CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19)  January is a quite beautiful month for you Capricorns !  The first half of the month has Mercury, Venus, and Mars all in your sign, and even more deliciously, Venus and Mars pair up together with each other and with the Capricorn Sun for a full two weeks.  Ooh lala! You are in your element, working hard but enjoying it, setting goals, gaining mastery over some skill or area of knowledge, and all the while in shared effort with others.  Nice!  January 3 brings a Cancer full moon, a good time to bring some of your efforts to completion. Be aware though that everyone’s feelings run high on a Cancer full moon, and you might be particularly impatient with the thin-skinned-ness of others.  Deep breaths.  By the 10^th Jupiter in Cancer spends a few days in an opposition to the Capricorn Sun, Venus, and Mars, shining a light on what fulfillment means to you.  Keep in mind that your friend and ruling planet Saturn is inching back towards Neptune this month, and this effect can be boggy unless you really work your healthful and creative routines. The juicy Capricorn New moon falls on the 18^th, with the Sun and Moon in a conjunction with Mercury and Mars, a really good combination for generating plans and projects.  The Mars-Mercury combo might bring out your bossy side, so watch that.  The Sun moves into Aquarius on the 19^th, Mercury on the 20^th, with Mars following suit on the 23^rd . And Venus has also moved into Aquarius as of the 17^th, so the energy shifts from earthy Capricorn to visionary Aquarius.  However – Pluto is hanging out in the early degrees of Aquarius, so on the 20^th the Sun and Mercury pass over Pluto for a few days and by the 24^th Mars partners with Pluto for the rest of the month. The Pluto effect is deep and powerful and may surface displays of might and /or power struggles, personally and politically, especially when Mars is involved. Use the Saturn -Neptune energy to balance out this energy with peace-making.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 9)  Well, January is a pretty delightful month for you, as long as you can keep hope alive for yourself and others through the return of the boggy Saturn- Neptune conjunction this month….But if anyone can keep hope alive, it’s you! The first half of the January has Mercury, Venus, and Mars all in Capricorn, with Venus and Mars moving in tandem with the Capricorn Sun. Ooh that’s nice!  This is a month to plan and make things happen, and to set intentions and goals.  The Cancer full moon falls on the 3rd, bringing a sense of connection and emotional security to the fore. Let the gratitude flow!  By the 10^th Jupiter in Cancer gets into an opposing angle to the Sun, Venus and Mars, surfacing a sense of fulfilment, and also sparking questions about what’s next for you in life.  Then the Capricorn new moon comes on the 18^th, a really earthy, delicious new moon for new ideas and insights.  On this new moon the Sun and Moon line up with Mercury and Mars, a powerful combination for turning ideas into action.  Be aware that all this Capricorn energy could make you bossy, so rein it in a bit!  Venus enters your sign of Aquarius on the 17^th, and then the Sun follows suit on the 19^th, Mercury on the 20^th, and  Mars on the 23^rd.  Every single one of these Aquarian orbs gets into it with Pluto between the 20^th and the end of the month, surfacing intense focus and also intense power.  If there is a project that requires a great deal of effort, the last week of the month is when you can make it happen.  You will be a force of nature—just be careful that you don’t roll over people along the way…
