ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)   April starts with Venus and Mars paired up and in a quick angle to Uranus.  Your creativity is off the charts, and you’re antsy and filled with energy.  By the 3^rd Mercury makes an angle to Pluto for a few days of introversion and deep thinking. Then the Libra full moon falls on the 6^th, and it is a relatively quiet one, as full moons go. The most pressing aspect is a Saturn-Neptune angle which calls for spiritual and creative discipline. Beware of falling into a Neptunian funk around the full moon.  Then on the 11^th the Sun in your own sign lines up with Jupiter for about four days of completion and fulfillment.  Enjoy!  This also signifies to end of one cycle and the beginning of another for you. It is followed by Venus in Gemini squaring Saturn so you might find yourself going quickly from the Sun-Jupiter high to Venus-Saturn sobriety.  Use Venus and Saturn to sort out some relational commitments.  April 20^th brings a dicey new moon at the tail end of Aries and eclipse that line up with Pluto – oy vey!  It will be a dramatic new moon with global shenanigans.  The Sun enters Taurus right after the new moon, and then on the 21st Mercury goes retrograde in Taurus.  Its retrograde turnaround falls on the earth axis, very close to Uranus. Like I said, global shenanigans –especially about tech and finances. The rest of the month is easy with a nice array of personal planets in Aries, Taurus, Cancer and Gemini.  Venus approaches a square to Neptune at the very end of the month, bringing inspiration and creativity.

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  Interesting month ahead!  April begins with Venus close to Uranus and in an angle to Mars.  You’re jumpy and filled with creative inspiration.  Mercury enters your own sign on the 3^rd and immediately squares Pluto.  You’ll find yourself pulled inward. Dive deeply into something! The Libra full moon falls on the 6^th , and this full moon isn’t too dramatic, thankfully.  The drama is yet to come this month… Saturn and Neptune do make a pesky angle on the full moon, putting pressure on your creative practice.  The good news is that by the 10^th Jupiter in Aries joins up with the Sun for a few days of completion and a sense of endless possibilities. It’s time to bring something to fruition.  Right after that on the 15^th Venus squares Saturn for a few days of a reality check—guess what? even a Taurus can’t do it all.   The 20^th brings  high drama—a new moon and eclipse in the last degree of Aries, right before the Sun enters your sign of Taurus.  The Sun and Moon line up with Pluto.  This will be a difficult new moon for the planet, since the eclipse intensifies its action, and Pluto could bring power struggles and all kinds of political repression.  In any case expect dangerous climate events. Then on the 21^st Mercury turns retrograde in Taurus, within spitting distance of Uranus!  Expect communication and tech issues, and all the Taurus energy puts a spotlight on global financial dynamics.  Deep breaths.  So besides the annoyance of Mercury being retrograde in your own sign, the rest of the month is smooth.  At the very end of the month, Venus gets close to a square to Neptune, stimulating your creativity.    

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20)  April kicks off with a busy line-up of Venus, Mars and Uranus.  Your creativity is really stimulated right now but you have too much to do.  On the 3^rd Mercury enters Taurus and makes a quick square to Pluto, so don’t be surprised if you are pulled inward and into some Plutonic layer of your unconscious. Keep in mind the Libra full moon on the 6^th might exaggerate these feelings.  Saturn and Neptune get into an angle on the full moon, which absolutely requires that you attend to your creativity.  On the 10^th Jupiter and the Sun join up in Aries for a few days of completion and sense of meaning.  You’re feeling fulfilled.  On the 15^th Venus in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces for a few days of relationship stress and a recognition that you need to set some limits.   Just breathe through it.   Save your strength for the powerful new moon and eclipse in the tail end of Aries on the 20^th.  There will be drama, since the Sun and Moon line up with Pluto.  The Sun enters Taurus shortly after the new moon on the 20^th, and then Mercury in Taurus turns retrograde on the 21^st, just a couple of degrees away from Uranus.  Expect the unexpected, especially in regard to power, tech, and finances on a global scale. The good news is that the rest of the month is pretty smooth sailing.  The month ends with Venus in your sign closing in on an angle to Neptune, inspiring your creative juices.

CANCER  (JUNE 21- JULY 21)  Well, it’s an interesting month for you. Mars is in your sign and starts April off by lining up with Venus and Uranus. That is kinda exciting and busy, bringing some unexpected conviviality.  On the 3^rd Mercury in Taurus makes an angle to Pluto and you have a fit of introversion. You’ll need that, since the Libra full moon occurs on the 6^th.   Saturn and Neptune line up on the full moon, exaggerating your sensitivity to everything.  Then on the 10^th the Sun in Aries catches up to Jupiter for a few days of fun and accomplishment.  Enjoy!   On the 15^th Venus in Gemini lines up with Saturn and you might be sensitive and wanting more from relationships.   The 20^th brings a dramatic new moon and solar eclipse in the last degree of Aries, and the Sun and Moon line up with Pluto.  Uh oh.  The world will be a mess. The Sun enters Taurus later on the 20^th and the angle to Pluto becomes exact.  Hold onto your hat.  Then Mercury in Taurus , just inches from Uranus, turns retrograde on the 21^st .  Expect the unexpected,  and expect a some upheaval.  Then the rest of the month moves swimmingly, believe it or not, so go with the flow.  Just expect the usual Mercury retrograde shenanigans.  The month ends with Venus approaching an angle to Uranus—stretch your creative muscles.

LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21)  April is…well… interesting. It begins with a nice angle between Mars in Cancer and Venus and Uranus in Taurus. This is a nice combo for shared effort and activity , and Uranus will add the surprise factor.  Then on the 3^rd Mercury enters Taurus and squares Pluto, inspiring some deep reflection on your part.  Dig deeply into that psyche!  The Libra full moon lands on the 6^th and it’s a quiet one as full moons go. You just have to deal with a Saturn -Neptune angle which puts the focus on healing any long-term conditions or situations you have.  Then on the 10^th the Aries Sun catches up with Jupiter for a few days of completion and fulfillment.  Something is coming to fruition.  This transit is followed on the 15^th by Venus in Gemini squaring Saturn, bringing up some relationship stress.  Then put on your seatbelt for the new moon and solar eclipse in the last degree of Aries on the 20^th, followed quickly by the Sun entering Taurus. VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  Well, April begins with Mars in Cancer lining up with Venus and Uranus, bringing a lot of energy your way for shared creative projects.  The Uranus effect may bring some surprises on the social front.  Mercury enters Taurus on the 3^rd and immediately squares Pluto, so it is a good time for deep mental work.   We are heading towards a Libra full moon on the 6^th and it is a remarkably peaceful full moon. Saturn is in an aspect to Neptune around the full moon, calling forth your disciplined practices of healing and creativity. By the 10th the Aries Sun catches up to Jupiter for a few days of fulfillment. However, on the 15^th Venus in Gemini gets into it with Saturn in Pisces, surfacing some imbalance in relationships, so you may feel a bit let down after the Jupiter high.  At a minimum venus and Saturn will bring a reality check about some part of your life where limits are needed.  Then on April 20^th the new moon and solar eclipse in Aries fall in an exact angle to Pluto.  Uh oh: expect some global tension.  The Sun also enters Taurus on the 20^th, making the Pluto effect even more exact.  On the 21^st Mercury in Taurus turns retrograde and is on the earth axis, very close to Uranus.  Things will be jumping politically, environmentally, financially in all kinds of unexpected ways.  Keep in mind that Mercury retrograde in Taurus might be a pain, messing with plans and projects. LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21)  This is a wild month for you, with so much Aries energy in the sky, bringing activity even when you’d rather  sit around and watch TV.   (Aries is your opposite sign.) April begins with Mars in Cancer making an angle to Venus and Uranus, and you’re busy and overstimulated in some expected and unexpected ways.  It is a good time for shared effort.  Then on the 3^rd Mercury enters Taurus and squares Pluto so dive into some subject matter very deeply.  The Libra full moon falls on the 6^th and it is a pretty calm full moon.  However, that it is in your sign might make you a bit worked up.  Saturn and Neptune are in a powerful angle on the full moon, so you will need to be disciplined in your creative work and not fall into a bog of stuckness.  Then on the 10^th the Aries Sun catches up to Jupiter for a few days where all kinds of things are coming to fruition for you and you feel like there are endless possibilities. Go with it. Just don’t be surprised when Venus squares Saturn on the 15^th bringing a reality check and you might have to make some decisions and set some limits—not easy for a Libra!  Then put on your seatbelt for the new moon and eclipse that falls in the last degree of Aries on the 20^th, squaring Pluto.  Expect bad weather and really bad political behavior. SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21)  Well, this month has some  ups and downs, but what else is new? April begins with a fun and stimulating angle between Mars in Cancer and Venus and Uranus in Taurus.  This combination is excellent for shared effort, with a nice dose of the unexpected.  Then Mercury enters Taurus on the 3^rd and squares Pluto, and it is a good time for ritual and talking with the ancestors.  Go for it.  The Libra full moon falls on the 6^th and has an interesting Saturn Neptune angle, putting a focus on your creative and healing practices.  Otherwise this full moon is quite peaceful, thank god.  Then The Aries Sun catches up to Jupiter on the 10^th for four days of fulfillment and plans coming to fruition.  Venus squares Saturn on the 15^th and you might have to rein in your Jupiter expansiveness a bit.  The dramatic new moon and solar eclipse falls on the 20^th in the last degree of Aries, followed immediately by the Sun entering Taurus.  The Sun and Moon square Pluto bringing climate weirdness and political wrongdoing, and the effect is exaggerated by the eclipse.   Deep breaths.   Then Mercury in Taurus turns retrograde on the 21^st while it sits on the earth axis and gets very close to Uranus.  Oy!  Things will be weird.
