LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT21) This month is kind of a wild ride but you can handle it… You just have to roll with the ongoing punches. First, Mercury goes retrograde on October 4th, making for an interesting Yom Kippur and Feast of St Francis. (Isnt it on St Francis Day when we’re supposed to take our animals to church? Now that’s a real Mercury retrograde event!) Mercury begins its retrograde pass in early Scorpio and by the 10th it sneaks back into Libra. You Libraknow what I always say: Mercury retrograde in one’s own sign can be tricky. Give up having any control over all kinds of things …like your brain, or your ability to stay awake. It’s retrograde til the 25th, by the way. But I am getting ahead of myself ! October brings us a major full moon in Aries on the 8th, and it’s a Lunar Eclipse. Interestingly, it occurs right at the same degree of Uranus in Aries. Oh jeez – expect global drama at the least and some personal shenanigans as well. This lunation will spotlight self-aggrandizing behavior, and someone’s self-focus will bug the hell out of you. Mars in Sag squares Chiron at the same time, and that will augment the issues everyone is having with willfulness and warmongering. But here’s the good news. Venus is in Libra most of the month and chases the Sun. By the 15th it catches up to the Sun and the North Lunar Node . Venus sticks close to the Sun for the rest of the month. The week from the 15th through 22nd will be especially nice for intimacy and connections, and for generally feeling really good about the people in your life. Then there is a potent new moon in the first degree of Scorpio on the 23rd, and a solar eclipse to boot. This is a delicious new moon with a big dose of Venus, so use it to focus your intention on what’s really important to you. And – get into your garden and plant your garlic! The other key influence this month is that Jupiter in Leo gets within range of a square to Saturn in Scorpio. This aspect is tighter during the second half of the month. It’s an interesting combination because it brings acertain stability. Saturn reins in Jupiter’s excess and Jupiter moderates Saturn’s sobriety. It’s a good aspect for thinking about where you want to invest your resources on all levels—emotionally, financially, and energetically.

SCORPIO (OCT 22-NOV 21) October is a tad more tumultuous and way less dreamy than September was. Out with Neptune and in with Uranus! But I Scorpio Funnydigress.. First, Mercury goes retrograde on October 4th, starting its retrograde pass in Scorpio but edging back into Libra by the 10th. It stays retrograde til the 25th, so get ready for 3 weeks of the usual Mercury-retrograde shenanigans. That means plans –especially travel-related ones—may go awry and communication may go sideways. You have to go with the flow! October 8th brings a very powerful full moon and eclipse in Aries with Uranus at the same degree. Oy vey! A full moon in Aries is always intense, given that Aries is a headlong, fiery, willful energy, and with Uranus in the mix I would expect this full moon to be perfectly crazed. People will be reactive and dramatic and out of control, and the world will be as well.   Steer clear of volcanoes – just sayin’. But then things shift mid- month.   Venus catches up to the Sun around the middle of the month along with the North Node, making the week of the 15th a pretty delightful one in terms of relating to loved ones. The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd along with Venus, and there is also a beautiful new moon in Scorpio that day. That’s your New Moon, honey, so use it. Make some plans, do some wishing and envisioning, and plant your garlic! Jupiter and Saturn enter a square position this month, so it would be good for you to culminate some real estate transactions – just avoid Mercury retrograde!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22- DEC 21) What an interesting month! October goes retrograde on the 4th in the very beginning of Scorpio and moves back into late Libra by the 10th. You know the Mercury retrograde drill: no big decisions, just let them bubble up from your unconscious. It’s down time for the linear mind so go with the flow. October 8th brings a whopping big full moon and eclipse in Aries that sits in the same spot the-hunger-games-katniss-bowas Uranus, making for an explosive time. If your birthday is at the very beginning of Sag, say the 23rd-25th of November, this full moon makes a big fat angle to your Sun. Get ready– you’ll be a lunatic. Issues about passion and will are up for you, especially with Mars squaring Chiron at the same time, and you had better take a chill pill, honey, so you don’t blow a gasket. The good news is that Venus catches up the Sun and the North Lunar Node the week of the 15th, and whatever you do, make sure you’re with friends and loved ones for a rocking good time. Jupiter squares Saturn most of the month and you continue to grapple with resources and where you are directing your energy. remember – I said no big decisions! Then there is a beautiful new moon in Scorpio on the 23rd which is excellent for intuitive process and hoodoo. Mercury turns around on the 25th.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan19) Okay. Deep breath. This is an interesting month. You just have to get through the insane full moon in Aries on the 8th and you should be fine….! Oh, but then don’t forget there is Mercury retrograde… I’m getting ahead of myself so let me go in order. Mercury goes retrograde on saturn-eclipse-100810-595x440October 4th (yes, Yom Kippur and St Francis –Take –Your-Cats-to- Church- Day) in early Scorpio but by the 10th it moves back into Libra, where it spends the rest of the month. You have to go with the flow of Mercury retro, and not push any big decisions. Remember – linear process goes out the window and it’s dreamtime. Meanwhile full moon and Lunar eclipse in Aries on the 8th is in the same spot as Uranus. That’s an explosive one, personally, politically, and environmentally. People will be very tense and prone to dramatics, you included, darlin’. So just get through it and focus on the second half of October, when Venus catches up to the Sun for a couple of weeks of general good feelings. The week of the 15th is especially nice on the relationship front because the North Lunar Node is in the picture as well, making it an excellent time for intimacy. There is a delicious new moon in Scorpio on the 23rd—get in your garden and plant your garlic! Mercury turns direct on the 25th and Mars enters your own sign on the 26th so you should be more focused at the end of the month.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20-FEB 19) Interesting month! Mercury goes retrograde right off the bat on the 4th, remaining retrograde til the 25th. You know the drill: no bog decisions, just trust your gut. October 8th brings a whoppingly explosive full moon and eclipse in Aries. The explosive part comes in with Uranus since this full moon falls right on that spot. Oy! High drama, that’s for sure, and people’s selfishness will be exposed on this lunation.   Then the second half of the month has venus catching up to the Sun. From the 15th to 22nd the North Node is in the picture too so it’s a great week for connection and intimacy. That going-with-the-flow-5x71vibe pretty much continues all month – a nice gift from the universe. Issues about money and investment will be up in part because of the Venus influence and also because Jupiter squares Saturn most of the month. It is a good time to wrestle with your values about security and how much is enough, especially around the 23rd, when Venus and the Sun enter Scorpio. In fact, there is a gorgeous new moon in Scorpio on the 23rd, and you should use it to focus your intentions around these issues of resources, money, and stability.   Mercury turns around on the 25th and that day could be challenging. Mars enters Capricorn on the 26th and you will have your sharp focus back in gear.

