 CANCER (JUNE 21- JUL 21) Oh my god, this month has a lot going on! The good news is that none of the combinations stay in place for very long, emphasizing the fluidity of the month and the extremely uncertain dynamics of the Neptune-Uranus half-square – the only transit that does last all month. My advice is to keep moving and not be too attached to outcome….   July begins with great aspects for love and connection which by the 3^rd give way to a Mars-Pluto opposition. This intense combo can bring wonderful focus if you need to rearrange your closets or organize a family reunion; on the world stage it portends some bellicosity. By the 5^th the Sun in your sign of Cancer squares Jupiter, bringing a sense of completion and fulfillment. This quickly shifts by the 9^th to the full moon in Capricorn which has Pluto all over it. The world’s shadow will be very exposed, what can I say. Expect some drama, but then there is a bit of lull til the week of the 16^th when all kinds of odd dynamics unfold. Venus in Gemini squares Neptune for a few days, making you dreamy and romantically inclined. Keep your shields up, though, because the big guns are firing: the Sun and Mars in Cancer square Uranus and make an aspect to Neptune. It’s like being in one of those rooms in a fun house that’s at a weird angle and you go slippy-sliding across the floor. What you thought was happening isn’t and what is happening is not what you expected. Then there is a new moon on the 23^rd in the first degree of Leo, followed by a few days of Venus squaring Saturn. Dive deeply into your values—that’s how to stay grounded in the midst of all this crazy stuff. Mars in Leo marches forward with the Sun during the last week of July, so everyone is busy busy busy. LEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) Whoa, put on your seat belt! This month is nothing but shifting sands, so you had better stay relaxed and not be too attached to outcome…July begins with pretty relationship aspects while Venus in Taurus squares the Lunar nodes, but by the 3^rd some intense pressure kicks in with the Mars-Pluto opposition. You can either throw yourself into work or go study martial arts – my advice is the latter. Fighting is a trap you want to be sure to avoid this month but strengthening your discipline and working on your chi, I’m all for it. By the 5^th the Sun in Cancer squares Jupiter. Use this combination to have fun and to consider what fulfillment really means to you. The 9^th brings a big full moon in Capricorn which lines up with Pluto – let’s hope the Jupiter aspects mitigate the power -mongering dynamics of this full moon. But for a few days after the full moon the Sun moves into a tighter opposition to Pluto and we can expect the world to be showing its shadow side… Sigh. Things calm down til the week of the 16^th , when Venus and Neptune make you all mushy and romantic. Enjoy it, because a few days later Mars in late Cancer catches up to the Sun, squares Uranus and half-squares Neptune. People will be busy and edgy and weird. Everyone will be unpredictable, including you. Use the powerful new moon on the 23^rd in the first degree of Leo to focus on your values. Venus and Saturn will give you the grounding you need to handle the discombobulated energy of the other planets. VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21) Let me be frank: this month is nuts. The Uranus-Neptune half square creates a backdrop of uncertainty and change for everyone. You have to remain very fluid this month and not to be too attached … to anything. There are some transits this month but the threat of bellicosity and patriarchal acting out is pretty severe. But I digress! July actually begins with a few days of sweet relationship aspects, so enjoy! By the 3^rd Mars in Cancer opposes Pluto, bringing you great focus if you need to organize a conference or harass Congress.   Then the Sun in Cancer squares Jupiter, making you aware of fulfillment and what that means to you. It also brings a good time. Then the Sun moves towards an opposition to Pluto which falls right on the full moon in Capricorn on the 9^th. Oh jeez – the world will be showing its shadow side. Things are quite calm til the week of the 16^th. Venus in Gemini squares Neptune, inspiring romance and artistic expression but then we have the trifecta of the Sun, Mars and Uranus lined up for a few days of craziness. People will be edgy and scrappy and remember that anything that involves Uranus this month also triggers Neptune. This makes the situation very hard to read, contributing to everyone’s sense of uncertainty. And god knows you hate not knowing. You just have to ride this out. There is a juicy new moon in the first degree of Leo on the 23^rd, followed by a Venus-Saturn square. Focus on your values and your commitments – that will give you the groundedness you need to deal with this Mars-Uranus-Neptune business.   The end of the month brings a nice Jupiter-Pluto square, which is great for developing projects and resources.

 LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) July is just plain weird. The overarching influence is one of uncertainty. Tings just keep changing, thanks to Uranus and Neptune, and there is nothing you can do about it. July does begin with nice relationship aspects, so enjoy. By the 3^rd Mars aspects Pluto, which will aid you immensely if you need to focus on a bear of a project or resume your martial arts training, but beware of power struggles. The Sun quickly squares Jupiter in Libra and you are aware of the end of one cycle and the beginning of another, as well as how close or far you are from your sense of fulfillment. The 9^th has the Sun opposing Pluto on the full moon in Capricorn. Oy. Where’s Wonder Woman when we need her? The patriarchy is acting out just a bit….Then we have a lull in the action til the week of the 16^th, when you get some high romance transits but keep your shields up because the powerful trifecta of Mars, the Sun, and Uranus could send some instability your way. Get ready for the unexpected and avoid arguments. Keep in mind that Neptune is also involved in this transit so things just are not what they appear to be. There is a juicy new moon in the first degree of Leo on the 23^rd, followed by a Venus- Saturn square. Then the Sun squares Jupiter for a few days of feeling happy and fulfilled. But Jupiter also connotes transition, so keep in mind that everything is in flux right now. There is a big full moon in Cancer on the 9^th which is lined up with Pluto. Oh boy, the world is showing its shadow. Then there is a bit of a lull til the week of the 16^th, when Venus and Neptune bring you some days of dreaminess and romance. But wait, shields up: Mars in Cancer catches up to the Sun and they square Uranus for a few days of craziness. People are on edge and scrappy and Npetune is also in this mix, making things very unclear and uncertain. No one knows which end is up. Avoid arguments and use your powerful intuition to get grounded, especially on the July 23^rd new moon in Leo. This new moon is followed by a Venus Saturn square, so stay true to your values and everything will be fine.  SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) This is a weird month with very intense and changing conditions.. so you have to stay loose! July begins with nice relationship aspects and a sense of shared purpose. Then Mars opposes Pluto and if you have a task or project to accomplish, you can attack it with great focus. By the 5^th the Sun squares Jupiter and you are poignantly aware that this is the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. It kinda takes your breath away but it’s good. The full moon in Capricorn on the 9^th lines up with Pluto – oy veh. The world is a mess and showing its shadow side. Things calm down til the week of the 16^th. First Venus squares Neptune for a few days of dreaminess and romantic fancy, and then life gets a bit too real. Mars catches up to the Sun in Cancer and they square Uranus. This scrappy trifecta puts everyone on edge and keep in mind it also pulls in Neptune’s influence, so nothing is what it seems. Things are very weird and uncertain and everyone’s life is in flux. Use the new moon in the first degree of Leo on the 23^rd to settle yourself down and focus. The following few days bring a Venus Saturn square which will help ground you in your values and commitments, even as the Sun –Mars energy has you very busy and on the fly.  CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19) This is one helluva month and it hits you like a ton of bricks. The good news is that everything is very fluid and changeable, and the bad news is that everything is fluid and changeable…. You have to stay very loose this month, not easy for your Capricorn self. July starts with a nice few days of relationship aspects. Enjoy them, since by the 3^rd Mars opposes Pluto, which is great if you have a big organizing project to accomplish and if not, beware of throwing your weight around in power struggles. Then by the 5^th Jupiter squares the Sun for a few days of all around good feeling and a sense of accomplishment. The 9^th brings a full moon in your sign of Capricorn in which the Sun and Moon all line up with Pluto. Your force field is rather large and be mindful of how much you affect others…Meanwhile the world is showing its shadow side. Sigh. But then there is a bit of a lull til the 16^th, when Venus and Neptune pair up for some dreaminess. Keep your shields up because Mars in Cancer catches up to the Sun and they both square Uranus. People will be off the hook, nerves will be jangled, and because Neptune is also part of this line-up, things will be massively unclear. Avoid arguments and stay focused. The new moon in the first degree of Leo on the 23^rd will help you stay focused, and then the Venus-Saturn square that follows will ground you in your commitments and values. AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) This is one ridiculous month, with many changing and changeable dynamics. Keep in mind that nothing is quite what it seems, that what you think is settled one minute may change the next. You