AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19)  Ooh baby. The month begins with a powerful new moon in Aquarius just after midnight on the 1^st, with  the Aquarius Sun and moon in a major angle to Uranus. There is some significant rockin’ and rollin’ going on for the whole planet, and for you as well.  You are keyed up and tense and wanting change and freedom in a big way.  Use the new moon energy to focus your vision.  By the 3^rd the Aquarius Sun catches up to Saturn and you feel some pressure and responsibility for the next few days.  In fact, Saturn spends a solid couple of weeks moving across the earth axis, kicking up a global sense of heaviness, as well as financial and political woes.  Meanwhile Mercury in Capricorn nestles up to Pluto for the first two weeks of the month, and it turns direct late on the 3rd  This makes you deep deep deep.  It’s a good time to delve into some study or reflection and apply your mental muscles to something knotty.   Try to avoid worry, although that might be a challenge for the first half of the month given what’s unfolding in the wider world.  Venus is direct now, having left its retrograde on January 29, but it is moving very slowly in Capricorn.  The good news is that by the 8^th Mars in Capricorn reaches Venus and they move in tandem for the rest of the month. Mars and Venus work together and facilitate shared purpose and collaboration, and being in earthy Capricorn, the shared effort will have concrete and enjoyable results.  Renovate your kitchen or something!   Mercury enters Aquarius on the 14^th, finally leaving Pluto’s side and lightening up your worried self. The 16^th brings a full moon in Leo, with the Sun and Moon in angles to the Lunar Nodes.  There will be lots of big outpourings of feelings and declarations of intention personally and publicly. With the backdrop of the Venus-Mars conjunction, perhaps all the declaring will initiate positive action.  The Sun enters Pisces on the 18^th.  Things are pretty calm until the 24^th when Mercury in Aquarius makes an angle to Uranus, your ruling planet, for a good few days of mental stimulation.  Pay attention to your ideas, no matter how crazy!  By the end of February that Mars -Venus combination in Capricorn gets within spitting distance of Pluto.  That sounds to me like you will get something big accomplished by exerting the tremendous force of your will….

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19)  The New Moon in Aquarius kicks off the month with a bang, since both the Sun and Moon will be in an explosive angle to Uranus. Hold on tight.  By the 3^rd the Aquarius Sun meets up with Saturn in Aquarius and both cross the earth axis for a good few days of global drama.  Mercury in Capricorn turns direct also on the 3rd so remember that the days surrounding even the end of the retrograde can wreak some havoc with travel and timing.   Speaking of Mercury, it sits with Pluto for a full two weeks, a transit that is excellent for very focused, detailed, and deep mental work. It’s a good time for reflection, and be sure not to go down the rabbit hole of worry. The good news this month is that Venus – still in Capricorn but moving direct since January 29^th—meets up with Mars in Capricorn and they move in tandem for the rest of the month. This is a beautiful combination for shared effort and collaboration.  Work may be hard right now but it feels good. And that it’s in Capricorn helps you accomplish very practical goals.  The full moon in Leo falls on the 16^th, making potent angles to the Lunar Nodes.   This is all about relationships, and expressing one’s true feelings, making declarations.  If there is something you’ve been needing to say to someone, this full moon will bring it forth. The Sun enters Pisces on the 18^th – yay!  — and the rest of the month is pretty smooth sailing.  On the 24th Mercury in Aquarius squares Uranus for a few days when your nerves are a -jangle.  Deep breaths!  By the end of February Venus and Mars get quite close to Pluto in Capricorn and you’re able to move some mountains that need to be moved…

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19)  The Aquarius New Moon falls in the wee morning hours of the 1^st, starting February off with a bang, since the Sun and Moon are lined up with Uranus.  Then a couple of days later the Aquarius Sun catches up to Saturn in Aquarius and they both move across the earth axis. TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20)  The Aquarius new moon falls on the 1^st with heavy Uranus aspects, starting off the month with high global drama and more uncertainty. By the 3^rd the Aquarius Sun meets up with Saturn in Aquarius as they cross the earth axis, bringing yet another raft of sobering events.  What can I say? Stay calm and stay strong—it passes.  Mercury turns direct on the 3rd, and interestingly, spends a full two weeks cozying up to Pluto. GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) February begins with an Aquarius new moon on the 1^st that has an intense angle to Uranus. Get ready for more planetary rockin’ and rollin’.  By the 3^rd the Aquarius Sun catches up to Saturn in Aquarius, as they both cross the earth axis.  You—and everyone else-  will feel stressed and pressured, as we all witness some major political, economic, and environmental spasms. You are feeling the weight of the world, as everyone waits with bated breath to see what is going to unfold.  Do what you can to stay calm.  Mercury, now at the tail end of Capricorn, turns direct  on the 3rd.
