  Venus is cruising through Gemini and you’re feeling more convivial than usual.  Then the 16th brings the delightful Taurus new moon, so good for earthy, grounded pursuits and for planning, and this new moon has the Sun and Moon sitting together with Mercury. You will be an idea factory!   By the 17th Mercury enters Gemini and immediately cozies up to Uranus for a few days—yup, you’ll be an idea factory on crack. As the Sun moves into the last degrees of Taurus, it gets closer and closer to Uranus which is at 1 degree Gemini, so expect to feel wired and wound up.  Everyone wants something from you and your sense of capacity might be just a tad unrealistic.  The Sun enters Gemini on the 20th, immediately intensifying the Uranus effect.  Mars enters your sign on the 18th and by the 23rd lines up with Pluto for a few days of intense organizing and focused work.  Meanwhile Venus enters Cancer also on the 18th and catches up to Neptune for a few days of creative expression and compassion practice.  It’s time to work those loving -kindness muscles!  May ends with a full moon in Sagittarius on the 31st which has Venus in an angle to Uranus, stimulating your vision for radical change and new possibilities.

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  Yikes!  Rather a big month for you! Three lunations and Uranus in your sign, so put on your seat belt. The Scorpio full moon on the 1st was a whopper, kicking up a lot of emotional intensity.  The good news is that Mars in Aries spends the first 9 days of the month in an angle to Jupiter, inspiring goal setting and even some goal accomplishment.  Mercury in Taurus makes an angle to Pluto for a few days on the 5th, a good combination for some deep research or study. Venus is in your sign of Gemini til the 18th, inspiring even more sociability than usual, so enjoy that. On the 9th the Taurus Sun makes an angle to Neptune, a great time for you to make art, go dancing, make music.  The gorgeous Taurus new moon comes on the 16th, a delicious lunation that is excellent for getting into the garden or engaging in some other earthy activities.  This new moon has the Sun, Moon, and Mercury all piled up together so use this lunation for writing or planning.  Then Mercury enters your sign on the 17th and immediately crosses over Uranus, agitating your nervous system and inspiring lots of ideas.  Mars enters Taurus on the 18th, and Venus enters Cancer on the same day, and then the Sun enters Gemini on the 20th, and meets up with Uranus for a few days of wild and crazy.  It feels like “everything-everywhere-all-at-once”: so much is happening in your life on many different levels.  Uranus brings change and pushes through whatever definitions and boundaries we have created for ourselves.