have to stay very fluid, not always easy for a fixed sign like yours… July begins though with nice relationship aspects, so enjoy them. They are followed on the 3^rd by a Mars Pluto opposition which gives you great organizing ability and also the ability to throw your weight around inadvertently. So watch out for power struggles. The Sun squares Jupiter on the 5^th, signifying completion and the turning of the wheel of fate. You’re hyper aware that something is ending and something else is beginning, and you’re not sure how you feel about it…. The full moon in Capricorn on the 9^th brings this all to a head, especially since the Sun and Moon oppose Pluto on the full moon. The world’s shadow will be visible, I’m afraid. But then there is a bit of a lull til the week of the 16^th. Venus squares Neptune for a few days of dreamy romance and desire, but keep your shields up. Right after that Mars in Cancer catches up to the Sun and they square Uranus, making everyone insane and edgy. This is a fractious combination and because Neptune is also involved it will be hard to tell which end is up. It is this uncertainty which will put everyone on edge, including you.   Stay calm, and work with the new moon in Leo on the 23^rd to find your footing. PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) July is just plain weird, very unsettled and uncertain. All you can do is go with it and spend as much time at the beach as you can…The month begins with nice relationship aspects so enjoy. Then by the 3^rd, Mars opposes Pluto for a few days of intense focus if you’re working on a project or a big fat power struggle if you’re not…The Sun squares Jupiter on the 5^th bringing some awareness of fulfillment and what it means to you. Try to be mindful since we are heading into a full moon in Capricorn on the 9^th which lines up with Pluto, illuminating all those power struggles and needs to assert oneself. And god knows the world might be showing its shadow and patriarchal dynamics reigning more unchecked than usual… Then there is a bit of a lull til the week of the 16^th, when Venus and Neptune bring some dreamy yearnings (again, go to the beach!). Keep your shields up though because Mars in Cancer catches up to the Sun and they square Uranus. This edgy and tense trifecta will have everyone’s nerves jangled, and keep in mind that Neptune is also in this planetary picture, clouding and confounding things. It will be hard to know what is going on, and you just have to stay grounded. Use the new moon in Leo on the 23^rd to do just that, and take advantage of the Venus Saturn square to ground down into the importance of relationships and commitments. ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19) If June was weird, July is even weirder, and my advice is to lay very low this month if you can. Keep in mind that life is very uncertain right now and people are unnerved. And for you, all the planets in the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn are triggering the crap out of you. So do what you can to stay grounded and calm! July does begin with nice relationship transits so enjoy them! By the 3^rd we get Mars opposing Pluto, which is wonderful for accomplishing a bear of an organizing task or harassing Congress, but if you’re not careful you could fund yourself in a fruitless power struggle. The Sun square Jupiter on the 5^th and you are very aware of transitions, of cycles beginning and ending. Then the Pluto energy gets kicked up again by the Sun and Moon on the full moon in Capricorn the 9^th. Get ready – the world will be exposing its shadow. Not fun. Then there is a lull til the week of the 16^th when there are dreamy and romantic Venus Neptune aspects. Enjoy them, but remember that everything changes. And of course Neptune is also in the mix, so no one knows which end is up.   Better head for your yoga mat and stay there — no matter how much you are compelled to action. And we are heading into a period fraught with power struggles and patriarchal acting out in the run-up to the Capricorn full moon on the 9^th. This full moon lines up with Pluto. The world’s shadow will be showing. Sigh.   Then there is a bit of a lull til the week of the 16^th, when Venus squares Neptune for some dreamy inspiration and romance. But keep your shields up because a minute later Mars in Cancer catches up to the Sun and they square Uranus in a trifecta of tension and scrappiness. Oy veh. Stay away from conflict. And Neptune is also in this line-up so the situation will be changeable and unclear. Mars and the Sun will inspire action when no one really knows what to do. The world will also be showing its shadow, and we will see a lot of patriarchal acting out… Then there is a bit of a lull til the week of the 16^th, when Venus squares Neptune, focusing your romantic yearnings and even discontent. Hold on, sweetheart. Five minutes later Mars in Cancer catches up to the Sun and they both square Uranus. Oy veh – that’s some fractious, active, edgy energy! People’s nerves will be jangled and no one will know which end is up since Neptune is also in this picture, clouding the hell out of things.