PISCES (FEB 20-MAR 19) I do believe you are spared some of the drama this month…But keep in mind that Mercury goes retrograde almost immediately Pisceson the 4th, making for an interesting Yom Kippur and Feast of St Francis (yup, take your cats to church day!). Mercury starts out in Scorpio but moves back into Libra for most of its retrograde pass. You know the drill: just go with the flow and expect your plans to change… It’s dreamtime and your Piscean dreamy self should love that. The only big hiccup this month is a whopping full moon and eclipse in Aries on the 8th. It is in the same spot of Aries as Uranus, and so the world will be a mess. If you are a very early Pisces, born in the first couple of days of that sign, you’ll be a mess too because it makes a major angle to your Sun. Expect some big conflict to come to a head, and/or you’ll be wrestling with someone else’s big ego. Not fun. But here’s the good news: by the 15th Venus in Libra catches up to the Sun and we have a week with the North Lunar Node in there too, making for really positive connections and intimacy. The Sun-Venus effect lasts all month, even after the Sun and Venus enter Scorpio on the 23rd. There is a spectacular new moon that day, and you should use it for inspiration. The Venus action together with the Jupiter-Saturn square brings up issues about security and stewardship of resources.

ARIES (MAR 20-APRIL19) Get ready, honey!   First, Mercury goes retrograde almost right off the bat on October 4th. It begins its retrograde stint in Scorpio but retrogrades back into Libra , your opposite sign, for most of the month. This could be s frustrating Merc retro for you unless you can really let go and not stress about the changes of plans. Then October 8th brings a whoppingly powerful full moon and eclipse in your own sign. You’ll be wigged out for sure, especially since Uranus sits with the moon, making everyone erratic and in high-drama mode. You will be Ariesforceful and might be accused of being too selfish—especially if your birthday is around April 3rd-4th.   Just sayin’.   But then starting on the 15th Venus catches up to the Sun in Libra and during that week it also reaches the North Lunar Node, making for a delightful time of connection and intimacy. Really nice. The Venus influence continues all month and is very strong on the new moon and eclipse in early Scorpio on the 23rd. Because of the Jupiter Saturn square in effect Venus will highlight issues about our values concerning money and financial security.   Mercury turns around on the 25th and Mars enters Capricorn on the 26th. You’ll be able to accomplish things again!

TAURUS (APR 20-MAY 20) It’s a big month for you! First, Mercury goes retrograde on the 4th for three weeks until the 25th. The start of its pass might be harder for you since it begins in Scorpio but by the 10th is back into Libra. You’re likely feel more frustrated by its Scorpio manifestation, as your opposite sign. Try to let go and not be attached to plans and things going as you thought. Remember, Mercury retrograde is great for learning information in a very sideways fashion, and it is also wonderful for intuitive process – even though it could complicate travel and mess with your computer. The big hiccup of theTaurus month is the huge and dramatic full moon and lunar eclipse in Aries on the 8th. This lunation falls in the same spot of Aries as Uranus so there will be high drama and explosiveness. Steer clear of volcanoes, literally and figuratively.   Then starting on the 15th your ruling planet Venus catches up to the Sun and marches alongside the Sun for the rest of the month. This is a nice combo for connection and relationship, especially from the 15th to 22nd when the North Node is in the picture as well. Interestingly, Venus is also about values and together with the Jupiter-Saturn square, it will put the focus on money and security and investment of resources. On the 23rd there is a big beautiful new moon in Scorpio –use it for inspiration and also as a good time to plant garlic and put in other fall crops. Mercury turns around on the 25th . Venus and the Sun spend the last week of October in a delicious Scorpionic conjunction. Enjoy!

GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 20) Well, well. This is an interesting month for you. First, your ruling planet Mercury goes retrograde on the 4th – making for a deep Yom Kippur and Feast of St Francis. It begins its retrograde pass in Scorpio and then is back in Libra by the 10th. You’ll need to go with the flow and expect any shred of linear thinking and planning to go out the window. Then there is a hugely powerful full moon and eclipse in Aries on October 8th that Geminioccurs in the same degree of Aries as Uranus’ position. High drama, explosiveness, people being crazed and egotistical.   If you are an early Gemini, born in the first few days of that sign, this full moon makes a big angle to you and you’ll be a mess. Take a deep breath – it will pass. Then on the 15th Venus catches up to the Sun in a conjunction that pretty much lasts all month.   This is a great combination for connection and relationships and community, especially from the 15th to 22nd when the North Lunar Node is in the picture too. The strong Venus influence in combination with the Jupiter-Saturn square also puts the focus on money, investment, real estate, and resources. Go with the flow – anything is possible under this Mercury retrograde and you might find yourself a new house. The Sun and Venus enter Scorpio on the 23rd, on the day of a beautiful juicy new moon. Mercury turns around on the 25th . Whew!

CANCER (JUNE 21- JUL 21) Here is the deal with October….. First, Mercury goes retrograde on the 4th , first in Scorpio and then by the 10th inching back into Libra. Remember that Mercury retrograde is a kind of dreamtime, where our usual linear process f thinking, planning, computing may not be so linear. 10367401-atlentic-ocean-waves-near-biarritz-franceLet knowledge bubble up from a deep inner well – that’s your job for the three weeks of Mercury retrograde. As with any retrograde planet, you can’t force it to act normally. You have to go with the flow of it. But back to the month at hand…. October 8th brings a very dramatic full moon and eclipse in Aries which sits in the same spot as Uranus. Expect to feel very unsettled and to have some extremes of feelings. It will be a tumultuous full moon for the planet. Then things settle down and Venus catches up to the Sun starting on the 15th for the rest of the month. This is a great aspect for connecting with people, especially the week of the 15th– 22nd when the North Lunar Node is in the picture as well. The strong Venus aspects together with the Jupiter Saturn square place the focus on money, investments ,and resources and the issue of “how much is enough?” Pay attention to your values and let them guide you, especially around the juicy New moon in Scorpio on the 23rd. Mercury turns back around on the 25th, and Mars enters your opposite sign Capricorn on the 26th. You’ll regain your focus by then.

322x450x1354615847_leo-positive-traits.jpg.pagespeed.ic.CT9U3fKX_CLEO (JUL 22-AUG 21) This month has some challenges for you, especially at the start. First. Mercury goes retrograde on the 4th in early Scorpio and retrogrades into Libra until it turns around on the 25th. You know the drill: no big decisions but let your unconscious and your intuition take the lead. The hiccup in the month is the big full moon and eclipse in Aries on the 8th, which happens to fall on the same degree of Uranus. Yowza! This will be a wild full moon, full of extreme and dramatic events, behavior, and feelings. You should expect your feelings to be running high. Mars squares Chiron at the same time so this lunation is all about fighting and bombast. Stay away from conflict. Then things settle down. After the 15th Venus catches up to the Sun , which is a wonderful aspect for connections and relationships, especially the actual week of the 15th. The Venus influence is strong for the whole rest of the month, and together with the Jupiter-Saturn square, it places the focus on money and resources. The Scorpio new moon on the 23rd is a good time to think about how you are using resources, emotionally, environmentally, financially. Mercury turns back around on the 25th, and on the 26th mars enters Capricorn. Get to work—get back to a project that Mercury retrograde distracted you from!

VIRGO (AUG 22- SEPT 21)  Well, get ready. Your ruling planet Mercury goes retrograde on October 4th for its usual three week stint of possibly annoying non-linear process. Remember that you have to go with the flow, and that plans may not go as planned. If you are Virgo_Arttraveling , expect the unexpected. This is especially the case around the full moon and eclipse on the 8th. It is a powerful full moon anyway and then it occurs in the same spot of Aries as Uranus. Oy! It is likely to be dramatic and tumultuous, personally and globally. Stay away from volcanoes – figuratively and literally! If there are fire signs in your life, you might feel like they are taking up too much space. But then things settle down and there are beautiful Venus influences for the rest of the month.   Venus, the Sun, and the North Node line up the week of the 15th to facilitate positive movement in relationships. Venus, together with the Jupiter-Saturn square, places the focus on the values that undergird your relationship to resources of all kinds: financial, emotional, environmental. It is a time for reflecting on how you deal with these things, especially around the new moon in Scorpio on the 23rd. Mercury turns around on the 25th and Mars enters Capricorn on the 26th. You’ll be productive again and put those Mercury- retrograde inspirations into action.
